Each Super Robot Wars series and games has a main villain for the heroes to fight. Given the amount of involved factions in the Massive Multiplayer Crossover, many a title has a Big Bad Ensemble.
- Super Robot Wars: Gilgilgun, from the Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo film.
- The game introduces a new second half in the remake, with Sentou God Noa as the boss of this half.
- Super Robot Wars: Original Generation:
- Original Generation 1 has Bian Zoldark and Maier Branstein as the chief figures in the DC War. The Aerogators make their moves once those two are dealt with, at the command of Levi Torah. Septuagint is the Final Boss, but is a proxy of the Ze Balmary Empire of a different sort to Levi.
- Original Generation 2 has several factions at play. While the Neue DC and Earth Cradle are prominent for a bulk of the game, their leaders, Colonel Van and Sophia Nate, are not that bad themselves, especially when compared to some of their subordinates, and they end up out of the picture sooner than the Inspectors, the Einst, and Shadow Mirror. Of those, the Einst and Inspectors' chief figures are moreso representatives - Alfimi for the Einst and Wendolo for the Zuvorg Alliance. Vindel Mauser is the leader of Shadow Mirror, and given Lamia and Kyosuke's prominence in the storyline, It's Personal. Though the leader of the Einst, the Neue Stern Regisseur, does make its move after Vindel is defeated, serving as the Final Boss.
- Original Generation Gaiden has a Big Bad Ensemble between Duminass and Alkaid - Duminass's usage of the ODE system and exploiting Shouko on one hand, and Alkaid's Shura being the hell-raising aliens every OG title has on the other. With Dark Brain's appearance, being Duminass's superior and the one responsible for the Swordian's appearance, he solidifies a position as sole Big Bad.
- The Second Original Generation has Arteil Steinbeck. Or rather, Euzeth Gozzo. Leader of the Gaia Sabers and responsible for Meteor-3 and the Aerogater invasion, Steinbeck is responsible for a large chunk of the conflicts the Steel Dragons face in this chapter of their story, and sticks around until the end of the game.
- Super Robot Wars V: Effectively has a Big Bad Ensemble: Ahlforz as the leader of the Original Generation faction, Dessler for the New Correct Century Earth given the Gamillans' responsibility for the planet's condition, Black Noir and the Emperor of Darkness for the Universal Century Earth, and Embryo for the Anno Domini Earth.
