• At the end of Episode I, Caleb discovers Ophelia's corpse in Cheogh's lair. Enraged, he challenges Cheogh: "Show yourself! SHOW YOURSELF!" Just for the occasion, he drops his grim, raspy voice and manages to sound dignified and strong.
• Upon entering Shial's lair, Caleb wastes no time in calling her out:
  Caleb: "Hey, She-bitch! Let's go."
• How does Caleb cap off his defeat of Ishmael's murderer, Cerberus? By slicing open the hellhound's gut, shoving in a few remote bombs, and blasting his corpse into giblets. Caleb doesn't even flinch when the explosion soaks him in Cerberus's blood, only raising one arm to keep his hat in place.
• As much as Tchernobog's betrayal hurt him, Caleb is determined to put down his former god once and for all—and he does.
  Caleb: Fool. You are already dead.
