Lindsey Kerecz (born January 1, 1984) is an American {{Professional Wrestl|ing}}er, manager and attorney from Providence, Rhode Island as Veda Scott. She debuted in 2011 after training under [[Wrestling/HunterJohnston Delirious]] and Wrestling/DaizeeHaze in various New England independents. She is best known for her work for Wrestling/RingOfHonor.

Along with her AIW Women's Title run, she is a former [[https://www.cagematch.net//?id=5&nr=612 AIW Tag Team Champion]] with Gregory Iron as Hope and Change, she was the inaugural [[https://www.cagematch.net//?id=5&nr=2695 Inspire Pro XX Division Champion]], she was the last-ever [[https://www.cagematch.net//?id=5&nr=1711 FWE Women's Champion]] and a former [[https://www.cagematch.net//?id=5&nr=2557 Legacy Wrestling Women's Champion]].

!! "It's Veda Trope"
* AmoralAttorney: Initially averted, as Scott took the "honor" in women of honor to heart and called out Wrestling/{{MsChif}} when she stopped living up to that standard. But as time went on Veda became a sneaky, shortcut taking loophole abusing worm. She's familiar with all the state commissions! She's also taken on openly evil clients, such as Steve Corino.
* BaitAndSwitch: During the 2012 ''ACW American Joshi Queen Of Queens'' tournament, Scott called upon her ROH experiences by...interviewing Wrestling/ChristinaVonEerie. Scott still lost but did throw Von Eerie off her game.
* BattleCouple: With "Speedball" Mike Bailey.
* BoisterousWeakling: Pretty frequently writes checks with her smack talk that her body can't cash - a lot of her wins come from cheating or interference, and most of her losses are her being defeated pretty definitively.
* BullyingADragon: She repeatedly struck [[Wrestling/QuinnOjinnaka Moose]] for shaking Wrestling/RoderickStrong's hand after losing to him, to the point Moose was ready to level her. Scott ''was'' saved by Cedric Alexander but she had no idea he was coming and after he hit Stokely Hathaway was relieved when he didn't hit her too but merely returned her wrench.
* CheapHeat: It's one thing to go into a town and insult it. Part of her [[HammyHerald introduction]] at Beyond Wrestling events in Providence, RI included her being announced as the "ONLY good thing" to ever come out of Providence.
* {{Cosplay}}: As Queen Beryl from ''Franchise/SailorMoon'' in [[https://twitter.com/itsvedatime/status/1111261217987969025 this picture]].
* CowardlyLion: Much less competitive and much more skittish than her mentor, Daizee Haze, but becomes her mirror image when properly motivated. Even she was surprised when Ian Riccaboni pointed out that coming into the first show dedicated to it Scott had the best WOH record after Kelly Klein.
* DamselInDistress: She got taken hostage by S.C.U.M. for a short while in one episode.
* DefeatedandTrophified: Was once completely dominated in a match by Jordynne Grace, to the point that after being pinning her, Jordynne carried Veda over her shoulder around the ring as a trophy to establish who the better woman was.
* DirtyCoward: She was the referee for a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1iJBxKoZIA match]] between Skylar Marie and Luscious Latasha. Late in the match, Skylar got an inside cradle and Veda counted to two...and stopped, claiming she had hurt her wrist. Sometime later, Skylar got Latasha in an inverted [=STF=][[note]]Aka the [[Wrestling/KeijiMutoh Muta Lock]], or Wrestling/{{Melina}}'s California Dreams.[[/note]], and Veda kicked Skylar to break the hold, claiming she "tripped." Latasha won with a leg lariat.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Scott has no love for Wrestling/{{Candice LeRae}}, but even she was yelling at Todd Sinclair for letting BJ Whitmer back suplex [=LeRae=] on the ring apron.
* EvilRedhead: Wasn't evil at first, just cowardly, [[Film/ThePhantomMenace but fear is the path to the dark side]].
* FauxAffablyEvil: During her match on the first WOH show she grabbed a microphone to wish Jenny Rose well her on up coming return to the Japanese Diana promotion, and then buried the mic in Rose's face.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: She started out as a backstage interviewer and announcer who slowly moved up to actually wrestling, and eventually became a manager.
* GroinAttack: Infamously turned on Evans by punching him in the dick just before Moose speared him.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: Most prominently with Moose.
* KindheartedCatLover: Her social media is filled with pictures of her pat cat, Ted.
* MinidressofPower: Favors short skirts when she's wrestling (mostly for fashion, as they don't provide any coverage), and tight dresses when she is managing/doing commentary.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: When ROH announced its own official women's division was starting in 2015 Scott announced she was going to drop everyone they signed for it on their head. When this drew a predictable negative response from the locker room, Scott tried to sweet talk her way out of confrontations or, when necessary, flee from them...but she never gave up on that goal and would scream from the proverbial mountain top every time she was successful with a head dumping.
* PerkyFemaleMinion: Formerly to R.D. Evans, then to Moose, then to Cedric Alexander.
* PyrrhicVictory: Team Scott won in the main event of ''NOVA Pro: Eleventh Dimension'', seizing momentum after team Jackon's ace Mia Yim was injured, but that came at the cost of a mutual injury to Sahara [=Se7en=]. Furthermore, Scott's contribution's to her team's numerical advantage, which involved stealing Jordynne Grace's dumbbell bottle and beating team Jackson with it, along with Scott's usual cowardice, pissed off Allie Kat, who did a HeelFaceTurn in the middle of the match and didn't lift a finger to stop the elimination of her "team captain". Yeah, Team Scott won, but Scott came out worse in the long run concerning her feud with Faye Jackson and general NOVA career.
* TheRuntAtTheEnd: She was the smallest of Moose's various managers in Ring of Honor.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: As a manager, she'd sometimes pay off wrestlers to let one of her charges take the match instead.
* ShoutOut
** Her Website/{{Twitter}} handle [[http://twitter.com/itsvedatime itsvedatime]] is one to Wrestling/{{Vader}}'s {{CatchPhrase}}.
** For the four on four elimination tag match at ''NOVA Pro: Eleventh Dimension'', Scott had her team come out like Wrestling/BillGoldberg, with Scott herself going through as much of his "routine" as she could pull off.
* SignatureMove: Crucifix DDT, Jumping Clothesline
* SmugSnake: She does commentary on her own matches, sometimes while they're still taking place, prematurely declaring herself the winner.
* TagTeam:
** Hope And Change, with Gregory Irons
** Pop Culture, with Jason Cade
** Sci Fi with Aja Perera
* TournamentArc: Defeated [[Wrestling/EmberMoon Athena]] and Jessica James in a [[MeleeATrois Triple Threat Match]] to become the inaugural Inspire Pro XX Division Champion at ''Inspire Pro In Their Blood II'' on May 31, 2015.
* UseYourHead: Sometimes uses headbutts, even when her opponents are fellow hard headed women like Wrestling/MandyLeon and Wrestling/SoloDarling.
* WearingAFlagOnYourHead: She's decked out in an American Flag in [[https://www.instagram.com/p/BrNMAxEhunD/ this picture]] from her Instagram.
* WorthyOpponent: Wrestling/SumieSakai's return resulted in a loss for Scott but when she got an unexpected rematch due to Cherry Bomb's injury, Veda was uncharacteristically, if reluctantly, cordial.
