Goosebumps is infamous for how frequently it has these types of character tropes to the point of having enough examples to warrant it's own page.
- Lefty from Let's Get Invisible! is very hyper and full of energy and loves threatening Max as well as becoming invisible when told not to.
- Carly-Beth's little brother, Noah, from The Haunted Mask likes to scare her and steal her stuff.
- One Day At Horrorland has Luke, who, much like the Lefty example above, is very hyper and enjoys pinching people, particularly Lizzie.
- The worst out of them all though, would have to be Tara Webster from The Cuckoo Clock of Doom. She enjoys making her older brother, Michael's life a living hell and their parents do nothing about it! Because of this, it can be hard to feel sorry for her after she gets erased from existence.
- Night of the Living Dummy II gives us Amy and Sara's little brother, Jed, who is an obnoxious prankster who, whenever he isn't pulling obnoxious pranks, he's pestering his older sisters, particularly, Amy. Sara doesn't seem to mind him too much unless he tampers with her paintings though.
- Joe Burton, the protagonist of Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes, much like the Jed example above, is a prankster who enjoys bugging his older sister, Mindy, to no end. One of the first things he does in the book is make her think that there's a green glob of snot coming out of her nose.
- Bad Hare Day: Tim's little sister, Ginny, bosses her brother around, forces Tim to take her to a magic show and threatens to rat out Tim to their parents for sneaking out at night. Not to mention she likes to use her karate tricks on him.
- Downplayed with Brandy from Egg Monsters from Mars. While she isn't as bad as the above examples, she can be a bit irritating towards Dana at times. He is constantly in her shadow, which he dislikes. And after his whole tragedy involving the egg monsters, Brandy tells her friends all about it and how her brother's going crazy, much to his embarrassment as he overheard.
- Cole from Chicken Chicken as one of the first things he does in the book is make Crystal and their parents think that Vanessa did something bad to him.
- Jillian from Bride of the Living Dummy has two, in the form of twins. However, it turns out that Mary Ellen was forcing them to do all those annoying things to her.
- Billie from the Invasion of the Body Squeezers as she is always trying to one-up Jack.
- Amanda from Horrors of the Black Ring, who is your typical prankster sibling. However, she does at least consider Beth to be her Cool Big Sis though.
- Dustin's bratty little brother, Logan, from Return to Ghost Camp. He taunts Dustin by saying he's going to prison rather than camp and that he'll be taking Dustin's room while Dustin's away, prompting a furious response.
- Full Moon Fever: Downplayed with Alesha. While, yes, she does sometimes get on Robbie's nerves, she's not as bad as the above examples.
