Hello, [[troper]], and welcome to the Live-Action Film forum, where we talk about movies, new and old. This is a cool and relaxed community, so feel free to take a seat. However, there are just a few things to keep in mind:
- Be sure to read the forum rules here
. In this community, things are usually kept civil quite easily, but keep in mind the primary rule for the site: Don’t be a dick.
- Explicitly NSFW images and links should not be posted, and repeatedly breaking this rule is grounds for banning. You can talk about movies that have them, as long as you don't get too descriptive about racy or disgusting subjects in your posts.
- Related to the above, the current Content Policy forbids the creation of articles on subjects deemed to be primarily or solely pornographic. As for movies that might have artistic pretensions, each case will be analyzed carefully, in order to see if there's a line being crossed or not (for example, threads about movies that seem to only aim for shock value, e.g. A Serbian Film). Movies whose articles are cut under it are not allowed. Movies whose articles are stubbed/locked, despite not being under the Content Policy, will, nonetheless, be analyzed carefully. In terms of the latter, it is restricted to talk about the cleaner/general details in its discussion. Anything with a stronger judgement is discouraged on the forums.
- Behaviours such as trolling, flaming, or being racist/xenophobic or sexist are not allowed. If you come accross them, use the holler button located above the offending posts to contact the moderators.
