  • Batman
    • Batman: Black and White: In one story, a mother desperate for fame leaves her baby on the hood of the Batmobile, and the Caped Crusader has to carry the infant around with him during his nightly patrol. At one point, he stops two low-level thieves from mugging a woman—and then the woman and the muggers scold Batman for the way he's handling the baby. He sheepishly takes their advice.
    • In Batman: White Knight, after receiving a brutal beatdown from the eponymous Dark Knight, The Joker asks him to give him a mysterious pill that will cure his madness so he can prove that he can turn Gotham City against the Caped Crusader, and that he can fix the city. Batman proceeds to force-feed him a massive amount of pills to the point the clown is unable to breathe, shocking everyone around them.
    • Knightfall: In the novelization, Alfred is so incensed by Bruce's inability to just hang them up, he cleans the mansion one last time - and leaves forever.
  • Birds of Prey (2023)
    • For all of Harley's... checkered morality, and despite not appreciating how Dinah acted like she was doing her a favor by recruiting her, Harley still agrees to join up when Dinah admits that she's forming the team to rescue her little sister, because Harley doesn't like people who kidnap kids.
    • Despite Zealot's reputation as a Blood Knight, she agrees not to kill the Amazons, and even takes special measures so that nobody on Themyscira will die if she loses control of herself during the mission.
  • Static: Season One: Though his exact morality is still questionable, Ebon is flat-out disgusted by the government's experiments and murder of Dakota's Bang Babies, many of whom are young children. He also witnessed Quincy Davis' murder, and personally killed the man responsible for kidnapping Quincy.
  • In Superman Smashes the Klan, casual racism is everywhere, to the point that people wonder out loud why people like Superman think it's so bad to only live with people of their own race. But even those people are appalled by the violent actions of the Klan.
  • Injustice 2: Vixen and Animal Man, fed up with poachers and people who don't give a damn about ecology, decide to perform a Faceā€“Heel Turn and jump on Ra's bandwagon. Vixen is okay with some of the more extreme measures, like assassinating the President of the United States (mentioned in passing was pretty much a Trump Expy that had signed various executive orders that destroyed nature) and his yes-man cabinet, but the moment Ra's decides to escalate to genocidal tactics, she is pretty disturbed.
  • Teen Titans: Despite Cassandra Sandsmark / Wonder Girl dislike of Rose Wilson, when Bombshell accuses Rose of being a traitor, working for Deathstroke, Cassandra defends her, believing after everything her father did to her, Rose would never work for him again.
  • Watchmen:
    • Silk Spectre II is on bad terms with her mother for most of the story, but even she is furious about the Comedian's Attempted Rape on her mother.
    • Rorschach is no stranger to acts of horrendous violence, but Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias's actions in the endgame are so horrifying that they cause him to have a massive breakdown. It's also mentioned in some materials that despite being a right-wing nut himself, if he were alive today he wouldn't appreciate his writings being appropriated by right-wing extremists whose opinions were further to the right than his own appeared to have been.
    • The New Frontiersman is a fringe right-wing publication, but even they think Rorschach's journal, which incriminates Ozymandias as the mastermind behind the Comedian's death and other crimes is a bit too crazy to publish, so they consign it to "the crank file." When they get desperate for material as a result of the peace treaty brought about by Ozymandias' actions, they consider looking in the crank file, but it's left ambiguous as to whether they decide to publish it, let alone what the consequences are.
  • When he was trapped on Earth 2 as it was being destroyed by Darkseid, John Constantine assembled a team of ruthless criminals to help him escape back to his Earth. One of the criminals expressed disdain for another one who was black. John killed the racist and apologized to the black guy for getting blood on his suit. John Constantine might be a self-admitted nasty piece of work but even he can't stand bigots.
  • Wonder Woman: Artemis of the Bana-Mighdall is violent, brash and has a low opinion of men and is from the "bad" Amazon tribe compared to the "good" Themysciran ones. Despite this, her misandrist views are that men are annoying and inferior at worst. These views never lead her to want to kill them just for being men, something that some, possibly more, of the "good" amazons want deep down. Artemis is even visibly disturbed when Hippolyta declares war on the US and starts massacring all the men in Amazons Attack.
