3	First airing in 1984, this is either considered the second season of ''WesternAnimation/TheNewScoobyAndScrappyDooShow'' or the next series following it. Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne and Scrappy still make up the gang. But here, Fred and Velma make occasional appearances either together or solo.

5	The episodes follow pretty much the same format as the previous. There were 11-minute mysteries or a two-part episode.

8	* AccidentalHero: "A Night Louse at the White House" has Scooby's parents, Dada Doo and Mumsy Doo, accidentally incapacitate the episode's criminals by dropping Scooby's galoshes on their heads.
9	* AllPartOfTheShow: In "The Nutcracker Scooby", Mr. Nickleby disrupts the orphanage's Christmas pageant by storming onto the stage and tackling Fred trying to find a priceless emerald, believing it to be in Fred's nutcracker costume, which causes Scooby, Shaggy, and Scrappy to go flying and Nickleby's cat Snowball to get stuck in a rafter. After the chaos is resolved, the audience applauds like it all had been just part of the year's play. Then a ghostly figure runs away with an antique nutcracker (where the emerald ''actually'' is) and the audience still doesn't cotton on to the fact that something is wrong, with some audience members even laughing.
10	* AgelessBirthdayEpisode: "Happy Birthday, Scooby-Doo" is about Scooby's birthday and has no indication of how old he is now.
11	* ArtShift: "A Code in the Nose" through "The Nutcracker Scoob" used Hanna-Barbera's pioneering, but primitive, digital ink and paint system instead of the traditional method of shooting physically painted cels onto 35mm film. The downside, of course, is that these segments only exist in standard definition.
12	* TheBadGuyWins: In "A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle“ although Chandra is defeated, Igor is commended for his work of scaring the other monsters. 13	* BadIsGoodAndGoodIsBad: In "A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle", Igor turns out to have disguised himself as Van Helsing's ghost to scare the other monsters out of the castle so he'd never have to clean messes again. Being monsters, the others not only are not mad at Igor for his underhandedness, but even commend him for being so mean to them.
14	* BewitchedAmphibians: Chandra attempts to turn Mystery Inc. into toads, but the spell ends up hitting her instead. And since she fretted that her magic was lost forever, one can only assume [[ForcedTransformation she's stuck in that form for the rest of her life]].
15	* TheBusCameBack: While only as guest stars, Fred and Velma appeared in several episodes in this series after being absent from the franchise since ''WesternAnimation/TheScoobyDooAndScrappyDooShow''. Fred became a mystery writer and Velma a NASA intern in their time away.
16	* ButtMonkey: Pizza Louie's pizza delivery to the gang is repeatedly foiled by the Hand in "The Hand of Horror". The guy is a {{Determinator}}.
