A member of the YouTube Poop community since 2008, cs188, real name Corey Shuster, is a pooper who uses vulgar humor and effects to please his fans. Notably, he brought along the rise of spliced-together words JoJ, sus, faaf, or any variation of the two with his video "No One Needs Foundation Repair". His sources vary, and he occasionally poops himself.

Cs has started doing Let's Play videos, which in turn provide more poop fodder for him. He also streams on his second channel.

Just believe me, don't trope!

• Affectionate Parody: To Finger Eleven^note a band he has said he likes in the video "Finger Eleven Sing About Their Sexual Fantasies" (since taken down), and to YouTube Poop reenactor RadicalFaith360 in "The Chronicles of Rage-icalfaith360".
• Approval of God: According to the comments, Domino's retweeted Hungry and I Know It, a remix of LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" and "Party Rock Anthem" turned into an ad for the chain.
• Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: From "President Evil 2: America Loses the Game": "This debate is sponsored by Satan, the number 666, and Ford".
• Ascended Meme: His non-YTP content was used a couple of times, even by cs188 himself.
• Bait-and-Switch: The kids in "IT'S ALL RIGHT HERE AT YOUR FINGERTITS" decide to search up the clit, and they find... free screensavers!
• Blatant Lies: In "IT'S WWWIIINNNDDDOOOWWWSSS!!!", Steve Ballmer says "No one listens to Weezer anymore!" while the video shows their Spotify page with 13 million monthly listeners, helpfully labeled "(no one)".
• Body Horror: Plenty of it, but "Gotye Knows Somebody That He Used" takes it up a notch, such as when his eyes are replaced with two copies of his mouth.
• Call-Back: Millions.
  • Many of his videos will contain at least one reference to "No one needs foundation repair" by having characters say at least one of "HoH SiS", "JoJ", and/or "do it all over again".
  • PTC '80s Edition contains the "Billy Mays Fapping" clip from "Billy Mays Promotes Hardcore Drug Addiction".
  • "My Little Porno: Friendship With Benefits" has references in its ad break to "Steve Ballmer Sells Clean Windows" and "Windows Phone 7 Lets You Play With Your Dick More Often".
  • During the second Pooping the Charts, when Katy Perry sings about shooting cum across the sky, a disembodied penis is seen doing that while passing by the flying sofa from the "Like a G6" segment of the same video.
• Catchphrase: On his non-YTP videos: "Hey guys, CS here!"
• Cerebus Retcon: A dark twist is applied to the comparatively light "No One Needs Foundation Repair" in its subsequent poop, "Escape from HOH SIS", which reveals that the repair workers are aliens from the planet JoJ who were enslaved by HoH SiS to get their precious JoJ.
• Christmas Special: "A Michael Rosen Christmas".
• Clip Show: Subverted by "The Chronicles of Rage-icalfaith360", which takes Radicalfaith360's remakes of his poops and poops them even further.
  • Played Straight by "Pooping Myself", a compilation of his Self-YTPs on his alternate channel, cs188creations.
• Couch Gag: In 2023, CS would start redoing his "Just believe me, don't watch!" introduction based on the respective video's primary source material rather than reusing the Bruno Mars mix all the time.
• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: Lampshaded in the description of the video "Stu 'puts Angelica to sleep' at 4am", when said video has Billy Mays refer to Angelica as Stu's daughter and not his niece.
  YES, I HAVE REALIZED ANGELICA IS NOT STU'S DAUGHTER. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO COMMENT ABOUT IT??
• Creator Cameo: The opening of "Omaba's New World Order Acid Trip" features clips of CS sorting through various tapes.
• Defictionalization: He was actually working on a playable version of Billy Mays' Shitblaster (as seen in OMABA'S NEW WORLD ORDER ACID TRIP) as a Doom mod.
• Deliberately Monochrome: Whenever the primary source of a YTP is in black-and-white (such as in "Too much fiddling with the coffee"), any additional sources will be given a grayscale filter for the sake of visual consistency.
• Department of Redundancy Department: A recurring trope, such as this quote from "No one needs foundation repair":
  Guy with the cap: If I had to do it all over again, and had to take bids all over again, I would still do it all over again.
• Discredited Meme: invoked
  • He knows when he's used a dead joke or overdone a joke, and will frequently lampshade it, such as the frequent appearances of the Scratch Doctor guy, and calling himself out for quoting his YTP videos during Let's Plays.
  • From IT'S ALL RIGHT HERE AT YOUR FINGERTITS: "Sauce!" "Ha ha, very funny."
• Do Not Call Me "Paul": CS does not like it when people use his real name, and has implored his fans multiple times just to call him "CS".
• Downer Ending: "A Michael Rosen Christmas". TheKupoQueen refuses to be Michael's girlfriend for rather obvious reasons. He then goes to bed, laments how sad he is, and then admits he actually hates Christmas. And it ends there.
• Dude, Not Funny!: An in-universe example occurs when he subtly edits the opening of "Don't Stop Me Now" to say that Freddie Mercury plans to hang himself.
• Early-Installment Weirdness:
  • The first few videos he uploaded weren't even poops. He has since deleted most of them, but left a few up.
  • His videos used to rely on repetition, giving characters the wrong voice clips, et cetera. These techniques were acceptable and even expected in 2010, but in later years became so frowned upon that several of his old poops became unpopular.
• Follow the Leader: Countless other poopers have made reference to many of his running gags, especially "HoH SiS", the "JoJ", and "do it all over again".
• Freeze-Frame Bonus: A number of his YTP have little messages pop up from time to time. A literal one happens in EVERYTHING'S OUTTA CONTROL (PTC '80s Edition at 2:02 - the "Forever Alone" face quickly pops up.
• Fridge Logic:invoked In-universe example in his poop of "Party Rock Anthem": "How can Party Rock be in the house if everybody's outside?"
• Funny Background Event: Near the end of the Blur poop, the World Trade Center is visible in the background. Guess what's seen flying towards it?
• The Grinch: Michael Rosen, although he has a very good reason.
• Groin Attack: Gotye speculates that Kimbra could get addicted to "a circumcision sadness".
  Gotye: But you didn't have to CUT IT OFF! *Kimbra swings meat cleaver at crotch level, blood splatters* ...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
• Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: After "Too much fiddling with the antenna", a Poop of a 1950s commercial for a television, almost any other Poop of old advertisements takes the format "Too much fiddling with the X".
• I'm a Humanitarian: Well, Paula Deen is, anyway.
  Paula Deen: There are three ingredients: plain corn meal, sauce and grandma.
  • "Gather the family round the table to eat the family!"
  • The Jell-O Pudding recipe:
  Paula: Mmm, the creamy smoothness of deceased family members!
• Inopportune Voice Cracking: Mocked in "IT'S ALL RIGHT HERE AT YOUR FINGERTITS", where the actor playing Peter has a really bad one. cs188 edits a picture of a goose over him while slowing down the footage to let the joke sink in.
  sO let's get underway
• In the Style of: "Commercialism Up Your Chimneyhole!" is done in the style of Youtube Pooper noisepuppet, which CS admits to "shamelessly steal[ing]" in the description.
• Inherently Funny Words: JoJ and FaaF show up regularly.
• I'm Going to Hell for This: The description of "BE A FOOL ABOUT FIRE SAFETY" states: "I'm clearly going to hell, where there's gonna be a lot of FIRE!"
• Missing Episode: Several of his poops have been taken down, including:
  • A poop of "A Hard Day's Night" was quickly relegated to cs188archives, presumably due to copyright reasons.
  • "Pooping the Charts Vol. 3" was taken down very early in its life. However, it was mirrored on Dailymotion.
  • "No one needs foundation repair" and all the other HoH SiS videos were taken down after the company whose videos he used filed a privacy complaint.
  • "James B!unt Exposes His Beautiful Genitalia at a Sandwich Shop" was mirrored by a fan after a copyright claim.
  • "The Best Foundation Rape-Air", another poop of a foundation repair company's advertisements, was also taken down (likely due to similar reasons as "No one needs foundation repair"). However, it has been preserved on archive.org.
  • "Macklemore-or-less Pops Some Pills at the Gift Shop" and "Potty Rock Aneurysm" were both hit with copyright claims.
  • In February 2018, all of his videos using Michael Rosen were taken down due to a copyright claim (the same one that claimed all of chickenpika's videos). This claim is most likely fraudulent and probably the work of a troll due to Michael Rosen's Approval of God for the YTPs of his videos. They have all been reuploaded by fans.
• Lighter and Softer: "STEVE BALLMER SELLS CLEAN WINDOWS" contains entirely work-safe jokes. Similarly, "Anthony Sullivan's Apocalypse Bulb" is supposed to be "cleaner" than his other videos...but on that poop we have the "Instamammogram" scene, and "Dooon't toouuuch kiiidsss..."
• Logging onto the Fourth Wall: Some time in 2013, someone finally registered cs188electricsex.com (a website brought up in "DIY = (Don't) Do It Yourself") as an actual domain name. It redirects to the YouTube channel, but still.
• MacGyvering: In "Flextits Makes You Super Wet and Completely Dry", Phil Swift mentions that he held a boat together with underwear and repaired it with half-and-half.
• Manipulative Editing: Pretty much a given, considering the area of expertise.
• Mondegreen Gag:
  • In "BUTCHA GOTTA CALL NOW", he points out that it sounds more like Billy Mays is saying "Ease Out Broken Bone Extractor" instead of "broken bulb".
  • In a Pooping the Charts episode, a distorted line by Kanye West in "E.T." almost sounds like he's actually saying "JoJ".
  • In "Incredibly Uncomfortable Discomfort", the lines "durable stitching" and "your comfort" are both played backwards, resulting in them being interpreted by CS as "eh, Schnitzelburg?" and "your fucker" respectively.
• Nocturnal Emission: In The Death of Eleanor Gravy, this happens to Father McKenzie.
• "Not Making This Up" Disclaimer:
  • "Michael's Massive Farty Time", a Sequel Poop to "Michael's Bathroom Fiasco", was conceived when CS heard Michael say "You can freeze a fart?" in one of the latter's science videos, as seen in 7:29 of the 1-18-17 livestream.
  • In "Pooping the Charts Vol. 5", during Katy Perry's "E.T.", Kanye West appears to sing "Getting stupid high straight out of the JoJ." The original lyric, "jars", sounds extremely similar to "JoJ", and CS follows this clip with a title card stating, "I didn't even edit that!".
• Nuke 'em:
  • "The only solution noitulution noitulution is to let this crisis be used as an excuse to WIPE OUT CHINA." *applause*
  • PSY says that Korea could probably do this to America.
  PSY: We are not unarmed. Korea got a bomb, baby, baby, US could become a target; YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN'?
  • PRESIDENTIAL ELIMINATION DAY brings back the previous joke:
  Barack Obama: Governor Romney doesn't have a five-point plan, he has a one-point plan. And that plan is to WIPE OUT CHINA! *applause*
• Our Product Sucks: Occurs almost any time Cs poops an ad. For example, in "Too Much Fiddling With The Gearshift", Semen Bradley describes people switching to Chrysler as "making the biggest mistake."
• Overused Running Gag:
  • Twice towards the JoJ in one Obama YTP. The first time involves exploiting every possible moment that the word can occur. The second? ''You will pass this JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHN MADDEN! JOHN MADDEN! JOHN MADDEN! JOHN MADDEN! The John Madden joke is a double-subversion - The Stinger unleashes the wrath of JoJ MADDEN!
  • Also lampshaded in the "Potty Rock Aneurysm" segment of a Pooping the Charts episode, which repeatedly uses the "Suck our cocks" vocal from another LMFAO song.
  • As well as the frequent use of "But not really" in "Doug DeMuro's Luxuriously Long Get-It-On"
• Parental Incest: Oh so much of it in "Shinedown Screams About Things On The Edge Of A Cliff". Hell, the second line celebrates it.
• Re-Cut: In 2021, he re-mastered "Train derails and hits Justin Bieber" after the original was taken down, naming that new video "Train Derails (Deluxe "Re-Trimmed Chest" Edition)".
• Recurring Riff:
  • The Scissor Sisters song "Filthy/Gorgeous" is his go-to in scenes calling for porny music (such as the "Handy Jack-It Switch" scene from "Billyception"). Specifically, the "NASTY~" falsetto that Jake Shears sings during the chorus.
  • He also uses the Alfred Hitchcock Presents theme a lot, particularly on scenes of people going back and forth in and out of something. The Ur-Example from "No one needs foundation repair" pretty much made it the leitmotif for HoH SiS.
  • Meanwhile, his stock sad music, heard most prominently in "Escape from HoH SiS", is "The Way Out" by Chamber of Echoes.
• Refuge in Audacity: Occurs in every poop of his. Usually in the form of bodily functions or genitalia.
• Rimshot: Appears in "Mario and Luigi's Strip Club Adventure", where Luigi slips and falls in the bathroom of the aforementioned strip club and Billy Mays says, "Uh oh, looks like urine trouble!".
• Running Gag: Many over the many poops. Among them:
  • "JoJ" "sus", and "faaf" and their related variants.
  • Multiple poops make references to ejaculation into eyes.
  • Barack Obama: ...wipe out China. *applause*
  • The price of things being "Ninety-ninety-ninety-ninety-ninety-nine".
  • Since his 2016 return, he's been using the Scratch Doctor commercial guy who says "Nice Car" and "Not so Nice Scratch".
  • In his self-YTPS, anytime a "see" sound comes up, it'll turn into "Cs here", i.e, "As you can plainly Cs, here!"
  • People declaring/revealing themselves to be entirely different people during political debates.
  Lester Holt: I'm Uncle Fester.
  • Since a poop of "Uptown Funk", the "Parental Assvisory: Toilet Content" bumper and sentence-mixed "Just believe me, don't watch!" from said poop has been used as an intro. Since 2023, this intro has now been sentence-mixed from the sources used in the poop itself, rather than use the "Uptown Funk" sample, and later, variations after the "just believe me" part.
  • Doug DeMuro saying "THIS" has popped up as a gag in other recent poops.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: In the comment section of his "Sir Mix-a-Lot Shakes Out a Turbo Turd" video, CS opens up on why he rarely makes musical poops nowadays:
  Many people are saying this video is not available for them. That's because it was copyright claimed, and therefore can't be watched on certain devices. Just watch it on your computer, if you can. :) FYI this is also why I rarely make music video YTPs anymore - every time I do, BS like this happens. As fun as it is to make music video poops, it's hardly worth my time or effort anymore when Youtube copyright policy sucks this much.
• Self-Deprecation:
  • OMABA'S NEW WORLD ORDER ACID TRIP sentence mixes Obama to make a Take That! towards YouTube Poopers who seem to hold him in high regard and tear himself down at the same time. It's hard to tell if he's playing around or not. The next Obama poop attacks Youtube itself for its flaws.
  • This happens constantly in his LPYTP videos, where he himself is the victim of his pooping.
  • In-universe, Hillary Clinton would rather vote for Bernie Sanders than win the election herself.
  • Subverted in "Bruno's Uptown Rectal Cleaning Sing-Along PSA", where after sentence-mixing Bruno Mars to say "This song sucks", he puts up a caption reading "Not the opinion of cs188."
• Shout-Out:
  • An avatar of Ellie appears in "INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE DISCOMFORT" to say "Please be sure you include multiple word reversal jokes in this, thanks!"
    • "PRESIDENT EVIL 2: AMERICA LOSES THE GAME" also has DaThings' avatar show up again as Donald Trump declares they also had the mammoths; said word is one of Ellie's jokes employed in their latest videos.
  • noisepuppet's "toot" Running Gag is referenced in "Advertisements up Your Ads-Hole", "President Evil 2: America Loses the Game", "Drug DeMuro's Bonkers Backseat Bonanza", and "OUTIE INNIE OUCHIE".
  • Sometimes, a song not used as a Running Gag is referenced through sentence mixing, such as "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit, or "This Fire" by Franz Ferdinand, both in "WELCOME TO SUCKSVILLE, U.S.A."
• Sincerity Mode: In February 2014, he posted a non-poop video asking viewers to stop making prank calls to Home Savers Foundation, the company whose video he used to make "No one needs foundation repair".
• Sleeper Hit: "No one needs foundation repair" was only meant to be a one-off filler, but it has become one of his most famous poops, with several sequels and spin-offs. After he took down every poop using that source due to a privacy complaint, others quickly re-uploaded them. It has also spawned legions of imitators, and countless Shout Outs referencing HoH SiS, the JoJ, and/or the phrase "do it all over again."
• Stealth Pun:
  • "I sent and Internet and jizzed in traditional ways" has the name Sussex show up. One commenter pointed out that "sus" and sex happen to be two common elements in his poops.
  • "President Evil 2: America Loses the Game" has Donald Trump say "NOPE. I'm doing my laundry", and the camera pans out to show a washing machine that has suddenly aappeared on the debate floor. If you look closely at the machine, you'll notice that he's laundering money.
• The Stinger: Usually to squeeze in a last-minute joke.
• Symbol Swearing: Renders the "i" in "shit" with an exclamation mark.
• Take That!: Quite often.
  • Especially to Nickelback.
  Chad Kroeger: People wonder everywhere
  Why don't we just go away?
  • Also averted (or maybe played straight, just equal-opportunity) in "THE UNUNITED STATES OF HYSTERIA" where he gives a disclaimer that no offense/political stance is meant, and that the YTP is purely for comedic purposes.
  • Subverted with "Paula Peen Consumes Family Members on the FooF Network". While there are some jokes at Paula Deen's expense, cs188 doesn't have any beef with her.
• Think of the Censors!: "[YTP] OUTIE INNIE OUCHIE" has the female narrator say "We're really trying to monetize" when the male narrator brings up sexual topics.
• Toad Licking: Exaggerated in Pooping the Charts Vol. 7: Why Can't I Think Of A Title?, which makes fun of Justin Bieber's "Mistletoe" by rearranging the lyrics to proclaim he was "gonna get so high, eating toads."
• Trademark Favorite Food:
  Hillary Clinton: I want us to invest in nachos. Them nachos are good!
• Toilet Humor: Another reoccurring trait in his videos. The most prominent example being "Bruno's Uptown Rectal Cleansing Sing-along PSA", in which "Bruno & Mark Swanson offer tips to funk up your daily dumping ritual".
• Vacuum Mouth: Gotye does this, inhaling A sneaker, a Whopper, and finally Planet Earth.
  • Also appears in "Pooping The Charts Vol. 7 - Why Can't I Think of a Title?" with Bruno Mars sucking up Celery, corn, a watch, Caillou, and a Mars bar.
  • Appears yet again in "Train Derails (Deluxe Re-Trimmed Chest Edition)", where Train singer Pat Monahan uses his mouth to suck up a bunch of Oreos.
• Visual Pun: These will occur all over the place to emphasize a joke or to clarify sentence-mixing that may be prone to Mondegreen Gags.
• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: He took down "No one needs foundation repair" and "Escape from HoH SiS", because both used an advertisement from a foundation repair company in Texas who filed a complaint against him on YouTube. After taking them down, he put up a video explaining why they were taken down, and asked that anyone else using that company's ads for a source do likewise. But three years later, after receiving a call from one of the employees saying that someone had prank-called the company, he put up another video asking people not to do that. This issue is now null, however, as the company went out of business in 2016.
• Word Salad Lyrics:
  • A reversed line from "Lighters" by Bruno Mars and Bad Meets Evil is captioned as "arrwzyfrrzynhezzi".
  • The original lyrics to "Gangnam Style" already have potential for misinterpretation, but cs takes it up to eleven by rearranging the vocal sounds...and then interpreting that. The result? Confusing rambling involving, but not limited to, materialism, peeing on "Johnny" with your urine, sticking your hand down into your banana lair, Going Commando while upgrading Norton Antivirus, and boasting about how Korea has a bomb and that America could be a target.
