      • Karin: Beauty- Attractive fashion model and typically regarded as a sexy Cool Big Sis, yet has a shy and naive side to her.
      • Emma: Brawn- The most cheerful and energetic among them; she is Swiss and is a nature lover.
      • Kanata: Brains- Levelheaded and works hard for her little sister, and despite her sleepy appearance she often gives very good advice to support her friends.
    • R3BIRTH-
      • Shioriko: Beauty- Odd case; while she is the intelligent, Book Smart and levelheaded Student Council President, she is also absolutely the gentlest and kindest of the new members, and arguably has the most delicate appearance among them.
      • Lanzhu: Brawn- The most energetic, passionate and athletic of them, and sometimes cocky and overconfident.
      • Mia: Brains- American Teen Genius who skipped several years, being a third year at the age of 14, and also helping the others at studying.

    • Second Years-
      • Chika: Beauty- Lead singer, an excellent motivator and good at bringing people together.
      • Riko: Brains- A gifted musician who writes the music for most of the groups songs.
      • You: Brawn- An athletic tomboy who does well in the school's swimming team.

      • Mari: Beauty- A kind hearted, slightly outlandish Spoiled Sweet girl.

    • Beauty: Mai (The most maternal of they three as she looks after Mikoto, and takes care of her sickly brother, Takumi)
    • Brains: Natsuki (The most rational of the three and a bit of a loner)
    • Brawn: Mikoto (Despite being childlike she is incredible powerful and wields a large claymore.)
  • The three female rookies in Naruto:
    • Part 1:
      • Beauty: Ino- Alpha Bitch who cares the most about her physical appearance
      • Brains: Sakura- The most Book Smart girl or, rather, genin as a whole
      • Brawn: Hinata- Hand to hand combat specialist and by far the strongest of the three
    • In Shippuden the roles are slightly shifted:
      • Beauty: Hinata- She Is All Grown Up, turns into Ms. Fanservice and possesses the most elegant and aesthetically pleasing fighting style
      • Brains: Ino- Her techniques revolve around Mind Control and Telepathy
      • Brawn: Sakura- After being trained by Tsunade, she attained a level of physical prowess which allows her to break the ground with one punch.
      • (Tenten has a mix all three traits. Being extremely skilled in weapons, attractive in her own right, and smart enough to put-up with the likes of Guy and Lee at least.)

    • Beauty: Doremi, the clumsy, boy-crazy ditz.

    • Albedo: Brains- Lustful, yet dutiful and tactful in her own way, inexperienced in actual sex (for a Succubus). But never let's her libido get in the way of servitude.
    • Shalltear Bloodfallen: Beauty- An Elegant Gothic Lolita Vampire who tries to act mature, despite her underdeveloped form. Youthful to the point of not knowing true love in her life.
    • Aura Bella Fiore: Brawn- The Tomboy between her and Mare. She's spunky and fun-loving, who loves to eat and serve Lord Ainz even in combat.
  • Pokémon: The Series: Between the Sensational Sisters, though they all fill the Beauty role to a T
    • Beauty: Violet, easily the most feminine of the Sensational Sisters and a classically-trained ballerina.
    • Brains: Daisy, the eldest of the Sensational Sisters and the most competent in a Pokémon battle between the three of them.
    • Brawn: Lily, the youngest of the Sensational Sisters (excluding the one runt) who took up weightlifting in pursuit of a modeling career.
  • Pokémon Horizons: The Series has the three female members of the Rising Volt Tacklers:
    • Mollie - Beauty; she is the team healer.
    • Dot (aka Nidothing) - Brains; she is a live streamer and online celebrity.
    • Orla - Brawn; she is the team mechanic and pilot.

      • Hikari/Shiny Luminous - Beauty; The Heart, powerless without the other two, youngest of the trio.

      • Hana/Cure Yell - Beauty. Established freaking out over a bad haircut, represents cheerleaders.
      • Saaya/Cure Ange - Brains. The most level-headed, represents nurses.
      • Homare/Cure Etoile - Brawn. A star figure skater until a Career-Ending Injury, represents flight attendants.
    • Star★Twinkle Pretty Cure: Of the three human Cures:
      • Elena/Cure Soleil - Beauty. One of the most popular people in the town.
      • Madoka/Cure Selene - Brains. Has a lot of talents, gets excellent grades.
      • Hikaru/Cure Star - Brawn. Energetic, always rushing into an adventure.
    • Healin' Good♡Pretty Cure
      • Nodoka/Cure Grace - Beauty. Caring, Delicate and Sickly, has a very flouncy outfit.
      • Chiyu/Cure Fontaine - Brains. Cares a lot about health and hygiene.
      • Hinata/Cure Sparkle - Brawn. Energetic, the most pushy.
    • Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure
      • Yui/Cure Precious - Beauty. Often ditzy, but still kind.
      • Kokone/Cure Spicy - Brains. The most professional of the three.
      • Ran/Cure Yum-Yum - Brawn. An active delivery person.
  • Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they?:
    • Kurousagi uses her god-granted lightning strikes and thus is brawn.
    • Kudou Asuka is beauty, with strong charisma and a "command" ability.
    • Kasukabe You is brains, signified by her copy ability and being able to speak many languages, including a sizable amount of animal ones.
  • Project A-Ko
  • Puella Magi Madoka Magica:
    • The beginning of the series gives a strong impression of having this ensemble, but it breaks down quickly.
      • Beauty: Madoka, The Heart and by far the least combat-capable of the group. Until she becomes a god, and erases all witches from existence.
      • Brains: Mami, Team Mom, constructs muskets out of ribbons and has years of experience fighting witches. The World's Expert (on Getting Killed).
      • Brawn: Sayaka, card-carrying tomboy, the most determined to beat up baddies. Goes on a rampage over lovesickness and self-hate, becomes a witch.
    • In the original timeline, things are shuffled around:
      • Beauty: Mami, who does little direct fighting, and mostly supports the others.
      • Brains: Homura, the dorky and awkward one, beats a witch with a homemade pipe bomb.
      • Brawn: Madoka, the most aggressive, outgoing, and confident of the three.
    • Rebellion organizes the five characters into groups:
      • Beauty: Madoka+Homura. Madoka boosts Mami's attack power and Homura does defensive time-freezing for the whole team. Nagisa takes over this role in the climactic battle.
      • Brains: Mami, leader and somewhat literal orchestrator.
      • Brawn: Sayaka+Kyouko, the dedicated Bash Sisters, both as tomboyish as ever.
  • Ranma ½: When you boil them down to the characteristics most people associate them with, the Tendo sisters fit.
    • Beauty: Kasumi is the Team Mom and Yamato Nadeshiko.
    • Brains: Nabiki is very cunning and manipulative.
    • Brawn: Akane is a tomboy who likes martial arts.

      • Usagi/Sailor Moon and Chibi-Usa/Chibi-Moon - Beauty; a mother and daughter duo who love each other very much, like any other mother and daughter.
      • Rei/Sailor Mars and Makoto/Sailor Jupiter - Brawn; one is a shrine maiden with anger issues, the other is an athletic tomboy.
      • Ami/Sailor Mercury and Minako/Sailor Venus - Brains; one is a technological genius, the other has years of experience as another superhero named Sailor V.

      • Michiru/Sailor Neptune - Beauty; the Elegant Classical Musician
      • Setsuna/Sailor Pluto - Brains; Orchestrates the rise of the Silver Millennium with the Time Gate.
      • Haruka/Sailor Uranus - Brawn; she's mannish, can pass for a guy and uses a sword.
    • The Sailor Starlights
      • Yaten/Star Healer - Beauty; delicate and fashionable like a model.
      • Taiki/Star Maker - Brains; literature-loving intellectual with excellent grades.
      • Seiya/Star Fighter - Brawn; star school football player with a quick temper.

  • In Tokyo Mew Mew, the first three Mew Mews are examples.
    • Beauty: Minto Aizawa, the affluent ballerina whose beauty amongst the Mew Mews is rivaled only by a later addition to the team, her idol Zakuro.
    • Brains: Retasu Midorikawa, the shy bookworm whose interest in books proves vital to victory against one chimera anima.
    • Brawn: Ichigo Momomiya, easily the most passionate of the initial trio, if just as feminine as the other two, and will spring into action the minute anything or anyone she loves gets threatened, even standing up to her own father when he's curb-stomping Masaya at kendo.
