''Object Lockdown'' is an animated cartoon webs series created by Wuggolo (who previously made ''Super Object Battle'' and ''Flipnote Object Battle'') which began on October 14th, 2015. The first season lasted for 4 years with only 8 episodes under its belt until it was announced to be cancelled on December 27th, 2019 through [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmnNvS6BSZY this video]], where at the same time a second season was announced, though the name was almost entirely censored out at the time. On July 12th, the name if the season was revealed through [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmnNvS6BSZY an official Twitter outlet]] to be ''Object Lockout''. The second season eventually came out on April 12th, 2020. It's an {{Object Show|s}} series, in case you were wondering or have figured out.

''Object Lockdown'' (the first season, anyway) follows a group of 28 contestants competing on the island of Ahi for a mansion, with the competition being hosted by Fire Extinguisher and [[AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance Lock]]. The show works a little different compared to your standard object show (or at least, that ''was'' what the creator originally intended): the contestants compete int teams of two - the Safe Team and the Danger Team - which they will be placed on based on their performance in the challenges. OncePerEpisode ensues a "Lockdown Session" where the contestant who has the most votes will be "locked-down" to the Danger Team, meaning that they are permanently on the team until a three-episode time threshold. Once that threshold ends, all contestants currently locked-down are finally eliminated.

''Object Lockout'' is more different though; set on the mysterious Pericolo Island, 16 contestants (most of who are ex-''Object Lockdown'' contestants) find themselves in a competition hosted by ex-''Lockdown'' contestant Paint Palette for a chance to win ten million dollars. However, as said competition goes on, the mysteries surrounding the island and the true intent of the seemingly-out-of-nowhere game show start to unravel...and that's just the outline for the plot! This season, which [[{{Retcon}} seemingly acts like the events of the first season have never happened]], has contestant voting rather than AudienceParticipation like in the previous season.

!!This show provides examples of:

* ACappella: The "[[https://youtu.be/K48qdZlMcX0?t=125 Get a Comb]]" Lockdown Session tune.
* ADogNamedDog: As with almost every object show conceived to this day, there are characters named after on what they are such as a fire extinguisher name Fire Extinguisher, a lock named Lock and so on and so forth.
* AnimateInanimateObject: Every single character on the show, the hosts, the contestants, the residents, the dragon[[note]]Drago is an action figure of a dragon[[/note]], you name it.
* AnthropomorphicFood: There happened to be examples for this kind of show.[[note]]Acorn, Banana, Berry, Cherry, Hot-Sauce, M&M, Milky, Limey, Pitcher, Pumpkin[[/note]]
* ArmlessBiped: A number of the cast has been inflicted by this.[[note]]Berry, Bin, Circle, Cone, Diamond, Limey, Lock, Pitcher, Teapot[[/note]]
** Yarn used to be armless, but [[SuddenAnatomy gained arms]] thanks to an OffModel error by one of the animators.
* AudienceParticipation: In ''Object Lockdown'', the viewers are able to vote on who gets a prize and who gets eliminated (or in this case, locked down). Subverted in ''Object Lockout'', however.
* BearsAreBadNews: "Breaking The Mold" proves this well!
* BilingualBonus: Both of the islands have a name that's a word in a different language.
** Ahi Island, the island ''Object Lockdown'' takes place on, has the word "ahi," which is fire in Hawaiian. Makes sense, since the island has an active volcano.
** "Pericolo," from Pericolo Island (where ''Object Lockout'' takes place) is Norwegian for pretty. [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] by Paint Palette in "Glad to See You Could Make It." [[spoiler: Or so one may think. It actually means 'danger' in Italian.]]
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Yep, it sure feels like [[spoiler:Paint Palette]] is gonna be this in ''Lockout''...
* CouchGag: When Paint Palette looks at the monitors in the ''Object Lockout'' intro, the footage shown for each monitor will vary between episodes, showing different contestants from different shots of TheTeaser for the specific episode. In some episodes, she'll even catch ''[[TheOmnipresent herself]]'' on camera!
* DarkerAndEdgier: ''Object Lockout'', ''Object Lockdown'''s reboot, is more serious and slightly darker than the original.
* EjectTheLoser:
** As Lock puts it in ''Object Lockdown'': "''The Lockdown only lasts for a specific amount of time. Every three episodes, the locked-down contestant will leave.''" The contestants who do leave after the three-episode threshold will be transported to the Seaside Village, as Lock says that the show's InUniverse crew would [[EveryoneHasStandards rather do that than just putting them in a box and getting sued]].
** In ''Object Lockout'', eliminated contestants ride on a boat to...[[spoiler:a dungeon]]. Yep.
* EvolvingCredits: When a contestant is eliminated in ''Lockout'', they will not appear in the intro following their elimination episode.[[labelnote:Example]]While [[spoiler:Cherry]] appeared in episode 1's intro, she doesn't appear in the intro for episode two because she got eliminated in the previous episode.[[/labelnote]]
* HaveAGayOldTime: The word 'lockdown' has become infamous since the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic, which may partially be the reason why the second season is called ''Object Lockout'' instead.
* InstrumentalThemeTune: All the themes of the series to date. The third one uses music from ''VideoGame/MightySwitchForce''.
* InvisibleAnatomy: Any armless character can hold things like they have telekinesis or something. This happens in later episodes, starting from "Breaking the Mold."
* MusicalNod: Many songs from ''VideoGame/MightySwitchForce'' can be heard in later episodes. The song "''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRyR27l7vks Love You Love You Love]]''" is used in the third intro for ''Lockdown''.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Lock at the end of "Breaking the Mold," when Stop Sign asks her if she is going to revive the dead contestants.[[note]]The show didn't have any means of recovery at the time, which resulted in her response.[[/note]]
-->'''Lock:''' "Oh, look at the time, I gotta go. Sayonara!"
* TitleDrop: "'''Glad to See You Could Make It'''" (courtsey of Paint Palette)
