Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde (born December 22, 1982) is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, who signed with Wrestling/AAA in 2014 as Myzteziz. He is best known for his time in the lucha libre promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (Wrestling/CMLL) under the ring name Místico, where since 2006 he was the main Face técnico in CMLL and the biggest box office draw in all of Mexico. Místico is Spanish for "Mystic", a religious gimmick that works on the angle of him being the Kayfabe protégé of the wrestling priest Fray Tormenta.

Prior he competed as Dr. Karonte Jr after being trained by the original, who was also his father, as Astro Boy, filling in for his brother after his untimely death and as Komachi in Wrestling/MichinokuProWrestling, filling in for Volador Jr. Upon signing with WWE in January 2011, Urive was repackaged as Wrestling/SinCara. After leaving WWE in 2014, Wrestling/Hunico took over the Sin Cara gimmick, while Urive became Myzteziz before later settling on the name Caristico. In the meantime, Carlos Muñoz took over the Mistico name, and when Urive returned, the two formed a tag team as la Alianza de Plata y Oro. After Muñoz was released from CMLL, the original Místico became the sole performer under that name again.Muñoz went to take up the name Dralístico, playing on his history as both the second Místico and the original Dragon Lee (before his younger brother took up the role in 2013).

Urive is the current NWA World Historic Middleweight Champion, as well as one-half of the CMLL World Tag Team Champions. He has previously been a Mexican National Light Heavyweight Champion, Wrestling/ationalWrestlingAllianceWA World Middleweight Champion, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, IWRG Intercontinental Super Welterweight Champion, Baja Stars Wrestling Intercontinental Middle Weight Champion, Middleweight Champion of the Mexican World Wrestling Association, FMLL World Champion, CMLL World Tag team Championtwice with Negro Casas and twice with Héctor Garza and CMLL World Welterweight Champion.

!! Tropes associated with Myzteziz include:
* AbortedArc:
** Místico was to be the second in a line of orphans trained to wrestle by Fray Tormenta himself following El Sagrado but CMLL felt Sagrado wasn't convincing enough(he botched a lot) so this aspect of his gimmick got dropped and wasn't brought up again even as Sagrado got better and began to get placed higher on cards alongside Místico.
** His feud with Rey Misterio Jr in AAA was cut off just as it was getting started when CMLL suddenly decided it wanted him back.
* Archenemy:
** CMLL, IWRG, New Japan and the indies: Averno (whom he won his first singles title from) and Ultimo Guerrero
** In Wrestling/WWE, Wrestling/Hunico and Wrestling/AlbertoDelRio
** AAA: Perro Aguayo Jr. Before the freak accident that lead to Jr's death, 2014-2015 were a long build up to a big feud between the two. The two had met several times before AAA but not frequently enough or in anything major enough to overshadow Averno or Ultimo Guerrero, so it defaults back to them.
* BadassLongcoat: Especially Místico's entrance attire
* BashBrothers: Místico's number one ally was Volador Jr, Wrestling/LaSombra was a bad seed but Místico proved to be a positive influence on him. He's also had a lot of ring time in the same corner as Dr Wagner and Shocker. He teamed with Blue Panther thanks to their mutual association with Atlantis.
* BeingEvilSucks: Místico became a Rudo after being forced to team up with his former enemy Averno to enter the "amazing pairs" tournament and taking a liking to his "all's fair in war" philosophy (though adding war and defending Mexico City, to the end of, showing he had not turned on the fans in his mind). After a while though, he realized this attitude had not brought him anymore success and he became a technico again.
* BigBrotherMentor: Wrestling/Jr is this to Sin Cara, as Cara has had trouble fitting in with WWE style of wrestling.
* CelebrityEndorsement:
** Místico's Nestle Commercials.
** Myzteziz rappelling from the ceiling at Triplemania XXIII to promote Film/MissionImpossibleRogueNation.
** He's a supporter of the Mexican National Action Party, or PAL.
* CoolMask: He is a luchador, it goes with the territory.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: In his feud with Hunico, who was billed as Sin Cara Negro after changing his gear to black and silver,, and Sin Cara was billed as Sin Cara Azul, was dressed in blue and gold.
* CompositeCharacter: Starting in Lucha Libre Elite, he took on the gimmick of Carístico, a combination of Místico and Sin Cara.
* CostumeCopycat: Another Sin Cara, who was revealed to be Hunico, in revenge for Sin Cara previously being inserted into Hunico's former role as Místico.
* CutShort: His IWRG Intercontinental Super Welterweight Campeonato run was cut short when IWRG decided it was cutting all ties with CMLL and Místico happened to be under contract with them.
* DisneyOwnsThisTrope: Who used the Místico gimmick first is a matter of contention but since CMLL has legal ownership of the Místico gimmick, Wrestling/Hunico was forced to come up with a new one. When this Mistico left for WWE to become Sin Cara, CMLL would give the gimmick to Dragon Lee, would then form a new Sky Team trio. There is also disupte over who owns Sin Cara gimmick but WWE gave it to Hunico after this Sin Cara left. All this is why after being snatched up by AAA he officially became known as Myzteziz.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: There are rumors that all he did his brief stay in developmental was only to work out his elaborate entrance. What is clear is that not teaching him the language of the majority roster and fan base has turned out not to be for the better. He also seemed to have little grasp of the regional heat building style.
* DisproportionateRetribution: After losing their match at AAA's 2015 Triplemania, Myzteziz was attacked by the remnants of his old enemies, Los Perros Del Mal, until Rey Misterio Jr returned to run them off. Unsatisfied with this, Myzteziz took a staple gun to Joe Lider's head before allowing him to escape with the rest of the dogs.
* EpicFail:
** A t-shirt WWE marketed for him had to be pulled after a phallic image was discovered in the design.
** And to a lesser extent. His WWE career up till his injury, which was far from botch free. This is due to him not being put through development system first to get used to the WWE style of wrestling, get used to his new mask or learn any English and was put on TV straight away.
* FashionableAsymmetry: Místico's gold and white ring gear had the same patterns on both sides but would pronounce one color over the other or switch colors from right to left.
* FinalBattle: Místico's match with Averno at the 2011 Fantasticamania was supposed to be his last match with Averno. And in a way, it was, concerning Místico, this Místico.
* FinishingMove: 619 to La Mística, a tilt-a-whirl headscissors into an armbar, while he was in CMLL. In WWE he does the move without the 619 (since Rey Mysterio) or transitioning into an armbar (because of Alberto Del Rio) which makes it look odd (it basically became Yoshino's Torbellino, which Wrestling/DragonGate fans know isn't the most reliable finishing move). Also used to do the evolution in WWE, a moonsault side slam which was botched in his first match (actually Primo's fault that time but still).
* FragileSpeedster: Showing a surprising amount of self preservation for a wrestler of his type, he simply ran and bounded to avoid most of the brawling leading up to the money in the bank ladder match. He did pretty well in the contest too, but once Sin Cara was finally caught it did not take much to keep him down.
* FriendlyRivalry: He and Tiger Mask IV as representatives of CMLL and New Japan, respectively.
* GameBreakingInjury: Was out for five months due to a slipped patella in his left kneecap. Then was out again for a month after suffering a knee injury.
* GenreBlind: After Místico became a rudo, Volador Jr. challenged him to super libre, which essentially is a match without rules, which is especially serious in super conservative CMLL. Místico accepted and took advantage of this by tearing at Volador Jr's mask until he was unable to defend himself and another mask had brought in for him to wear before he got back in the match. Seeing this, Místico tore off his own mask behind the referee's back and threw it to Volador Jr in hopes he would be disqualified. While masks are important, enough for even Místico to be given enough time to put his on after doing this, he forgot this was super libre so he got no DQ and Volador Jr went on to defeat him by submission.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: Sin Cara didn't talk at first, so this was his most common form of communication.
* GlassCannon: Dear Lord in Heaven the man gets hurt a lot, at least in WWE.
* GreenEyedMonster: Things were well with Rey Misterio Jr on the independent circuit and WWE, where Rey was already established and MisticoSin Cara was honored to be his tag team partner. But when Myzteziz turned heads by popping up in AAA, he wasn't happy to see Misterio come behind him after a 30 year absence and get all the attention from the fans(and sponsors).
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Volador Jr has defeated him by reversing La Mística and Rey Mysterio Jr has beaten Myzteziz with his own finishing sequence.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Místico lost his first wrestling/lucha title(NWA World Middleweight) to Black Warrior, who he made the mistaken choice of choosing as a tag team partner for a shot at the CMLL World Tag Team titles and was betrayed on the second chance. On the positive, this did lead to a more successful team with Negro Casas.
* InASingleBound: Sin Cara's entrance consists of jumping over the ring ropes (in RealLife, it's done through the means of a trampoline disguised by camera trickery).
* IHaveManyNames: Astro Boy, Dr. Karonte Jr, Komachi, Místico, Mistic 2.0, Sin Cara, Myzteziz, Carístico.
* LegacyCharacter: He's either been the one receiving, or the one passing down, almost every name he's used, the only possible exception being Caristico:
** He started out as Astro Boy, having taken up the gimmick after his brother, the original Astro Boy, passed away.
** He then became Dr. Karonte Jr. after his father, who wrestled as Dr. Karonte.
** He was the third man to take up the name Komachi in Michinoku Pro Wrestling.
** When he left CMLL for WWE, CMLL passed on the Mistico gimmick to the former Dragon Lee (who in turn passed the Dragon Lee name to his own brother, the more famous Dragon Lee; Mistico II now works as Dralistico).
** On leaving WWE, he passed the Sin Cara gimmick on to Hunico, who had previously worked as the impostor Sin Cara Negro.
** He worked as Myzteziz for AAA; AAA would later repackage a luchador called Angelikal as Myzteziz Jr. (which led to a feud with Mistico's real life brother Argenis, who complained that a non-family member had taken up the gimmick).
* Leitmotif:
** La 5ª Estación's "Me Muero", which he used after starring in the music video
** "Ameno" by Era is his most iconic theme due to frequency, after using "Me Muero" for awhile CMLL remixed "Ameno".
** "Ancient Spirit" in WWE
* MaskedLuchador: All of his gimmicks so far.
* MeaningfulName: Sin Cara means Faceless.
* NoSell: In his first WWE match, after being (accidentally) dropped on his chest from the top rope to the floor his amusing response is to angrily rise, slide back in the ring and repeat the process.
* OldMaster: Fray Tormenta, the two of them even had a comic.
* OminousLatinChanting: "Ameno" and possibly "Ancient Spirit", which also has some kind of chanting.
* OrangeBlueContrast: Special lighting is used during Sin Cara matches with the ring golden and the background deeply blue.
* PaintItBlack: When he teamed with Averno, Místico's gear became much darker
* ParentalAbandonment: In CMLL's Kayfabe to make the ties to Fray Tormenta stronger.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Místico became famous for taking down much larger opponents with various flying arm drags and throws.
* PowerStable: Super Sky Team with El Sagrado, Wrestling/LaSombra and Volador Jr. Fans like to call them "Los Reyes del Aire" after the CMLL event of the same name.
* PutOnABus: After failing a Wellness test, he was taken out during Money in the Bank. Then was away due to his injuries he suffered. The he released from WWE in 2014.
* PyrrhicVictory: He won the feud against Hunico for the right to continue wearing the Sin Cara mask but later on got released by WWE and Hunico ended up becoming the new Sin Cara anyways.
* RealMenWearPink: Carístico tends to have pink on his gear or masks.
* RedBaron: El Seminarista de los Ojos Blancos. If you don't get it, take a good look at Místico (or Myzteziz's) face and think about his gimmick. Also, El Príncipe de Plata y Oro, based on Místico's standard outfit and popularity.
* RedIsHeroic: After returning from injury, Sin Cara's ring gear turned to red.
* ReligiousBruiser: To a degree as Místico, given who his mentor was. Sin Cara has been seen taking a prayer like pose on occasion as well. Okay, more than a degree, see his first red baron.
* SiblingTeam: He and his brother tagged together as Astro Boy and Astro Boy II in honor of their late older brother, who was the first Astro Boy
* ShouldersOfDoom: Some of his entrance attire had large, golden shoulders that curved into a noticeable point, like he could "spike" those he tackled with them.
* ShoutOut: Místico has a Golden Spider-man outfit he sometimes wrestled in, which also brings to mind the yellow clad "Arachnaman" of Wrestling/WCW.
* SignatureMove: Handspring back elbow feint.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Eventually degenerating to the Wrestling/HarleyRace module when Místico was a Rudo, proclaiming himself to be the best wrestler in the world.
* SuperSpit: A most unexpected example, since he's had his mouth covered almost all of his entire career. It's how he turned on Wrestling/ReyMysterioJr after Triplemania XXIII.
* TagTeam: Myzteziz teamed as "Los Reyes del Aire" with Fénix, a ContinuityNod to the FanNickName for Místico's CMLL stable
* TheArtifact: The blue and yellow lights that accompany Sin Cara matches were originally supposed to match his ring gear - but his ring gear changed to red and white.
* TheVoiceless:
** Subverted. Sin Cara's voiceless most of the time due to his lack of English. When "Sin Cara" started talking it was the first hint that it was really an imposter, however there are a few exceptions:
** On WWE's Backstage Fallout that airs on Website/YouTube, he does speak in Spanish, and have Rey Mysterio translate for him.
** He finally sings in English in WWE's 2012 Christmas video.
* TimeToUnlockMoreTruePotential: In the middle of his CMLL World Welterweight title run, Místico travelled to China and participated in the second Beijing International Martial Arts Training Camp, getting training in Chinese shuaijiao from two time Beijing champion Yu Shaoyi and Qinna joint-locking techniques from Mike Martello, a martial artists from Belgium who organized the event, which was covered by Televisa during the Olympics.
* TournamentArc:
** Won the Michinoku Trios League of 2003 with Hayate and Yamabiko while he was filling in for Volador Jr's role as Komachi.
** The Torneo Gran Alternitiva is supposed to be how CMLL creates a BreakOutCharacter and CMLL Súper Viernes - Torneo Gran Alternativa 2004 indeed was Místico's StarMakingRole, especially the finals where he and El Hijo del Santo defeated Dr. X and Último Guerrero. Místico and Negro Casas would go on to win CMLL's Torneo De Parejas later that year.
** Toryumon México held a cibernetic tournament in 2005 called La Copia Sofia, which saw Místico outlast seven others, including Extreme Tiger and Wrestling/KazuchikaOkada.
** Defeated Atlantis in the finals of the 2006 Leyenda de Plata
** On the independent circuit, Místico and Negro Casas defeated Atlantis and El Averno in the final of the Torneo de Parejas Bajio 2007. In CMLL he successfully defended his Leyenda de Plata Champion status against Mr. Águila (who had earlier beaten El Sagrado) and defeated Último Guerrero and Euforia at the Torneo Gran Alternativa with Wrestling/LaSombra.
** For the third straight year he was champion of the Leyenda de Plata when he defeated Perro Aguayo Jr in 2008.
** Teamed with Negro Casas in AULLUWE's 2010 Función Benéfica por ImpactoTrofeo Bicentenario, where teams of enemies would compete against each other then compete against their partner once all others were eliminated. Místico defeated Negro Casas to win the whole thing.
** Myzteziz won the 2014 La Copa Antonio Peña at AAA Héroes Inmortales VIII, which was really more of a battle royal.
** Rey Misterio Jr. won AAA's 2015 Lucha Libre World Cup for himself, Myzteziz and El Patron Alberto by defeating Johnny Mundo in triple overtime after both teams teams wrestled to a time limit draw, Myzteziz wrestled Mr. Anderson to another draw and El Patron Alberto wrestled Wrestling/MattHardy to second draw.
* WeUsedToBeFriends:
** Místico was friends with Héctor Garza, but ended up being a primary of Los Perros Del Mal, a group Garza was ultimately responsible for the formation of as well as a member of. In between breaking up with Garza and feuding with Los Perros Del Mal Místico also ended up feuding with his other tag team partner, Negro Casas, who had formed La Peste Negra and taken the CMLL World Welterweight title from him.
** Volador Jr and Atlantis were among two of the first people to confront Místico after Averno had turned him into a rudo. When Místico gave up on the rudo philosophy, Averno then worked on and succeeded in turning Volador Jr into a rudo to ensure they would keep fighting.
* WrestlingFamily: The son of Dr. Karonte and temporarily wrestled as Dr. Karonte Jr. Two of his brothers worked as Astro boy and Astro boy II and he took over for the first one after his untimely death for a while. Another brother was Argenis, who felt Místico should have helped him get more opportunities in CMLL and another brother wrestles as Mini Karonte and Mini Murder Clown. His uncle Tony Salazar was also a wrestler, then became a ring announcer for CMLL and has two sons who wrestled as Astro Boy #2(then as Magnus) and Ulises Jr.
* WritingAroundTrademarks: Myzteziz, Mistic 2.0 and Carístico are all example of this. He claims to hold ownership of the Sin Cara gimmick but WWE's ArmyOfLawyers are something many promotions don't want to deal with regardless.
