Brett Giehl (born March 4, 1986) is an American {{professional wrestl|ing}}er from UsefulNotes/{{Rochester}}, known in the ring as Dalton Castle. He debuted in 2008 and wrestled for various Northeastern promotions.

After GEKIDO destroyed Darkness Crabtree and tore down ''Wrestling Is Intense'' on September 15, 2013 as part of The Flood's campaign of destroying all the ''Wrestling Is...'' promotions following the Wrestling/{{CHIKARA}} shutdown at Aniversario Never Compromise on June 2nd, it was [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDQ9YwJeosc&list=PLa8tfNTQY8q6KBvmuPkCYJqY-ZCrIidQu&index=1 revealed]] that Castle was Crabtree's "nephew." This led to Crabtree [[UnexpectedInheritance reinventing himself]] as wealthy wrestling yachtsman "Smooth Sailin'" Ashley Remington. He also debuted for Wrestling/RingOfHonor that same year and went on to wrestle for them consistently, going on to chase television champion Bobby Fish and feud with Wrestling/BulletClub.

Among his in-ring achievements, along with being a former ROH World Champion, he and Will Calrissian held the ESW Tag Team Championship as The Peacock Experience, he is a former International Wrestling Cartel World Heavyweight Champion and he and The Boys are two-time and current ROH World 6-Man Tag Team Champions.
----
!!"Smooth Sailin', Peacock Party Tropes":
* AgentPeacock: The [[RedBaron peacock party boy]] is a bit more [[VisualPun literal]] than most. Still, for all his flaunting Castle is a state champion in Greco Roman wrestling and competed in the world championships. And as much time as he spends getting his clothing tailored he spends even more on his cardio and core.
* AnimalMotifs: Peacocks. He has the feathers on his tights, and his under tights.
* ArchEnemy: Silas Young.
* AscendedFanboy: He first attended ROH shows as a fan watching Jerk Jackson, who would go on to become his rival Bobby Fish when Castle himself started wrestling for the promotion.
* BorrowedCatchphrase: The New York City crowd at Best in the World and the subsequent TV taping co-opted Jay Briscoe's "Man Up" chant for Castle, instead chanting "Fan Up."
* CheapPop: He's taken the fans The Boys usually use on him and given them to audience members.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Due to the relative success of his alter ego elsewhere, Remington's appearances in Chikara gradually tapered off until he vanished completely after the Challenge of the Immortals finished. He was finally removed from the roster in 2017.
* CutenessProximity: He lost it at the cat cafe in Tokyo, being overwhelmed by the sheer number of approachable friendly felines, and apparently has done it before in Pet Smart.
* DistaffCounterpart: Castle was accompanied by Las Vegas style showgirls instead of The Boys in Wrestling/{{TNA}}, leading to accusations of {{bowdleri|se}}zation, as his gimmick was otherwise unchanged.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Made a few appearances for the Wrestling Is promotions as Dalton Castle before adopting his Chikara specific Ashley Remington gimmick
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Bryce Remsburg was particularly smitten with him.
* GenderBlenderName: Ashley Remington is more commonly a woman's name in the twentieth century, with men usually being "Ashton".
* GoshDangItToHeck: What The Dickens!
* GroinAttack
** After Truth Martini threw his boys around and grabbed Dalton by the hair, Dalton grabbed him by the balls.
** His crotch suffered during his match with Silas Young at the 2015 Best In The World. While Young and the referee were arguing about this and Young cheating in general Castle gave Young a low blow.
** As of recently, he did it again, to both Dak Draper and Eli Isom in one episode of ROH TV. Bet that didn't see it coming!
* HopeSpot: He nearly defeated IWGP Heavyweight Champion Wrestling/KazuchikaOkada with the bangarang at the 2016 ''Death Before Dishonor'', but Dalton didn't want a count out victory, and that was his own downfall. Granted, the challenger doesn't win belts by count out.
* ICanStillFight: It wasn't mere TrashTalk when Wrestling/JayLethal tried to talk down Castle, who had gone into his title defense against Lethal injured and obviously could not win. The question being just how much Lethal would have to aggravate the injuries before the match was over.
* IdleRich: Ashley seemed to spend his time yachting, throwing parties, and occasionally wrestling. Justified, as it was inheritance money, so a smart investment and sporadic work could keep it sustainable.
* ImpossiblyCoolClothes: He enters the ring wearing an outfit with a cape that, when he grabs the edges and raises his arms, fans out to look like a pair of wings. It apparently it isn't easy to get on, as at a York Hall show The Boys had to help him get dressed when Castle lost track of time during the meet and greet.
* LargeHam: This is seemingly the main reason the boys carry those hand fans, to calm him back down when he really gets going. But Castle wasn't just an amateur wrestler, he also studied theater.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Dalton Wants It Now" by Adam Massacre, which is a [[InvokedTrope transparently]] SuspiciouslySimilarSong to "I Want It All" by Queen, which he also used before.
* PornStache: Not as prominent as Silas Young's, but it's to be expected with a "party boy" like Castle.
* MundaneMadeAwesome: His entrance alone gets chants of "This is awesome!".
* NiceGuy:
** Ashley is one of the few people money seemed to change for the better. He could give Jervis Cottonbelly a run for his money here. Unfailingly polite and courteous, as well. Described as having held a door open for everyone to enter the Palmer Center before You Only Live Twice for four hours straight. Gave his opponents fruit baskets after defeating them. Charmed Kodama by giving him a potted plant, which backfired on him when Kodama presented him with a present of his own...which prompted an In-Universe expression of pure Squick. Invited everyone to yacht parties after the shows. When locking up during a match, he immediately broke a hold when a referee started to count and informed them, "I break at one, my good man." Let Archibald Peck have a second chance at his finisher after the venue's low ceiling foiled Archie's first attempt. Despite Peck falling short of the mark with a flying headbutt, Remington then moved closer and draped Archie's arm over himself for a two count.
** In Ring Of Honor the general atmosphere steadily ate away at Castle's nice guy tendencies. He almost ended his friendship with Bobby Fish, and canceled a fan invited brunch, over Fish's insinuation that he wasn't championship material. He became much less courteous after losing The Boys to Silas Young and a lot more aggressive after being screwed out of title matches by Bullet Club. Castle mellowed out a little after he won the world title belt however.
* OneSteveLimit: Cross-gender example. Ashley Remington had stopped appearing in CHIKARA by the time Ashley Vox arrived.
* PartsUnknown: Ashley Remington was billed from "The Open Waters." Even if he was living on his boat, bodies of water still have names.
* PersonalMook: He has two, his 'boys', who escort him into the arena, act as stepping stones for him to get into the ring, help him remove his costume, and occasionally act as a couch for him to recline on. Silas Young offered to become a third "boy" on the stipulation Castle would release them should Young win in a match. Young won but The Boys found their way back to Castle by the end of the year. He later upgraded to four in promos, and had many more for his entrances in Las Vegas, though mainly sticks to two at ringside. He eventually won the ROH Six Man Tag belts with these main two in two different occasions, one against [[Wrestling/TheDudleyBoys Bully Ray]] and Wrestling/TheBriscoes, and then against The Righteous (Vincent, Bateman and Dutch).
* RedBaron: "Peacock Party Boy" as Dalton Castle, "Smooth Sailin'" as Ashley Remington.
* SunglassesAtNight: Ashley having shades is justified by him a boat captain. Wearing them after sunset or indoors is not, except to help remind everyone he is a boat captain.
* StockCostumeTraits: As Ashley Remington, he wears an ascot, sunglasses, and a skipper’s cap to make it clear he’s a yacht captain.
* TagTeam:
** The Peacock Experience/The Peacock Express with Will Calrissian
** The Afterparty, with Cecil Nyx
** Battle Hive, with Amasis and Fire Ant and Worker Ant in the CHIKARA Challenge of the Immortals tournament.
* WhatTheHellHero: The reaction of the fans and almost everyone else when he turned heel on The Boys.
* WrestlingFamily: Darkness Crabtree's nephew, as revealed in the "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDQ9YwJeosc Rough Waters]]" video series archived on youtube.
