''Tokyo Fetish Mew'' was a {{fanime}} created by [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuO7Lk0Ectho1uagm0IIDmQ Missy R.]] which was made to be a takeoff on ''Manga/TokyoMewMew''.

''Tokyo Fetish Mew'' is [[KeepCirculatingTheTapes no longer available online]], as its creator has chosen to distance herself from it, noting in an [[https://imgur.com/Nwd2GYT official statement]] that it’s “aged poorly” and she no longer feels comfortable displaying a work including “jokes about [fetishes] when the characters involved are underage, even if it's not sexual.” The series was “made at a time when [she] didn't know better, but that has never been an excuse.”

The story was based on the character of Akane Shibari who joins forces with a bunch of other girls with various kinks in an attempt to fight off monsters created by puritans who want to enforce vanilla as the way to go. No one really wants to support this team and their ideals, so they're basically on their own.

There were ten episodes made and released.

!!This fanime contains examples of:
* ArtShift: The styles sometimes change with each frame, to the point where some frames are drawn by different people.
%% * BaseballEpisode: Episode 6.
%% * BeachEpisode: Episode 5.
* DeliberatelyMonochrome: In episode 10, it starts out black and white as [[spoiler:Akane starts to murder every one of her teammates, starting with Tomoko. As she injures every member, the saturation starts to increase until it is in full color again.]]
%% * DrivenToSuicide: [[spoiler:Akane. Or in this case, a MurderSuicide.]]
* EverybodyLaughsEnding: At the end of Episode 5.
-->'''Shizuka:''' Alright guys! The food is ready!
-->'''Tomoko:''' Good. Now let's get to eating before Chiyo does.
-->''(Everyone laughs, followed by a {{beat}})''
-->'''Chiyo:''' Wait. That's not funny.
* FaceHeelTurn: In the final episode, [[spoiler:Akane changes from Mew BDSM to Mew Guro and kills everyone else on her team.]]
* FanDisservice: After showing rather FanService-y shots of Akane and Shizuka in their swimsuits in Episode 5, it does a JumpCut to Chiyo in her swimsuit looking [[{{Gonk}} rather grossly detailed]].
* GrossUpCloseUp: To the teacher's foot in Episode 1.
* HeroicRROD: In Episode 6, an effect caused by the MonsterOfTheWeek causes all players who pass second base to faint from sudden exhaustion.
* InnocentInnuendo: The beginning of Episode 2 has Akane and Chiyo panting heavily until it's revealed that they are making a huge model of the Titanic.
* ItAlwaysRainsAtFunerals: [[spoiler:It rains at Shizuka's funeral at the beginning of episode 9.]]
* LarynxDissonance: Rorita has a deep male voice.
* LoveTriangle: Between Akane, Chiyo and Rei. Akane and Chiyo are a couple, but Rei wishes to be with Akane. WordOfGod says that Rei ultimately wishes to be in a three way relationships with both of them, despite how much the two of them don't get along.
* MouthCam: In episode 10, there is a shot from inside the mouth of [[spoiler:Akane as she pushes a knife into the back of her throat.]]
* {{Omake}}: Rorita's Nuggets Of Wisdom, which are basically 10 second snippets of Rorita's voice actor saying things out of context.
* ThePowerOfRock: Haruka sings a song to defeat a monster in Episode 5. This is lampshaded.
-->'''Monster:''' Please explain what that was trying to do.
-->'''Haruka:''' I don't know, I thought a song might be your weak spot.
-->'''Monster:''' ''(starts to break apart)'' Damn it. You're right.
* PuppeteerParasite: The teddy bears from Episode 3.
* ShoutOut: The museum in Episode 4 has several hanging pictures of characters from other fanimes.
* StealthPun: Why is there a Mew Scatman? Because it was the least gross (and most humorous) way to have a Mew representing the scat fetish.
* StressVomit: [[spoiler:Akane]] is implied to have done this [[spoiler: inbetween episodes 9 and 10 after the SurpriseIncest Reveal.]]
%% * StylisticSuck
* SynchroVox: In the April Fools episode it features a brief scene where Shizuka's mouth is replaced with that of the creator.
* TitleDrop: In every episode apart from the first episode, Chiyo drops the episode title in her dialogue.
* WhamLine: Mew Pregnancy explaining [[spoiler: how every Mew on the team is technically related]].
