Times where somebody is accused of being a Category Traitor in Fan Works.

Crossovers
  • As seen in BlazBlue Alternative: Remnant, certain members of the White Fang consider Faunus who don't fight alongside them to be traitors to their race. The Lieutenant outright calls Makoto this in Chapter 52, and Adam's POV in Chapter 54 shows that he views any Faunus who either refuses to align themselves with the White Fang or walk away from it as unworthy of being called Faunus and deserving of a bloody death.
  • A Courage's Flame: Daisuke (a Gender Flip Davis Motomiya) is considered a traitor by the Fire Nation as a whole due to being a Firebender aiding the Avatar, despite being an Amnesiac Hero from before the Fire Nation became imperialistic (or, unbeknownst to her, a girl from an entirely different world).
  • New Stars: Maxx, due to being Trapped in Another World and unable to get back to the Republic, fears that he's this. After learning about the inhibitor chips, though, he decides that, if he's going to be labeled a deserter no matter what, then he may as well leave the Republic for real and becomes an official member of the Orville's crew.
  • SAPR:
    • Blake gets called this a few times after becoming an Atlas penal soldier.
    • Rainbow Dash also reflects on being insulted because she's a faunus working for the Atlesian military.
  • Due to Harry's lack of respect for Hogwarts custom and authority in Scion of Sorcery, Harry prefers sitting with Neville at the Gryffindor table despite being a Slytherin student. At first, this got animosity from both houses, including the staff and prefects. However, due to Harry's charm and willingness to rile up his House's own Head (Snape), he gains the respect of a sizable portion of Gryffindors, most notably the Weasley Clan (sans Percy).
  • Due to the Fantastic Racism between fishmen and humans, Harumi and Miriam in Voyages of the Wild Sea Horse often get disgusted looks from both races when they realize that the two are a couple. (Harumi being a super-girly Wholesome Crossdresser doesn't help.) Fishman pirates have twice called Miriam a traitor to her race for being with Haruminote .

Bolt

  • The Bolt Chronicles: In "The Blood Brother," cocker spaniel Duke is sociopathic and a cat racist. When his fellow canine friend Bolt refuses to share his bigotry, he angrily terminates their friendship and in the process calls him a traitor to his kind.
Duke: [screaming furiously] You coward! You turncoat! I trusted you! I had a little neighborhood beautification and renewal project all planned for the two of us to carry out, too. But it looks like you're not the dog I thought you were.
Bolt: [pulling off the tag Duke had given him to cement their friendship] No, I most definitely am not. [drops the tag in the mud puddle Duke is lying in and walks away sadly]
Duke: [lurching to his feet, covered from head to tail in brown muck, yelling sourly] Cat lover! Lousy, rotten, no-good cat lover! Don’t ever come by here again, you disgusting loser!

The DCU

  • In A Force of Four, Wonder Woman calls her old enemy Badra "traitor to womanhood" for attempting to wipe the human race out. Wonder Woman's mindset is that a woman shouldn't want to inflict harm upon other women, let alone kill them, whereas Badra couldn't care less about female solidarity.

Fullmetal Alchemist

  • In Desert Gold, an Ishvalan kidnapper who holds Roy hostage calls the biracial Edward a "traitor" for siding with the military who had previously mass-murdered Ishvalans.
  • In Son of the Desert, Scar calls the half-Ishavalan Edward a blood traitor for not only being a State Alchemist but for shielding Roy Mustang from his wrath.

Naruto

  • In OrangeLemon's Sannin Swap, Naruto angrily accuses Gaara of turning his back on his fellow jinchuuriki, ignoring the pain and isolation they endured at the hands of others after becoming Kazekage and losing his own bijuu to the Akatsuki.

RWBY

  • Event Horizon (RWBY): Adam calls Velvet a "collaborator" for working against the White Fang, nevermind the things he calls Blake. Velvet's rather unimpressed reaction implies she's heard similar things before.
  • In Four Deadly Secrets, one White Fang assassin mocks Blake Belladonna for fleeing the organization and pursuing peace with humans, but lets her live with an invitation to return to the fold. Later, Team JNPR are surprised to see Neo and Mercury Black, both humans, working with the White Fang; Blake Belladonna is even more shocked (and outraged) to see White Fang Faunus taking orders from Roman Torchwick despite him directly calling them animals.
  • Adam from Resurgence views anyone who doesn't side with his extremist views and the White Fang as a traitor to the Faunus race, specifically telling Blake as such.
  • RWBY: Scars:
    • "Slavosá" is a Faunus word used in this manner. It literally translates to "one who sleeps with the enemy". Blake gets called this by a Faunus who's angry at her for going on a date with Weiss and bringing her to a Faunus-specific club.
    • Velvet accuses Blake of being a vaara (which literally translates to "those who reject Devi's blessing" and refers to a Faunus who wishes they were human) because she's Weiss' girlfriend and she hides her cat ears. Velvet herself is dating a human, but it's Blake hiding of her Faunus traits that upsets her.
  • White Knight Errant: Perrito, an Original Character based off the Puss In Boots character gets this from time to time.
    • The White Fang consider Perrito, a race traitor for having a human wife and initially tried to target him for harassment (his family are all hardened criminals and quickly put a stop to it). Tukson, who actually spoke to Perrito, realized the man is everything that the White Fang should be fighting for and celebrating: A faunus with a successful business who's peacefully integrated with humans.
    • Blake initially felt Perrito and his family were traitors because they're willing to work as tailors for the Schnee. She's corrected that they work for anyone who's polite and can pay them; their deference is merely how they treat every customer.

X-Men

  • In Devil's Diary, Magneto labels Xavier as a traitor to mutantkind for training mutants and sending them against him.
