- Go all the way back to the beginning and you'll find FIRE (as seen here when it made a surprise appearance on DDR SuperNOVA 2).
- A.DOGMA, a "Premium Encore Stage" on V5. It seriously wouldn't sound out of place on a Castlevania game.
- Some of the non-Japanese licenses have been pretty interesting:
- V4 got us "Nemesis" by the Swedish metal band Arch-Enemy. No, that Master Guitar rating is not 9.6/9.9, you're just seeing things.
- V6 has "Through the Fire and Flames": despite being a only 1/6th of the entire song, until the release of a Guitar Hero Mission-Pack Sequel just a few months after V6 came out, it was also the only game that officially had the infamous song on drums. GITADORA adds another DragonForce song, "Holding On".
- The Least 100sec, and its long version The Least 333sec by Hirofumi Sasaki, from Guitar Freaks 5th Mix & Drum Mania 4th Mix. The latter in particular contains some beautiful piano playing, while still retaining the epic main part from the shorter version.
- Rock to Infinity. Suitably titled as it is the final song in Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania V5 Rock to Infinity.
- Einherjar, which so far is the only Bemani song to have the merit of being composed in part by Nobuo Uematsu himself.
- Reaching for the Stars from Guitar Freaks 11thMix & Drum Mania 10thMix, a smooth but rockin' acid jazz track with lyrics by Frances Maya.
- Asaki made so many good songs for this series but Gekkou Chou from Guitar Freaks 9thMix & Drum Mania 8thMix might be a contender for one of his best works.
