Berserk Button / Gundam

• Making fun of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam's Kamille Bidan's Embarrassing First Name sets into motion his joining La Résistance—Jerrid's snarky comment that it's a "girl's name" causes Kamille to leap over a barrier and attack him. Keep in mind that Jerrid is an elite, uniformed Federation soldier with other Federation soldiers.
• Also, don't ever pilot a Gundam (or any mobile suit that suspiciously looks like it) within sight of Marida Cruz. Try looking into the fate of Riddhe Marcenas's Delta Plus for that one.
• ∀ Gundam:
  • The Gundam itself is Corin Nander's berserk button—he will instantly fly into a rage and try to destroy it. Even a paper-mache parade float gets this response. Since he's implied to be a survivor of Gundam Wing's Wing Zero, he has a fanatical desire to destroy any white Gundam.
• Mobile Suit Gundam 00:
  • Setsuna has a few. One is touching him; Nena gets punched across the corridor for an unexpected kiss. Next, don't touch his Gundam. Third... don't be Ali Al-Saachez. He'll instantly go all Leeroy Jenkins.
  • In Season Two, never say anything bad about Neil Dylandy the first Lockon, that is in front of Tieria.
  • Also in Season Two, Louise Halvey goes berserk at the mention of Celestial Being. If she learns someone's involved with them in any way, they become part of her vengeance quest.
• Mobile Suit Gundam AGE
  • For a while, Zeheart Galette for Asemu Asuno. Being Asemu's former friend and the fact that Zeheart is an X-Rounder, allowing him to outstrip Asemu in battle easily, drives Asemu to increasingly angry and dangerous actions. (Woolf eventually helps him get over it.)
• Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans
  • For Ein Dalton, do not disrespect the people who paid him respect. When Crank Zent, the first person who paid him respect in his entire life was killed by Mikazuki, Ein develops a long time grudge towards everyone in Tekkadan, and upon knowing Crank's Graze was taken away by first Akihiro and later Shino as their mobile suit, modified into the salmon-pink Ryusei-Go and became beyond recognition, Ein loses his temper and his grudge goes even deeper, by the time Ein was brutally wounded, turned into a mobile suit known as Graze Ein and confronted Mika after his Roaring Rampage of Revenge, upon hearing Mika didn't give a damn who lieutenant Crank was, Ein completely loses his shit and goes completely ballistic.
