• One of Xolotl's earliest victories as the Black Mudpuppy, using his slime to unveil the Invisible Death Mime.
• While Xolotl is temporarily MIA, Simon fights Hitersaurus. He loses, but the fact that a Non-Action Guy like him was able to put up any resistance at all was awesome. And not long afterward, Xolotl returns... with Stego-Stalin.
• Quetzalcoatl talking Xolotl out of his Heroic BSoD.
  Xolotl: What if I'm not [immortal] though? What if I die tomorrow?
  Quetzalcoatl: Then you die tomorrow, idiot! There's nothing you can do about it anyway, so why spend time worrying about it?
• When all seems lost in the fight against Dr. Hypochondria, Xolotl's severed hand comes to the rescue!
• "Fools. I'm invincible... because I'm a turtle!"
• While stuck in the underworld, Xolotl finds a table made of Olympian shale and uses it to give some thugs up on Earth a good beating, turning the tide for the B-Vengers.
• Quetzalcoatl reveals his feathered serpent form. Epic.
• How can rotating feet ever come in handy for a superhero? Xolotl shows how.
• When Mictlantecuhtli threatens to kill Simon, Chumbles rushes in and rips off the Death God's lower leg. Not only that, it actually incapacitates Mictlantecuhtli long enough for Xolotl, Simon, and Chumbles to escape into the portal.
• Siren using her command over spiders to secretly lead Xolotl out of Mictlan.
• Mostly-depowered Xolotl taking on Cipactli with nothing but a knife. He wins.
• The battle against the skeleton guards, from White Waterdog wrecking their shit in his new Powered Armor to Siren decapitating one with her bare hands. Even Simon gets in on the action! It's one for the artist too, as the panel depicting the battle is one of the most detailed in the entire comic and took significantly longer than usual to complete.
• Simon Taking the Bullet for Xolotl.
• Xolotl at last assuming the responsibility assigned to him almost 500 years ago, becoming the sun, destroying Mictlantecuhtli, and rebooting the universe.
• Young Jack decking Bobby, her childhood bully, in the face.
