!!This show contains the following tropes:

%%* AnIcePerson: Cold Snap’s power.
%%* AnimalLover: Wren.
%%* AnimalThemedSuperbeing: Wren.
%%* Animorphism: Wren’s power.
* ArtisticLicensePaleontology: Why would a professional paleontologist allow kids to work on a real digsite? Also, why is she moving artifacts from the museum's archaeology department?
* ArtShift: Mr. Ernesto's mission briefings are animated in an 8-Bit style reminiscent of classic video games. The "A Netflix Original Series" title card uses the same style.
* BarrierWarrior: One of Clay’s powers allows him to create spherical forcefields he calls “invinci-balls”.
%%* ChristmasEpisode: “The Action Pack Saves Christmas”
* ComboPlatterPowers: Clay can shapeshift… and create spherical forcefields he calls “invinci-balls”. Oh and he has XRayVision too.
* Continuity: Surprisingly for a preschool show, there are tightly-knit story arcs and CharacterDevelopment that actually sticks, such as Cold Snap's reform.
%%* CoolCar: The Mega Van.
%%* CoolPlane: The Mega Plane.
%%* CoolTeacher: Mr. Ernesto, who is encouraging and prefers morals and good values to trophies.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: The "Fizzles", a disease that can be spread when you get close to an infected person, which quickly takes over the town. Based on the time the show was produced, only one thing comes to mind.
* ExploitingTheFourthWall: In the Christmas special, Mr. Ernesto leans over the barrier of a SplitScreenPhoneCall.
* ExpressiveAccessory: The ears on Wren's hoodie droop when she is sad.
* FastAsLightning: Watts can use his electric powers for SuperSpeed.
* FiveTokenBand: Watts is JewishHe is revealed to celebrate Hanukkah in the Christmas special, Treena is African-American, Wren is Hispanic, Clay is Indian, and Mr. Ernesto is Black/Hispanic.
* GeniusBonus: Some of the punny names aren't obvious at first. For example, Rom, the boy with technology powers, gets his name from "read-only memory".
%%* GreenThumb: Treena’s power.
%%* KidHero: The kids and a lot of the children of the town are this.
%%* MishmashMuseum: Although specifically described as a "Natural History Museum", the town museum also has an exhibit on ancient superheroes.
* Objectshifting: Clay has the ability to turn into inanimate objects. Supposedly this is an extension of his RubberMan powers, but that doesn’t explain how he can transform into things like electrical devices that work.
%%* PungeonMaster: Most of the characters make puns based on their superpowers/themes.
%%* PunnyName: Almost everyone has a name fitting with their powers, personality and/or occupation.
