* EnsembleDarkhorse: Two poorly-drawn chomiks located in Ao, billy and Maurice, are as popular as most ... difficulty and above chomiks, owing to their amusing StylisticSuck designs and having non-standard names.
* FriendlyFandoms: Find the Chomiks fans are often fans of VideoGame/JukesTowersOfHell, due to both being NintendoHard Roblox games with similar mechanics used in different genres. This is more apparent due to FTC using the [=JToH=] kit, and the former game making references to the latter (such as having its own towers for certain chomiks, and the difficulty chart being based on [=JToH=]), leading players of Find the Chomiks to find out about Juke's Towers of Hell and vice versa.
* JustHereForGodzilla: Many players from VideoGame/FindTheMarkers only go to the Marker Castle to get the Chomik Marker.
* MemeticMutation:
** Calling easy chomiks like Normalny Chomik the hardest of them all, and saying that the hardest chomiks such as Uber Secret Chomik are actually easiest are somewhat popular jokes to make.
** EVIL CHOMIK is the best chomik. EVIL CHOMIK is one of the most hated chomiks (which was probably its intention), due to being poorly-drawn, having a rising lava obby that is only attemptable once per server, and being added just to be the 420th chomik. Naturally, people have stated the opposite opinion ironically, claiming that it is one of the best chomiks.
** Billy clones Due to the popularity of billy and Maurice, it's popular to make "clones" of them in fanon communities, which are mainly poorly-drawn chomiks with human names, though a few, such as Ultimate Billy, are variations on billy itself. The Find the Chomiks Fanon Wiki contains examples of billy clones here.
** Moyai Chomik doesn't exist A minor meme claims that Moyai Chomik is nonexistent, as one of the Backrooms chomiks is called Chomik 56 Doesn't Exist, and Moyai Chomik was the 56th chomik added to the game, leading to joking connections between the two.
* NintendoHard: Certain chomiks (especially the Soul-Crushing ones) require dozens of attempts, which includes decoding ciphers, completing hard obbies, finding them in a spot that is hidden very well, etc.
* ThatOneBoss:
** Fallen King Chomik, the boss for God Chomik, has many difficult-to-dodge attacks in its arsenal, including a BulletHell spam of red orbs, a rain of lasers requiring precision to avoid, and a row of lasers with a safe spot in between, the last of which is especially difficult since you only have around a second to jump into the safe spot before the lasers come in. Thankfully, you can heal in this fight, but healing only comes in the form of green orbs occurring after every few attacks, which are randomly scattered among harmful red orbs and blue orbs you must deflect at the boss.
** The Halloween Lord boss fight. The goal is to deplete the hit points of his pumpkins so you can obtain Headless Horsemik. However, you have to do this while constant attacks are being launched around the arena, including swarms of zombies, barrages of regular-sized and gigantic meteors, blasts of fire, and moving rings produced by the pumpkins themselves. Eventually, it'll get to a point where there are multiple pumpkins and many attacks being unleashed at the same time, requiring extremely careful movements to ensure that you don't die.
* ThatOneLevel:
** Almost all Soul-Crushing chomiks. Starting from the Insane difficulty onward, chomiks can be very difficult to obtain, with methods of obtaining them including extreme parkour, convoluted or obtuse puzzles, the use of glitches and advanced platforming skills, or just being hidden very well.
** Ruby Artifact Chomik is known for being hard to obtain, since it requires moving though small areas with soul candles surrounding them. You have to walk carefully; one misstep and you have to start it from the beginning with no checkpoints at all. This also extends to Soul Candle Chomik as it's accessed from a wall where Ruby Artifact Chomik is; thankfully, the obstacle course is easier and you start from the beginning of that course rather than Ruby Artifact's, but that means you'll have to do one more course in addition to doing Ruby Artifact's very difficult one and finding a secret at the end of the latter.
** Dementia Chomik requires you to fall through a hole in the Grayscale Realm and walk along a series of invisible paths. A lot of these paths are very deceiving and will either lead to dead ends or your doom, so careful navigation is needed to find the correct path, and even then, it gets to a point where the right path becomes entirely invisible, leaving you without a clue what to do unless you zoom out and see the barely-visible Chomik or use a guide. If you fall off a path, you'll have to walk to the hole and find the paths all over again.
** For Building Chomik, you need to long jump to a building in Trollhattan. That isn't the hardest part; the real difficulty sets in when you need to climb the building, requiring you to scale the windows and do tough ladder flicks that, if failed, will most likely send you falling into the abyss below, requiring you to go all the way back to the building from the spawn. If you do manage to scale the building, the Chomik is nearly invisible and between a window and the roof, which can confuse some players who made it to the top only to find nothing there. It's telling that more people have obtained God Chomik, a HAHA difficulty The second hardest difficulty in-game Chomik, while Building Chomik is only Terrifying which is only the fifth hardest difficulty.
** To get billy, you have to complete an extended version of the Scary Maze Game, with the first 3 levels not being so bad. Level 4 gets a bit more difficult due to the walls being tighter, and then comes level 5, with extremely tight pathways requiring a very steady hand to maneuver. If you touch the walls at any point, you have to start from level 1. Of note is that this Chomik is nearly impossible on mobile since the cursor doesn't appear.
** Green Magical Chomik is located in a secluded part of the Cyber Zone that not many people have accessed, mainly due to a lack of indication that there's anything there, the extremely precise long jumps you have to do, and respawning at the start of the realm far away from the area if you fall. If you do manage the jumps, you'll have to do a risky wrap-around to end up on a small platform or perform a luck-based high jump to surpass that part while still ending up on the platform, and the last part is thankfully easier, as you just need to used Click to Move to find the path to the Chomik.
** One of the most difficult parts in The Backrooms is the button hunt for "a chomik you've found before" in The End. Getting to the level itself isn't too bad, and most of the buttons simply require scavenging skills to find, but there's one particular button that has kept some players from getting it. It is camouflaged on one of the lights and is challenging to press, as you have to get to the top of a very thin pillar which necessitates glitches (such as wallhopping) and jump precisely so you can hit the button. It's also hard to tell if you've hit the button, since it doesn't make a noise if you press it and it blends in well with the light. This also extends to Chomik 56 Doesn't Exist, who can only be obtained by finding an additional button in ACYFB's room (requiring the light button to be pressed), and Backrooms Chomik, who has a key hidden in Chomik 56's room.
** Many people consider Candy Apple Chomik to be too difficult for a Hard difficulty Chomik. It's located in the Frozen Caramel Race, which is easy to find and can be continuously retried, but the challenge comes in the race itself. You have to push a box at the end of the frozen caramel slide in under 40 seconds without your character touching the slide to get the Chomik. It sounds simple, but the slide suffers from slippery physics and sharp/blind turns that will send you flying if you go too fast, you can't take your time and align where you want to go because of the time limit, and the box has a tendency to flip or glitch out even when you're not pushing it at high speeds, forcing you to restart the race if you fail. As a result, fans aren't too fond of this Chomik and suggest that it either be nerfed or have its difficulty moved up to at least Intense.
** To get Realmik, you need to enter a portal in the Quarry Depths and complete over two dozen trials based off realms. While some of the puzzles are easy, others aren't as simple, such as the Revamp Realm Trial's one-stud jump obby, and getting under Desolate Island with very difficult truss jumps.
** The Uber Secret Chomik deserves very special mention, as it was so difficult that one of the owners of the game had to make a walkthrough for it (see here), due to the extremely convoluted requirements and misleading paths to where it's located. The wiki page for this Chomik was also temporarily deleted not due to trolling, but also because of how difficult it is that it was thought to be a myth at first. Notably, it took 40 hours and 8 minutes for the first confirmed player to obtain the Chomik, marking it as the second-longest time amount to find, only surpassed by the o:<Ȼ̝;ì̼zwߚS/ at 61 hours.
