CJ [=DaChamp=] is a Platform/{{YouTube}}r (Formerly a Platform/TikTok user) focused on anime. His videos generally take the form of listing "Disrespectful Moments in Anime History", which is where a character proves to be TheDreaded or shows off their power. Those who prove themselves capably menacing enough get added to the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity, reserved only for CJ's favorite characters.

In October 26, 2023, he also begun another series, The Asylum, which is focused on characters who... Aren't quite all there, either in terms of insanity, psychopathy, or just pure weirdness. Or in CJ's words, "cuckoo-kaka ass niggas, niggas that got some screws loose in their heads".

His main channel passed over one million subscribers in May 2022. It can be found [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDZH6sjXpWd1k9kJyXJZn9g here]]. 57!!It's time for Exhibit A: Listing All the Tropes.
* ApatheticCitizens: Discussed in "Ryuga: The Undisputed GOAT" during Ryuga and Kyoya's match in Battle Bladers, with SpectatorCasualty surprisingly being subverted throughout ''Anime/BeybladeMetalFusion'', as CJ's surprised that there's still an entire audience to watch Ryuga's battles where "literal mortar strikes" are constantly going off and obliterating the whole stadium, not to mention Ryuga's soul-stealing brutality to his opponents.
-->'''CJ:''' And look at Kyoya just getting blown the fuck up while they're just cheering in the background like "YEAAAAAAAAAH!" ''(Laughing)'' Like if you really think about it, these motherfuckers are sick. They're out watching twelve year-old kids have a death match!
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: Courtesy of his introduction of the Vikings in ''Manga/VinlandSaga'', he begins by listing off their deeds:
-->'''CJ:''' War. Violence. Brutality. Pillaging. Killing. Taking booty. And eating this large piece of meat! With absolutely NO AMOUNT OF SEASONING!
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: The Round Table of Black Air Force Activity is reserved only for people who have displayed the traits of a NoNonsenseNemesis or have proven themselves to be sufficiently badass or [[TheDreaded terrorizing to their enemies]].
* AuthorAppeal:
** At least 90% of the reaction images, gifs, and scene transitions in CJ's videos come from ''WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants''.
** What CJ calls "menaces", which is when someone acts like a NoNonsenseNemesis or proves to be TheDreaded and decimates their enemies. It's usually enough to get someone added to the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity if they do it often enough.
** Displays of SuperStrength, authority, or a lot of power appeal to CJ quite a bit. This can range from [[Manga/HighschoolOfTheDead Takashi Komuro giving Rei Miyamoto]] a BitchSlap to [[Anime/DragonBallZ Majin Buu]]'s Human Extinction Attack wiping out all of Earth's population.
** Shows of UndyingLoyalty are usually enough to earn CJ's praises. In ''Manga/TokyoRevengers'', people pulling up to help out Takemichi has CJ admire the "ride or die" attitude of the crew.
** GoodOldFisticuffs being used to give someone a beatdown. While anything that gets someone declared a menace is a good move, CJ likes it more when it's ordinary people using their bare hands. It's why CJ declared ''Manga/TokyoRevengers'' to be "Black Air Force Energy: The Anime", because the fights in that series are nothing but physical brawls between ordinary people.
** Due to [[Anime/AfroSamurai Afro]] being voiced by Creator/SamuelLJackson, CJ was already eager to put him on the Round Table before his trial even started.
* AxCrazy: Plenty of the people in on the round table could qualify, however the Asylum was created specifically for people that are too insane.
* BadassBoast: [[Anime/BeybladeMetalFusion Ryuga]] delivers one chained with a ClusterFBomb in Exhibit B (covering ''Metal Masters'') when he's about to shoot down Hades City.
-->'''Ryuga:''' Fuck you, fuck your city, fuck your nuke, and fuck [[Manga/OnePiece Skypeia]], because ''I'm about to make this bitch {{Atlantis}}.''
* BerserkButton:
** During his video on [[Literature/TheMisfitOfDemonKingAcademy Anos Voldigoad]], CJ is ''appalled'' by Emilia's actions to get back at Anos, being one of the few times he was genuinely disgusted by a character's actions (That didn't have to do with rape), and considering Anos' beatdown of her extremely satisfying.
--->'''CJ:''' So she decided to commit one of the most despicable acts a human could ever commit. Something so immoral that it would have ME boxing: '''Going after another man's mother.''' SHAWTY DECIDED TO RUN UP ON THIS MAN'S MAMA!\
''(Cue a clip of Emilia attacking Izabella)''\
'''CJ:''' No, this is the lowest you could ever fall! If you ever do this to my mama, I'm Ja Morant-ing your ass!
** HonorBeforeReason if it results in death seems to be another. He calls out Katsumi for his stupidity letting himself die so that way Pickle would enjoy the fight, since he's bleeding out.
** [[ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy An incapability to hit your targets]]. As seen in his video on Anime/MarsOfDestruction, almost half of it was dedicated to how one of the characters can't aim for shit as CJ just couldn't let go of it.
** [[ParentalNeglect Willfully absent]] or AbusiveParents, while not a topic that often comes up in his videos, CJ makes it no secret how fed up he is with [[Manga/JujutsuKaisen Toji Fushiguro's]] treatment of his son (or rather lack there of), taking several potshots at the man when not talking about his impressive feats. It gets to a point where when Toji forgets the name of his ''only'' son, CJ is flabbergasted.
** PlotArmor being used as a crutch to keep villains away from victory, at least for villains he's grown really attached to. CJ becomes furious when Ryuga's legendary winning streak, one that got him hyping up the Dragon Emperor like crazy, is broken not by a genuinely strong and/or skilled opponent (Tsubasa and Kyoya put up good fights earlier, which CJ acknowledges and respects), but by the heroes supercharging Gingka's Bey with ThePowerOfFriendship. He outright calls Ryuga's loss a robbery.
* BeyondTheImpossible: [[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks Colonel H. Stinkmeaner]] is the first (and so far, ''only'') character CJ's covered that has an Exhibit D, which is described as "the territory where legends are made."
* BigBad: [[Anime/DragonBallZ Majin Buu]] (in his Kid Buu form) leads the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity, being in possession of the first seat as the biggest menace in anime history. In a video on Buu, CJ explains that the reason he gives Buu the head seat of the table is because Buu wiped out all of humanity easily, and then broke into the afterlife just to keep beating people up. CJ comments that he doubts anyone is ever going to top that in terms of being a menace to society.
* BileFascination: InUniverse, with the "So I Watched" series, where CJ checked out media such as ''Manga/ExArm'', ''Anime/RedoOfHealer'', ''Manga/DontToyWithMeMissNagatoro'', and the ''Anime/MarsOfDestruction'' OVA after hearing about either awful reviews or controversy about a series, usually believing [[TemptingFate it can't be that bad]], wanting to give a fair chance. Almost each episode so far, he's been proven ''wrong''. With the exception of ''Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro'', as his only critique was Senpai [[ExtremeDoormat letting himself be pushed around to an absurd degree]] and being a LoserProtagonist.
* BreakTheHaughty: While members of the Round Table of Black Air Force Energy are expected to kick ass and be disrespectful, Z-Broly gets a particular case on where his energy was so big, it made Vegeta, a fellow member of the Round Table, a bitch, which then gets CJ to threaten booting Vegeta off the council for his breakdown, only not doing so due to the film being non-canon.
* BrokeTheRatingScale: In the video discussing [[Manga/JujutsuKaisen Sukuna]], CJ's new ranking system ends up giving him [[RankInflation an S++ rank]], mostly due to the Domain Expansion mass murder.
** While discussing [[Manga/JujutsuKaisen Mahito]]'s ranking for the Asylum, Mahito outright maxes out the ten-level Sanity Meter after kicking off the Shibuya Incident, causing any further diabolical actions he performs from there on out to grant him an extra bonus star. By the end of the video, he's left with 8 bonus stars on top of his level 10 meter.
* CallForward: During his 6th Disrespectful Moments in Anime History video, CJ is dubbing over when [[Manga/{{Naruto}} Itachi beat the brakes off of Sasuke]], as this mental line happens on the side:
-->'''Jiraiya:''' Damn. Hmph, couldn't be me. [[TemptingFate You gonna have to get six niggas to jump me.]] ''(Cue an overlay of the Six Paths of Pain appearing, as their theme [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCfiqY05BpA Girei]] briefly plays)''
* CallingYourAttacks: When making a video on [[Manga/BakiTheGrappler Pickle the Caveman]], all of Pickle's attacks feature some form of the phrase "Ooga Booga" in them, such as the Ooga Booga Uppercut and the Ooga Booga Slap.
* CardboardBoxHome: CJ ends up in one of these in-universe because his new Round Table of Black Air Force Activity set wasn't finished for his video on Bradley from ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist''. As a result, he ends up going through Bradley's exhibits while on the side of a road, asking for spare change.
* CharacterCatchphrase: "Alright, ladies and gentlemen." CJ almost always says this right before getting to an exhibit for people looking to get into the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity. He also drops it through the reviews, too.
* ComicalOverreacting: Part of CJ's schtick is to be as unsubtle as possible about practically anything he reviews, going so far as to declare the tractor from ''Literature/KonoSuba'' one of the most savage entities in the multiverse in the Truck-kun video because it frightened the isekai protagonist to death. His review of ''Manga/ExArm'' eventually devolved into CJ stopping practically every scene mid-action in order to either break down laughing or rant at the show's stupidity. And back when he was on ''[=TikTok=]'', he had ''a lot'' more of these moments to describe things.
* CurbStompBattle: '''Everywhere,''' given the focus of his channel. It is a '''literal''' [[AsskickingLeadsToLeadership requirement]] for any character to give these out like candy if they're to be counted worthy of being added to the roundtable. With [[Anime/DragonBallZ Buu,]] [[Manga/{{Naruto}} Madara,]] and [[Manga/{{Boruto}} Isshiki]] being some of the worst offenders of this trope.
* DamnItFeelsGoodToBeAGangster: In every mid-review overdubbing, every character is presented like they're the lead in a GangstaRap song. Alcohol, guns, and getting laid are presented as universal goals for everyone.
* DarkerAndEdgier: In a more emotional note in his review of ''Manga/ToYourEternity'', where he makes sure to note how much of a TearJerker the show has been so far while doing his typical synopsis.
* TheDragon: [[Characters/NarutoMadaraUchiha Madara Uchiha]] has the title of Vice-President at the Table of Black Air Force Activity.
* TheDreaded: {{Discussed}}. According to CJ, Black Air Force Energy is when someone shows no respect for their opponents or engages in a CurbStompBattle against people who stand in their way. As such, CJ likes it when characters strike fear into the hearts of ordinary people.
* EasilyForgiven: Hard subverted in the case of [[Manga/{{Inuyashiki}} Hiro Shishigami]], as his video ends off on CJ recapping his final thoughts and actions which ultimately lead to a RedemptionEqualsDeath case as he dies to save the world from an asteroid... But CJ isn't so easily convinced:
-->'''CJ:''' But uh... This nigga out here really trying to have redeeming qualities! Nah, fuck that, nigga, you killed a fucking BABY!
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: CJ says that going after someone's mama to settle a feud is "one of the most despicable acts a human could ever commit" in his video on [[Literature/TheMisfitOfDemonKingAcademy Anos Voldigoad]]. When Emilia goes after Anos' mom, CJ says that it's "the lowest you could ever fall", and argues that Emilia was an AssholeVictim when she got curbstomped by Anos. Meanwhile, during his video on [[Manga/{{Inuyashiki}} Hiro Shishigami]], CJ feels ''horrible'' for the reaction of Hiro's mother when she learns he's a horrifying serial killer.
-->'''CJ:''' And look at his mama, bro, she is DEVASTATED! God, my nigga, WHY?! Making your mama cry like this is criminal!
* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** Parodied. One of the reasons Zamasu hates mortals, later repeated when he becomes Goku Black, is that they'll pay $29.99 for one woman's [=OnlyFans=] when free porn already exists on the internet. Future Zamasu is also sickened at the way people try to cancel [[WebVideo/MrBeast MrBeast]] every time he does something remotely good. [[{{Hypocrite}} Never mind that]] their [[FinalSolution Zero Mortals Plan]] would kill [=MrBeast=] as well.
** The Round Table of Black Air Force Energy itself goes into this with how Pickle the Caveman is handled, as the sheer level of violation he committed throughout his arc, chief among them being constantly eating people's body parts, violating a reporter live on ''national television'', and '''''killing Truck-Kun'''''. After just how savage Pickle's been throughout the arc, he's kept locked up 24/7 to avoid any further cannibalism.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Lampshaded in two instances:
** During the video on [[Manga/BakiTheGrappler Yujiro Hanma]], he says to Baki's mother that he might "break [her] back so goddamn hard, it might kill [her] one day". The video pauses, and the word "FORESHADOWING" leaps towards the screen with a siren. Later on, Yujiro kills her by breaking her back.
** In the video covering ''Manga/VinlandSaga'', CJ claimed that Thorfinn was the "[[TemptingFate peaceful, innocent, unproblematic son]]" of Thors, "[[SarcasmMode who will clearly]] '''NOT''' become a danger to society [[TeensAreMonsters in his teenage years]]". A sound effect from ''VideoGame/AmongUs'' plays as "FORESHADOWING" fades onto the screen after he says this. Sure enough, Thorfinn grows up to be a revenge-obsessed OneManArmy.
* FormerlyFat: CJ himself. His motivation for getting quite the muscular build later on in life?
--> "I wanted to look like [[Characters/DragonBallSonGoku this guy]], [[Characters/OnePunchManSaitama this guy]] and [[Characters/BakiTheGrapplerTheHanmaFamily this guy]]!"
* FormulaBreakingEpisode:
** In relation to his usual videos for recruiting people into the Round Table, some of them only have two exhibits and not three, which can be due to multiple reasons:
*** [[Anime/DragonBallZ Z Broly]], due to CJ only working with [[Anime/DragonBallZBrolyTheLegendarySuperSaiyan two]] [[Anime/DragonBallZBrolySecondComing films]] and refusing to even touch [[Anime/DragonBallZBioBroly Bio Broly]].
*** [[Manga/TokyoRevengers Mikey and Draken]], who became part of the Round Table simply for the show they're from being considered "Black Air Force Energy: The Anime", despite the Season 1 summary being a two-parter (Part 1 is considered Exhibit A and Part 2 is considered Exhibit B). He also vehemently [[https://twitter.com/CjDaChamp/status/1781397587657994432 refuses to make any followup videos]] because of how bad the series got afterwards.
*** [[Characters/BlackLagoonTheLovelaceHousehold Roberta]], who only shows up in two arcs of the ''Black Lagoon'' story.
*** [[Characters/JoJosBizarreAdventureDIO DIO]], whose video only covers [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventurePhantomBlood Part 1]] and [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders Part 3]] (with bits of [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureGoldenWind Parts 5]] [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStoneOcean and 6]]), since Part 6 (and thus Dio's [[VillainousLegacy full]] [[GreaterScopeVillain influence]]) hadn't been fully adapted to the anime at the time.
*** [[Anime/AfroSamurai Afro]], whose Exhibit A encompasses the entire anime and also lands him in the Roundtable early on, with Exhibit B being considered more of a bonus exhibit after Afro got in early, which focuses on his actions in the sequel movie ''Afro Samurai: Resurrection'' (particularly the leadup to and his duel with Shichigoro).
** "THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL MOMENTS IN ANIME HISTORY" is usually a series focusing on various moments throughout various anime. However, the second episode is ''entirely'' focused on [[Manga/BakiTheGrappler Yujiro Hanma]] and almost all of his screen time up to the time the video was posted, taking up this format as CJ wasn't able to use the typical exhibit-based format he uses for his other Round Table recruitment videos, due to just how much insane shit Yujiro has done throughout the series.
** In an inversion to the Yujiro example, [[Manga/TheSevenDeadlySins Escanor]]'s video is considered to be the fourth episode of "THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL MOMENTS IN ANIME HISTORY", despite it being titled and formatted as if it were a regular Round Table recruitment.
** His video on [[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks Colonel H. Stinkmeaner]] serves as this, as compared to other character analysis videos getting three exhibits, Stinkmeaner not only gets '''four''' of them (with the rare Exhibit D, rather than a special case Exhibit S like with Battle Beast for Omni-Man's video), but oddly enough, we aren't shown CJ adding him to the Round Table at the end of the trial. (Turns out this was because [[https://twitter.com/CjDaChamp/status/1683911993982345224?s=20 CJ forgot to add him, and re-add Drakken, Truck-Kun, and Battle Beast to the table]])
** The ''Manga/VinlandSaga'' video not only forgoes the "Exhibits" format, acting somewhat more like a recap similar to the ''Tokyo Revengers'' videos where it's a pseudo-summary of the story so far, but also focuses not just on one character, but four (those being Thors, Thorfinn, Askeladd, and Thorkell).
** The video on [[Manga/BakiTheGrappler Pickle the Caveman]], similar to Yujiro's entry, has Pickle doing ''so much insane shit'' that CJ cannot use a Disrespectful Moments ''or'' normal trial process. Instead, he has it all labeled under a special trial, "Exhibit P", and it's categorized by each of the victims that Pickle has decimated and/or violated in the anime at the time of the video rather than normal exhibits. Similarly, [[Manga/{{Inuyashiki}} Hiro Shishigami]]'s video acts like this but on a grander scale (Going from single-target incidents to full on multi-kill serial killer incidents), covering his whole story throughout ''Inuyashiki'' and being divided by all the murder incidents he was behind.
** [[Anime/BeybladeMetalFusion Ryuga]]'s video... Or rather video''s'', is set up as a two-parter, with the first episode not only giving us an introduction for the insane world of ''Beyblade'' but also covering just how many violations Ryuga had performed in just ''Metal Fusion'', the first season of his series, for Exhibit A, with the second episode covering Exhibits B and C for his roles in ''Metal Masters'' and ''Metal Fury'' respectively.
* TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou: The evilest thing Madara Uchiha ever did, according to CJ, was one that "actually affected us, in the outside world." The [[LotusEaterMachine Infinite Tsukuyomi]] (Madara's ultimate goal) was so all-encompassing that its influence leaked into the show itself once he finally cast the jutsu. The manga kept it simple by dedicating a single chapter to showing the characters' idealized dream worlds, keeping it to one page per character. The anime, on the other hand, expanded those ideas into several episodes' worth of content ''each''. The end result?
--> "'''Look at all this shit!''' ''(shows an episode list spanning '''several months''')'' Man put us in half a year worth of filler, 'cause he ''felt'' like it."
* GaiasVengeance: How he describes [[Characters/DragonBallUniverse11 Toppo in his God of Destruction form]]: "So THIS is the final form of Literature/TheLorax! Remember, y'all! You fuck with the forest, you fuck with ''this nigga''!"
* GenreRefugee: Despite not being from an anime, [[WesternAnimation/Invincible2021 Omni-Man and Battle Beast]] became members of the Round Table thannks to their sheer brutality, thus becoming the first characters from WesternAnimation to make it in. [[WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003 Slade]] joined them a year later for being such an absolute menace, and later on, a teaser in Anos' video teased that [[WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2003 2003 Shredder]] may also be on his way to the table soon.[[note]][[WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender Azula]] was also shown, but she ended up being the first prisoner of the Asylum instead.[[/note]] [[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks Colonel H. Stinkmeaner]] subverts it, presumably because the fabled [[BeyondTheImpossible Exhibit D]] promotes him to legend status.
* GuestStarPartyMember:
** [[WesternAnimation/Invincible2021 Battle Beast]], who gets a special Exhibit S for himself in Omni-Man's video prior to the latter's Exhibit C, and also gets his own spot at the Round Table alongside the titular Omni-Man.
** While they weren't shown getting seats at the Round Table, Thors and Thorfinn were given equal focus in the ''Manga/VinlandSaga'' video alongside founding member Askeladd and new member Thorkell. Altogether, the four are even referred by CJ as "absolute monstrosities".
* HangingJudge: Inverted. CJ presents himself this way in the "Disrespectful Moments in Anime History" series. The videos are CJ judging if a character is qualified enough to be a menace or join the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity in the form of exhibits of Black Air Force Energy. Characters who pass this judgment are added to the table. However, CJ only does this for characters he already likes, so anyone who gets put before CJ is all but guaranteed to get added to the table.
* HateSink: In the second Asylum video, [[Manga/JujutsuKaisen Mahito]] has proven to be one of CJ's most despised characters for just how batshit ''diabolical'' his actions are throughout ''Jujutsu Kaisen'', and it's by Nobara's death that he's nearly too exhausted by his evil actions to continue analyzing him.
-->'''CJ:''' And shit, Imma just be honest with you, the motherfucker's ''insufferable!'' And if you hate this nigga, ''I don't blame you.''
* HonorBeforeReason: {{Discussed}} several times by CJ, mainly in relation to heroes fighting absolute menaces that would kick the shit out of them, in particular [[Manga/{{Naruto}} Madara]], and [[Manga/FireForce Charon]]. CJ notes that if he were in a position of one fighting them, he'd take the reason route and KnowWhenToFoldEm, cowardice or consequences be damned.
-->'''CJ:''' ''(On the topic of Shinra fighting Charon)'' Oh my God, Shinra, bro, this is why we do not try to be [[Music/{{E40}} CAPTAIN SAVE-A-HOE]]! LOOK AT THE SITUATION YOU'RE IN! You are fighting a nigga so strong, THE GROUND IS ''EXPLODING'' WHEN HE WALKS! And I know some of y'all are gonna be saying: "But CJ, he's supposed to be a hero, that's against his morals!" NIGGA- '''FUCK''' your morals!
* HorrifyingTheHorror: Truck-kun is treated as a malevolent entity that [[LookBothWays actively tries to run people over]] in order to [[TrappedInAnotherWorld "isekai" them by sending his victims to another dimension]]. However, a few people have proven that Truck-kun is not unbeatable.
** Revy is among the few people who can force Truck-kun to do her bidding, managing to make him stop dead in his tracks before truck-jacking him.
** Pickle The Caveman made Truck-kun beg for mercy for his failed attempt at isekai'ing him. It fell on deaf ears as Pickle tore Truck-kun to bits and ate the meat he was delivering.
* ImplacableMan: What cemented Kid Buu as the President of the Round Table of Black Air Force Energy was taking this trope to a level that frightened CJ himself. As though destroying the Earth in a minute wasn't bad enough, Buu teleported himself into the ''afterlife'' while looking for Goku and Vegeta, only to stop for a while just to beat the hell out of all the fighters he already killed once before. Killing somebody is one thing, but interrupting their eternal rest just to kill them again? Absolutely '''demonic'''. At least Buu spared their souls upon finding his original targets, otherwise Krillin and Yamcha would have been rendered DeaderThanDead.
* InferredHolocaust: {{Discussed}} InUniverse during Ryuga's first video, as after Ryuga's 1 V 40 training regimen leads to 40 elite Bladers laid out, CJ assumes all of them are dead due to believing no one could have survived the huge vortex L-Drago made, and also assuming one of the Bladers had their leg torn off from said vortex, with a note also assuming an arm was also lost too.
* InstantWinCondition: There have been a few times where CJ has added someone to the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity before their trial was even over because their actions were that impressive.
** In ''Manga/TokyoRevengers'', Mikey, after having been bludgeoned in the head repeatedly with a steel pipe while being restrained, suddenly retaliates as he headbutts a guy holding him from behind, and then roundhouse kicks his opponent Kazutora in the face while another combatant was holding onto Mikey's leg. CJ declares "I've seen enough" and [[https://youtu.be/e0ogNfICYek?t=698 adds Mikey to the Round Table on the spot]].
** When [[Characters/JoJosBizarreAdventureDIO Dio Brando]] zombifies a woman to make her eat her own baby, he instantly got a seat at the table, even though that was only halfway through Exhibit A.
** During Exhibit B for [[Literature/TheMisfitOfDemonKingAcademy Voldigoad]], he impresses CJ and gets himself into the Round Table early after not only throwing Sasha's castle high up into the air, but catching it, spinning it on his finger like an NBA player, and ''flinging'' it extremely far away along with those in it, ''all with one hand''. It leads into a FakeOutFadeOut where CJ pretends to end the video early before he calms down.
** In his video on ''Manga/VinlandSaga'', Thorkell the Tall had already impressed CJ a lot through ''numerous'' actions, but one act in particular that got him in before the video's end was ''casually'' sniping a guy through the head with a spear from a massive distance away when enemies were planning to ambush him. And just like that, CJ puts Thorkell at the Round Table with no hesitation.
** An odd case with ''Anime/AfroSamurai'' as Afro gets himself into the Roundtable at the end of Exhibit A... Though said exhibit encompassed his entire anime, with Exhibit B which focused on ''Afro Samurai: Ressurection'' being seen as more of a bonus.
* IronButtMonkey: {{Discussed}} in a couple of videos, with [[Manga/{{Naruto}} Sasuke Uchiha]] in his time in ''Manga/{{Boruto}}'' being a special mention in the Isshiki video just for how ''persistent'' Isshiki was on clobbering him whenever he could. CJ proceeds to note that he never expected Sasuke of all people to get the "[[Franchise/DragonBall Vegeta]] Treatment".
* MamaBear: Revy's main motivation for killing [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist Shou Tucker]] ([[MistakenIdentity actually just]] Claude "Torch" Weaver), is because of the horrible fate he inflicted on Nina and her dog Alexander.
* MechanicalAbomination: Truck-kun is seen less of a memetic truck and more of a malevolent force in the shape of a variety of vehicles, taking lives for the sheer joy of it. Hell, even if it has killed and/or isekaied someone, there is a good chanse it will keep on messing with people, as it keeps doing towards [[Literature/TheSagaOfTanyaTheEvil Tanya]] in the shape of Being X. Still doesn't stop him from getting carjacked by Revy or smashed apart by Pickle The Caveman, though.
* MidReviewSketchShow: After going over a disrespectful moment, CJ will frequently play it back, but overdubbed with his own voice as if it's taking place in a HoodFilm.
* NoJustNoReaction: CJ couldn't make it through ''Anime/RedoOfHealer''. Even though the series contains a RapeDiscretionShot instead of being explicit, CJ admits that it was too much even for him and called it quits. It gets brought up in later videos as an example when sexual assault is implied and there are time when he uses the term "''Redo of Healer'' Treatment" to describe rape.
* NoRespectGuy: If [[https://twitter.com/CjDaChamp/status/1593794146355105792 this short]] is any indication, [[Franchise/MyHeroAcademia Izuku Midoriya]] is this, with Alucard kicking him out when he attempted to apply to join the Round Table. [[Manga/TokyoRevengers Takemichi]] also seems to get this reception from CJ (With him even having him at [[WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants Weenie Hut Jr's]] in said short), though his ''Tokyo Revengers'' videos show he does have a bit of respect for him whenever he steps up.
* NotHyperbole: While CJ tends to exaggerate what certain characters say and do from time to time, he puts more effort into conveying many feats that really are as badass, exasperating, and/or straight-up horrible as they sound.
** In one particular case, in the first part of his videos on Ryuga, one of his MidReviewSketchShow skits has CJ dubbing Ryuga to call out "ENJOY RETIREMENT, [[ThisIsForEmphasisBitch BITCH]]!" as he delivers a OneHitKO on Hikaru. CJ has to state afterwards while summing up the damage from the battle that ''he wasn't kidding'', and Hikaru actually retired from Beyblading permanently as a result of the trauma she took from the fight.
* NWordPrivileges: Everybody in the [[MidReviewSketchShow mid-review sketches that CJ does]]. The N-word is thrown around quite a bit, but all of it is done as a term of endearment.
* OhCrap: While CJ is pretty astonished by plenty of the action and ass-whoopings that happen in media, the one thing that gets him freaked out is whenever TheKlan (Or anything resembling them as seen in the two examples) shows up, with him being mortified at the idea of them appearing in ''Manga/ExArm'' (Technically a cult), as well as ''Manga/{{Hellsing}}'' (Technically they were from the Vatican).
--> ''(In response to seeing the cult in EX-ARM)'' "AYO! No! [[RapidFireNo No, no no no no]], stop stop stop stop stop, stop! ''IS THIS'' '''''THE KLAN?!?!''''' No, no, don't tell me these are the Triple K's."
* OriginsEpisode: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1_1_qh7Xug HOW THE ROUND TABLE OF BLACK AIR FORCE ACTIVITY WAS CREATED]]", which was posted on his second channel, serves as this, going into detail about CJ's inspiration for creating the titular Round Table.
* OurLawyersAdvisedThisTrope:
** CJ has wanted to add [[Manga/OnePiece Doflamingo]] onto the Round Table for a good while, but because of the risk of getting a copyright strike due to how Toei tends to strike ''One Piece'' videos on Platform/YouTube, he has to sneak him into the Round Table at the start of his video for Madara Uchiha.
** During "Revy's Hood Safari" in the ''Manga/BlackLagoon'' video, Lagoon Company comes across Nazis who want to steal a painting that Lagoon Company is after. However, CJ doesn't want to get in trouble with [=YouTube=] for mentioning Nazis on his channel, so he takes the time to research an alternative...
--> "Ah ha! ComicBook/{{Hydra}} agents! *crowd gasps* Thank you, [[Creator/MarvelComics Marvel]]!"
** This becomes even more difficult during the Alucard episode due to how Nazis are the main antagonists and because swastikas are all over the places. Safe to say, there are plenty of [[GagCensor Yellow-Dollar signs]] around.
* PoliticallyIncorrectHero:
** [[Manga/FireForce Shinra]] ends up getting portrayed as this by CJ in "THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL MOMENTS IN ANIME HISTORY 7", as a result of attacking the brown-skinned Charon, and also calling him a gorilla during the fight. Not helping Shinra's case is that the video was posted during February, AKA Black History Month, as CJ proceeds to state he'd make [[FantasticRacism Frieza]] proud.
** Before his FaceHeelTurn, [[spoiler:Jinno]] from ''Anime/AfroSamurai'' was also portrayed this way by CJ. After Afro [[spoiler:killed their master and father figure]], the former quotes [[Franchise/StarWars Obi-Wan]]'s "[[WeUsedToBeFriends You were my brother]]" line from ''Film/RevengeOfTheSith'', though not without adding "I mean, even though you're already of the dark side".
* ThePowerOfHate: Discussed in the [[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks Stinkmeaner]] episode, where his sheer hatred allowed him to escape Hell and possess Tom, and even clone himself just to harass Robert once again. He's not called "The Personification of Hatred" for nothing. The Hateocracy could also care less about avenging him; they only came after the Freemans to attack them.
* PrisonEpisode: Arcs from jail in both ''Manga/BakiTheGrappler'' and ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStoneOcean'' are treated as if they're episodes of ''Series/BeyondScaredStraight'', complete with fake on-screen graphics and prisoner "interviews" with the characters.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: While rape will not disqualify a contender from entering the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity as long as they have other forms of disrespect, CJ [[EveryoneHasStandards notably gets disturbed by depictions or suggestions of rape]], though some cases of BlackComedyRape is fine as seen with Frieza having his way with a Namekian and with Alucard more or less turning into [[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks The Booty Warrior]] each time he releases one of his restraint levels. Also, he doesn't treat rape as a way to make a character a menace and therefore badass as he does with other methods of disrespect. Instead, CJ treats it more as "This character is a creep and is into some freaky shit".
** His review of ''Redo of Healer'' ended when it was getting too much for CJ, and he refers to many moments of rape as "Giving the ''Redo of Healer'' Treatment", even admitting he felt dirty and needing holy water after watching the show.
** During his video for the Unchained arc from ''Manga/BakiTheGrappler'', when discussing cuck moves, he briefly alludes to the infamous Eclipse rape scene from ''Manga/{{Berserk}}''... And promptly pulls back, explicitly saying it's '''forbidden'''.
** While discussing [[Manga/BakiTheGrappler Pickle the Caveman]], Pickle's second victim is a female newsreporter, whom Pickle rapes on live TV. During the buildup to the event, CJ sounds clearly uncomfortable with what he's about to show, and even has the newsreporters in-universe cut the feed early when it happens. CJ doesn't even bother to say or allude to the term vocally, instead just showing a brief picture of [[Anime/RedoOfHealer Flare being slapped by Keyaru's "glizzy"]] and a picture of [[Manga/{{Berserk}} Griffith during the Eclipse]] before just cutting to the incident.
* RefugeInAudacity: Parodied with Frieza Black. CJ Dachamp decribes this form as Frieza, the character being the closest to a white supremacist in all of anime, becoming Black, beating the allegations of people calling him a racist in court, and making it so that way no one will call him out if he calls people monkeys. CJ Dacchamp even describes it as Frieza pulling an Uncle Ruckus on how absurd he managed to turn himself Black.
* ReligiousBruiser: For a brief moment, Goku is depicted as this in the Goku Black video as he's facing down [[DarkMessiah Merged]] [[GodIsEvil Zamasu]]:
-->'''Zamasu:''' Foolish babboon! Just because you're the main character, you think you can defy a god?!\
'''Goku:''' God my ass! The only God I believe in is my lord and savior Jesus Christ!\
'''Zamasu:''' ''(As he fires off a Holy Wrath)'' Ungrateful SWINE!\
'''Goku:''' ''(Firing off a Kamehameha in retaliation)'' EAT MY DICK!
* RememberTheNewGuy: Alucard is stated to be one of the fouding members of the Round Table, even if he didn't appear untill the end of 2022. Wile CJ himself simply states he did a {{Retcon}}, one [[ApprovalOfGod approved fan theory]] as to where Alucard was all this time claims that he was just [[WebVideo/HellsingUltimateAbridged "going for]] [[DeadlyEuphemism a walk"]].
* RootingForTheEmpire: InUniverse as in the finale of his first video on Ryuga, after getting to a point where he was glazing the Dragon Emperor for a violation-laden win streak, CJ wasn't too fond of Ryuga losing to PlotArmor and ThePowerOfFriendship during the final battle with Gingka, flat-out calling it a writer-induced robbery once Gingka started to turn the tables.
-->'''CJ:''' Gingka was damn near close to getting packed! But then, again, here comes the [[OnlyTheAuthorCanSaveThemNow script writers saving the day]]. Because Hikaru, Tsubasa, and Kyoya come to save this nigga- Like, bruh where the FUCK is the ref, can we get a tech?! Like, Bey interference or something?!\
''(After Ryuga loses to Gingka)''\
'''CJ:''' ''(Sighing)'' Tough times, man. It sucks when you see your G.O.A.T. lose, bro...
* RunningGag:
** [[Anime/{{Pokemon}} Ash]] giving a FacePalm in CringeComedy moments.
** Using the painful scream of Young Link from ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime'' whenever someone is hit hard or knocked out.
** When someone dies, they might get the death scream of Solid Snake from ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid''.
** Many times where CJ clears his throat, the screen shows an image of [[Franchise/{{Danganronpa}} Monokuma]] doing the same thing.
** Characters who are knocked out or killed have the "Revive" symbol from ''VideoGame/CallOfDutyZombies'' placed over them.
* SanitySlippage: The purpose of The Asylum is to document how the patient's sanity declines throughout their show, complete with a "Sanity Meter" that increases the crazier they get, equating it to a "[[VideoGame/GrandTheftAuto GTA Wanted level]]". Fitting that the first episode features one of [[Characters/AvatarTheLastAirbenderPrincessAzula the more infamous cases of it]] in WesternAnimation history.
* TheScrappy: InUniverse. As this series is focused on CJ analyzing various moments from media, there are going to be a couple of moments when he calls out a specific character he really dislikes from his opinions. For instance:
** While discussing how he wasn't that much of a fan of Rex in ''WesternAnimation/{{Invincible|2021}}'' for his video on Omni-Man, he proceeds to take a moment to bring up how much he dislikes Amber (Specifically noting "her ass belongs to the streets") before cutting back to stay focused on the video.
** Black Zetsu killing Madara and Kaguya taking over as the final BigBad of ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' was met with a good bit of verbal disdain from him.
--->'''CJ:''' Also so this dumbass hoe could get ressurected- Pffft... Man, FUCK Kaguya, nigga! On God, this man got snuck so many times, but he really died to ''this'' bullshit? Bruh, this man really got hoe'd.
** He has no love for [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist Envy]] either due to him [[spoiler: killing Maes Hughes and murdering children in order to start wars]].
--->'''CJ:''' And also, fuck that nigga Envy! All my homies hate Envy! I will personally go to his funeral and ''take a fat stinking dookie on that man's casket!''
* {{Seers}}: Website/{{Twitter}} is seemingly portrayed as such, giving [[Manga/JujutsuKaisen Sukuna and Jogo]] insight on the former's memetic fraud allegations before the events that caused them even happened InUniverse.
* SequelEpisode: "Black Frieza: From Rags to Riches" serves as this to "Frieza: From Riches to Rags", discussing Frieza's uprising from his VillainDecay from his first video, along with elaborating on plenty of moments prior to his villainous decline.
* SeriousBusiness: At the start of "RYUGA: The Undisputed G.O.A.T.", CJ has to devote a part of the opening prologue to elaborate just how damn serious ''Beyblade'', L-Drago in particular, can be, just in case any viewers are wondering how a guy with a mere spinning top can be that dangerous.
-->'''CJ:''' Now some of you are probably wondering "Well CJ, how significant can this spinning top be?" Well, what if I told you that THE ROMAN EMPIRE was built off the BACK of this bitch?! Oh- Oh, and I'm not done. This shit has destroyed civilizations. You see, the [[FridgeLogic show doesn't tell you this, but if you really think about it]], the prominent leaders that have probably used this Bey in the past probably include: Julius Caesar. Ghengis Kahn. Cleopatra. Nigga, ''Napoleon'' probably used this bitch! And then here some of y'all probably go: "Well CJ, no way these world leaders could have been in this universe!" Okay. ''[[WhamLine Why is Moses here?]]'' '''Checkmate, nigga.'''
* ShoutOut: One of the names Alucard has is [[WebVideo/HellsingUltimateAbridged "The Crimson Fucker"]].
* SinisterCar: Truck-kun, enough that the truck was added to the Round Table of Black Air Force Activity. CJ determines that trucks have killed so many anime characters that it must be a result of active malice on the part of the truck itself instead of a string of accidents by human drivers. CJ lampshades that it's strange to add a truck to the Round Table, but he also admits that he doesn't care.
* SpoofedWithTheirOwnWords: The vast majority of the dialogue for the Stinkmeaner episode is lifted straight from [[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks the show]] due to how the regular CJ brand of humor is quite similar to it.
* SuddenlyShouting: "So I watched Anime/RedoOfHealer and, uhh...WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH, MY NIGGA?!"
* TakeThat:
** An inversion comes from Zamasu; one of his reasons for wanting to commit genocide of mortals is because they want to cancel [[WebVideo/MrBeast MrBeast]] even after all the charity work he's done.
** Played straight in the ''[[Manga/VinlandSaga Vikings]]'' video when describing Thorfinn's final duel with Askeladd.
--->'''CJ:''' Thorfinn gets his ass whupped for the ''fifty millionth time''. Bro is [=DaBaby=]; the nigga has not changed his flow!
** CJ does another one describing the result of the Katsumi VS Pickle fight after Pickle refuses to eat Katsumi's arm.
--->'''CJ:''' Bro just said, "Nah, nigga, you taste like Raising Cane's. Unseasoned!"
** A twofer appears when Sukuna walks towards Mahoraga with a drink and some popcorn.
--->'''CJ:''' But bro was disappointed. He must've went to go see Film/{{The Marvels|2023}}. And he just eating the popcorn like-
--->'''CJ!Sukuna:''' Ho-''ly'', this is disgusting! No salt and no butter for $15? Ugh, must be from AMC.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: After watching the last episode of Manga/AttackOnTitan, CJ [[https://twitter.com/CjDaChamp/status/1720847928665715009 had this reaction]], knowing who was going to be the first person ever to be booted off the Round Table.
* TemptingFate:
** After the rather dour ending of Afro's analysis with the ending of ''Afro Samurai: Resurrection'' where Afro kills Kotaro's ''second'' adoptive dad right in front of him and later gives him the Number Two headband [[HistoryRepeats mirroring what Justice did]], CJ has this to say after Afro continued the CycleOfRevenge:
-->'''CJ:''' Well, uh... That's a... rather dark way to end off a video. Well then, at least it can't possibly get worse than this.\
'''[[WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants Narrator]]:''' A little longer than a few minutes later:\
''(Cut to CJ reading the wiki for ''Afro Samurai'', in particular the page for Kotaro)''\
'''CJ:''' "In the manga, at the end Kotaro faces off with Afro, but he-"\
''(Cue the rest of the message, "[[ShootTheShaggyDog is killed by him through]] [[OffWithHisHead decapitation]]" with vine booms emphasizing each part)''\
'''CJ:''' Oh I'mma fucking PUKE, '''I'M FUCKING ''SICK!'''''
** During Ryuga's first analysis video towards the start of his final Battle Bladers match against Gingka, CJ begins to hype up Ryuga... However:
-->'''CJ:''' So now it was finally time for the finals. The Greatest Of All Time VS the main character. Surely the G.O.A.T. wouldn't get robbed by [[PlotArmor plot]]! ...Right?\
''(Cut to an edited clip of the ''WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants'' episode "Doing Time", labeled "THE PLOT TO RYUGA'S LEGACY")''\
'''Spongebob:''' ''(To Ryuga)'' ALRIGHT! GIVE ME THE MONEY!
* ThatCameOutWrong: Many times, CJ or the characters will realize when something is said as a DoubleEntendre in the discussions. Just a few examples include:
** [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure DIO]] taking Joseph's blood.
--> '''CJ:''' "He sucked that man dry, ''pause''!"
** [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist Bradley]] taking on Buccaneer and the Fort Briggs soldiers.
--> '''CJ:''' "...then gives a stiffie to Buccaneer! ...Wait, wait wait, hold on, ''pause''..."
** Future Trunks impaling and slicing [[Anime/DragonBallSuper Fused Zamasu]] in half.
--> '''CJ:''' "...And [Trunks] gives Zamasu the stiffie, and SHOVES it up thei-- [{{Beat}}] ''...Mega-pause''!"
** Two of [[Manga/BakiTheGrappler Pickle]]'s opponents, Katsumi Orochi and Jack Hanma, [[InterplayOfSexAndViolence getting outright freaky with the former even while fighting]].
---> '''CJ!Katsumi:''' "Welp, [[GracefulLoser I'm cooked, Pickle]]. So go ahead! [[ImAHumanitarian Eat my ass]]!" [...] "Oh, how do I taste, Pickle? Do I taste good?"
*** The fight between Pickle and Jack deserves special mention, as even CJ thinks it made "the biggest "Ayo!? ''Pause!''" moment of 2023", and muses that Jack is a "freaky frog" with a biting fetish.
---> '''CJ!Jack:''' "Whaddaya shay, caveman? Come give Daddy a big ol' kish!"
---> '''CJ:''' "And they start smoochin' and having a bite-off! Their faces are [[NotHyperbole literally]] ''eating each others' mouths!''"
* ThisIsForEmphasisBitch: As put in the words of Yujiro Hanma: "Remember when I told you that one day I might break your back so goddamn hard it might even kill you? [[NotHyperbole TODAY'S THE DAY, BITCH!]]"
* TooDumbToLive: Discussed. CJ's video on [[Manga/BakiTheGrappler Pickle the Caveman]] characterizes pretty much everyone else who wants to fight Pickle this way. CJ says that everyone in the ''Baki''-verse is such a BloodKnight that they can't resist fighting Pickle, even though he's clearly out of their league and [[ImAHumanitarian known to eat parts of his victims]].
* TookALevelInBadass: Discussed in "Black Frieza: From Rags to Riches", on how Frieza manages to not only catch up to Goku and Vegeta, but completely overpower both of them with Black Frieza.
* VillainDecay: Discussed in "Frieza: From Riches to Rags". CJ discusses how Frieza from ''Anime/DragonBallZ'' went from TheDreaded to a mild annoyance, and how every subsequent appearance that Frieza has makes him less and less scary because of how many times that Frieza ends up on the business end of a CurbStompBattle.
** Also discussed in "Ryuga: A Legacy of Greatness", as CJ offers up this possibility, noting how after Ryuga was demoted from main antagonist after losing in ''Metal Fusion''s final battle, he could have easily gone down the path of [[Franchise/DragonBall Vegeta and Frieza]] or [[Franchise/{{Naruto}} Gaara]] and started getting his ass handed to him... Only to note that Ryuga '''hard''' subverted this and only became even more of a threat even if he was just an AntiHero rather than a primary antagonist.
* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids: {{Discussed}} InUniverse in Ryuga's first video, as CJ's constantly astonished the heavier violations (Gingka witnessing his dad's apparent death to Ryuga and L-Drago impaling Kyoya to steal his soul for instance) managed to make it into a MerchandiseDriven kids' anime.
* WorldOfBadass: Every anime that CJ reviews has the characters act as if it's a HoodFilm. Every character is treated as a stone-cold badass, or someone who wants to be one, willing to show disrespect to anybody else if it means being the best.
* YouNeedToGetLaid: In "Revy's Hood Safari", this is Revy's initial assessment of Rock. She says though she's only known him for six hours, "I know you get no hoes".
----
