The Virtual Barber Shop is a series of ASMR videos by a channel by the name of Listening Point on Website/YouTube, dedicated to ASMR haircuts. Each video usually follows a pattern: Manwell, the owner of the shop, greets the customer, the viewer, before introducing the person giving the haircut (save for a few cases where he'll give the hair cut himself). However, the majority of the videos also have the barber of the video interacting with Manwell (sometimes other people as well).

!!This channel provides examples of:

* AffablyEvil: "Mister Jay" cuts the listener's hair in one video, doing so because he lost a bet with Bane. Interestingly, the one that visits isn't the Heath Ledger one (who is from the same universe as Bane), but rather, the Creator/MarkHamill onetechnically, the two do know each other, since both Bane and the Joker do appear in VideoGame/BatmanArkhamAsylum; however, the Bane here is closest to the one portrayed by Creator/TomHardy (as evident by his usage of lines from Baneposting), who never met the Joker in the Nolan films; the one in Asylum is more akin to the classic one from ComicBook/Knightfall.
* AsHimself: Nate, who voices Manwell, has also portrayed himself a few times.
* BlatantLies: Bane claims the viewer will pay good money for the hair cut he gives them in his first appearance. Which won't happen unless the user donates on Patreon.
* CaptainErsatz: Manwell is one to, well, Manuel from the original Virtual Barber Shop video. So far, no word on if Luigi from the same video has a counterpart in this series.
* CharacterDevelopment: Bane (yes, THAT Bane) goes from psychotic to rather friendly over the course of the 3 videos.
* ComicBookMoviesDontUseCodenames: Er, not a comic book movie, but still. Averted in Bane's casewhile his name in comics canon is Eduardo Dorrance, The Dark Knight Rises only calls him "Bane", but played straight for the case of "Mister Jay" and "Holly".
* DistaffCounterpart: Manwella, Manwell's sister.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Initially, the spelling of Manwell's name was spelled as "Manuel". It eventually settled on the current spelling, possibly because people assumed it was the same Manuel from the video that ins.
** In canon, the reason Manwell's name is such is when asked to name Manwell, his father started to think of a name, and said "Man, well...", trying to think of a name, which the person recording his name on the birth certificate assumed was the name he was giving him.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Bane dislikes the style of men cutting hair short on the sides and leaving the hair on top long, calling it the 21st century equivalent of the mullet.
* ExactWords: "Mister Jay" agreed to do a haircut, but since the wording of the bet only stated that he had to do a haircut, not cut all the listener's hair, so he only snips one strand of hair on the listener's head.
* FirstNameBasis: All the videos that refer to the barber of week by their name use this trope (. Heck, Manwell also falls under this trope.
* InnBetweenTheWorlds: So far, three Franchise/Batman villains, Ulfberth, GLaDOSalthough Manwell calls her "Gladys", likely due to him mishearing her name, and Elmo have appeared and given at least 1 hair cut each. It's either this trope or Manwell is a DimensionalTraveler...or both.
* LandDownunder: Cooper, who not only has the accent, but also has the image on his 2 videoes upside down.
* NonSpecificallyForeign: It's never stated what country Manwell is from, only that he's not American. It's been hinted that he's European - while how his name is pronounced seems to indicate that he's Spanish, the unusual spelling of his name, combined with the fact that his accent sounds both French and Spanish (and he is only shown to be able to speak English), doesn't really give any clear indication.
* NoodleIncident: The bet "Mister Jay" lost.
** invokedApparently this incarnation of Bane had a mullet in 1992given that he explicitly states 1992, not 1993, it can't be a TakeThat towards Superman's infamous mullet, which he views as an OldShame.
* ShoutOut: Quite a few.
** It's implied that Maxim (who is stated to be Russian) is related to Creator/FPSRussia.
** Big Lou mentions the ComicBook/GreenLantern oath. Also somewhat crosses over with BeethovenWasAnAlienSpy, as it he somewhat implies he was a Green Lantern.
* TheStoner: Mike.
* TheTease: Clarise, in the flirty sense.
* UnusualEuphemism: Bane says that, as a result of winning his bet with "Mister Jay", he had two choices: either "Mister Jay" would come into the Virtual Barber Shop and cut the listener's hair, or Bane would "get to ride Jay's Harley""Harley" also being part of the name "Harley-Davidson", a company that makes motorcycles. Bane somewhat regrets not choosing the latter.
