''Dragon Ball Deliverance'' is a fanmade web-animated series based off ''Creator/AkiraToriyama'''s ''Franchise/DragonBall'' series released on Website/YouTube and created by [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCezCSncUdNlPadlFEmjxLQQ The Notorious Luke]].

Taking place many years after the events of ''Anime/DragonBallGT'', the Z Fighters are called forth by a group of mysterious beings to help them face a powerful old threat that's been causing havoc on Planet Namek. However, these beings are not who they seem to be, as the Z Fighters now find themselves faced with an equally powerful new threat as well.

!!''Dragon Ball Deliverance'' provides examples of:

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Well, "ambiguous species" would be the better term here, but the two aliens that form the unknown fusion qualify. Everyone else on Daiko's crew, Daiko included, are all Namekians. But the fusion looks more like a humanoid [[Film/{{Alien}} Xenomorph]] and its components act more as amorphous blobs, making it questionable just what the hell it even ''is''. It's revealed in Episode 4 that the creature is called a Gargoyle, which are {{living weapon}}s created by the Namekians during the height of their civilization's power.
* AnimationBump: The animation is relatively good overall (especially following the first episode, where the animation was ''much'' choppier), but when a fight scene kicks in, it becomes jaw-dropping in its fluidity, with the battles between Uub and Corpio in episode 2 and Vegeta and Broly in episode 3 being standout examples.
* ArtEvolution: Exponentially with each new episode. The first one has all the hallmarks of an amateur first-time animation, with very inconsistent character anatomy as well as flat digital coloring and line work. The second one incorporates rougher line work and more natural-looking coloring to make it look more like 90's cel animation, with the character designs significantly improved to more closely resemble Creator/AkiraToriyama's art. And it just gets better from there.
* AxCrazy:
** As Vegeta puts it, Broly is as much of a monster as ever. We first see him attacking and killing for his own sadistic amusement.
** Didger is without a doubt the most insane of Commander Daiko's crew. He's positively giddy about the idea of killing Pan and Bra and is prone to SuddenlyShouting.
* BigBad: Commander Daiko is this for the story, having somehow resurrected Broly, brought the Z Fighters to Namek to deal with his rampage, and started the entire plot of ''Deliverance''.
* CameBackStrong:
** [[UnexplainedRecovery Somehow]], Broly returns, now as a Super Saiyan 3. On top of that, his state of mind is back to how it was when he debuted, so he lacks his DumbMuscle attributes from when he devolved over his films.
** At the end of Episode 3, [[spoiler:Piccolo]] returns from death thanks to Baba's help, and he's now powerful enough to fight against the [[spoiler:corrupted soul of Gohan]] and cause an OhCrap reaction in Didger.
* CostumeEvolution: This is done to reflect the passage of time and character growth.
** Vegeta now wears a jacket with the Capsule Corp logo, reflecting his devotion to protecting Earth and his family.
** Uub has ditched his Majin garb and now wears the same Gi that Goku wore to honor him.
* CurbStompBattle: While Vegeta and Broly's fight starts with Vegeta on the receiving end, it shifts to the other end when Vegeta goes Super Saiyan 4, easily overpowering the Legendary Super Saiyan and casually kicking his planet-busting attack away.
* CurbStompCushion: Vegeta vs. Broly (both of them as Super Saiyan 3) doesn't go Vegeta's way, with him being subjected to a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown. However, unlike their prior bouts, he lands several hits in and even knocks Broly around for a bit, a far cry from when he was easily defeated in the past.
* DrivenToSuicide: After seeing that he won't be able to stop Majuub in any way, Corpio fires an energy blast at his head and kills himself.
* EarthShatteringKaboom: Attempted by Broly, who tries to destroy Namek and Vegeta along with it. Vegeta, as a Super Saiyan 4, [[NoSell just casually kicks the attack away]].
* EyeScream: In Episode 2, Gotenks loses his right eye to his opponent before they start fighting.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Didger may act polite and civil, but it's clearly a ruse to hide what a maniac he really is, such as when he asked Pan and Bra their names because he likes to know who his victims are. When he receives no response...
-->'''Didger:''' No response? Well then...''[[SuddenlySHOUTING UNMARKED GRAVES IT IS!!!]]''
* FusionDance: Gotenks, as usual. His opponent also does this, but it's more like two amorphous blobs merging into a single entity.
* GenericDoomsdayVillain: The returning Broly doesn't have any motivations here beyond a murderous rampage ForTheEvulz and basically serves as an excuse to get the Z Fighters to Namek. This helps contrast him with Commander Daiko, who's a VisionaryVillain desiring to return Namek back to "the ancient world".
* HealingFactor: Majuub displays this in Episode 2. His opponent blows a large hole in his chest, but he regenerates from it without any problem, even regenerating his clothes.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Daiko, for someone who heavily preaches about MightMakesRight, frequently resorts to outright cheating whenever his opponents are much stronger than him, such as in the cases of Gohan and Vegeta. Not to mention that he's never won a single fight in the web series without some unfair advantage, and the only time he fought someone fairly (Guru in his prime), he lost.
* MartialPacifist: We see that Guru was this in the prime of his youth. He was more of a diplomat, preferring to talk things out, but when the chips were down, he was just as willing to fight for what was right.
* MegatonPunch: Vegeta sends Broly flying into the sky with one final superpowered uppercut to the chin before unleashing his ultimate attack, the Royal Spear, on him.
* NegatedMomentOfAwesome: In episode 1, it looks like Gohan is about to have a round 2 with Daiko after he transforms into Super Saiyan 4. But before he can make any moves, he's immediately taken down by a poison Daiko put into him during their first round.
* NobleDemon: Corpio is this of the JustFollowingOrders variety, as he doesn't show any of the Darwinism and insanity that the likes of Daiko and Didger respectively display.
* NotQuiteDead: Episode 3 reveals that Gohan wasn't killed in his fight with Daiko, but rather, [[spoiler:his soul was corrupted and given a physical form to serve Daiko's crew]].
* PosthumousCharacter: Naturally, as it is set post-''GT'', Goku is this. He may be gone, but the effect he's had on many of the Z Fighters still lingers heavily throughout the series, as shown in flashbacks with Gohan and Majuub. At the end of Episode 4, however, [[spoiler:he gets word that his friends are in trouble and that the universe is in danger, leading to him planning on returning to lend a hand]].
* SocialDarwinist: Commander Daiko is this. He's shown to have a great respect for powerful beings and has a MightMakesRight mentality. He expresses disappointment with Gohan's pacifist ideals and disgust towards the peaceful ways of other Namekians, with him openly desiring to return their race back to the warriors they once were. He also gives great praise to Vegeta after he surpasses his expectations and defeats Broly in one-on-one combat.
* TookALevelInBadass: Given the many years that have passed since the end of ''GT'', damn near every member of the Z-Fighters has become more badass over time.
** Gohan gains access to a Super Saiyan 4 transformation, though [[spoiler:he never gets the chance to use it]].
** Both Pan and Bra now have access to their Super Saiyan transformations, the latter of which even having PowerArmor with its own weapon systems and shields.
** Uub now has full mastery of his Majin powers, including a HealingFactor on par with his original self, as well as the ability to communicate with his Majin half mid-battle.
** Vegeta really takes the cake. He now has a Super Saiyan 3 transformation, and he regained his tail, letting him access his Super Saiyan 4 transformation at will.
* TransformationIsAFreeAction: {{Averted|Trope}}. Broly attacks Vegeta while he's in the middle of transforming into Super Saiyan 4. However, Vegeta at that point is too strong for Broly to do anything to stop the transformation, so all his attacks are either blocked or blasted away.
* UnexplainedRecovery: Broly is BackFromTheDead, but no explanation for how Daiko managed to resurrect him is given. Not even Broly knows how he came back, but he also makes it clear that he doesn't care.
* UnwittingPawn: Broly was intended to be this, but his absurd bloodlust made impossible for him to be this. Vegeta is a more straightforward example, as Commander Daiko used him to weaken Broly enough that he could be retrieved and put under his control.
* VillainRespect: Commander Daiko gives Vegeta his respect after he exceeds his expectations by not only weakening Broly, but outright defeating him.
* WhamEpisode: Episode 4 has Isturi, the Namekian that Piccolo meets in the afterlife, reveal the truth about Namek's past, including the fact that he, Guru, and Daiko were [[spoiler:the creators of the Namekian Dragon Balls]].
* WholeEpisodeFlashback: Episode 4 is largely a massive flashback to the height of Namekian civilization and chronicles how Daiko caused its downfall.
* TheWorfEffect:
** Showing off the power of his opponent, the Gargoyle fusion easily defeats Gotenks even when he turned Super Saiyan 3.
** Shockingly, ''Broly'' of all people is on the receiving end trope, as he gets completely trounced by Vegeta's Super Saiyan 4 transformation to show how strong the Prince of all Saiyans is now.
* WorfHadTheFlu:
** Before Gohan could even do anything to Daiko after he transformed into Super Saiyan 4, he ends up succumbing to a poison that Daiko put in him earlier in their fight.
** The only reason Daiko was able to easily subdue Vegeta was because the Saiyan Prince was completely drained from his previous fight with Broly, having just expended all his energy to end the bout as quickly as he could. Not to mention that he uses the same poison to incapacitate him.
