!! This film provides examples of:
* EightiesHair: In the Plotagon world, the boy in the library who flirts with Zara has a mullet.
* AnimatedShockComedy: The film takes it a bit further than the show, with a higher body count, more dark humor, stronger racial jokes, and even incest.
* ArtShift: The sequences in different time spans and universes are made with Plotagon and Moviestorm rather than Vyond.
* AutoErotica: The running gag of Zack & Kelly having sex in other people's cars continues in the movie. Kimberly & Diesel have a brief moment as well.
* AxCrazy: Annabelle and later on, Shinji.
* BattleCouple: Annabelle and Shinji, who murder people throughout the film for no apparent reason.
* BigBallOfViolence: Rodney and Dean get into this after roasting each other
* BigDamnMovie: Raises the stakes higher than any episode of Zara & Erika.
* BingeMontage: The film features a sequence where most of the main cast gets high.
* BlackComedy: Much of the over-the-top graphic violence is played for laughs, as well as general carelessness and a psychopathic level of disdain for others.
* BlackComedyCannibalism: Little Bill's girlfriend, Mandy, is a cannibal who is seen eating somebody during the motel party.
* BlackComedyRape: Seth doesn’t fill up the car until Zara gives him a handjob. She doesn’t wanna do it, and mentions that if he gets rich she’ll sue him for rape.
* BloodyHilarious: Annabelle and Shinji's killing sprees are played for laughs.
* BrotherSisterIncest: One of the motel party games includes having sex with someone randomly in the dark. Zara plays, and when the lights come on, it's revealed she was having sex with Zack.
* CaughtWithYourPantsDown: Barney in his motel room, and Dean while watching Literature/RequiemForADream.
* ComedicSociopathy: Just like the series, rudeness and a lack of respect for others is played for laughs, although taken to a violent level here.
* CopKiller: A sequence includes Annabelle and Shinji brutally murdering a bunch of cops and prison guards.
* CountryMatters: Zara calls both Kimberly and Erikasha a cunt.
* ClusterFBomb: Truly the whole film, but especially the scene where Zara finds out the money they would've gotten for turning Annabelle and Shinji in was donated to a chocolate pudding foundation.
* DanceOff: This is Shinji's final challenge with Amanda, as well as the rest of the cast when they visit her later.
* DarkActionGirl: Annabelle, as well as Erikasha, Amanda, and to a lesser degree, Zara
* DarkerAndEdgier: Manages to top the already risky series by having a high amount of graphic bloody violence, more frequent and explicit sex jokes, more swearing, a darker plot than most episodes, stronger references to satanism, and a higher amount of sociopathic jokes.
* DeadpanSnarker: Annabelle and Erika have a few moments of this.
* DistractedByTheSexy: In the 2004 Plotagon portion, Zara is distracted by a cute boy when the cast goes to the library to find a scientist.
* DopeSlap: Erika often does this to Zara for saying inappropriate and/or nonsensical things.
* EverybodyHasLotsOfSex: In addition to the orgy, many smaller sex scenes are included throughout the movie.
* EverybodyMustGetStoned: Almost the entire cast gets stoned in a warehouse.
* FoodSlap: The ghost in the new house viciously attacks Diesel with a burnt cheeseburger.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: “Chocolate Pudding will save your life one day”
* GiveGeeksAChance: After Erika turns him down, Kedra (a.k.a L Gun) hooks up with Seth, explaining that she heard nerds and losers are better at sex.
* ILoveTheDead: Annabelle convinces Shinji to have sex on top of someone’s dead body.
* LaughTrack: The Plotagon sequence has a laugh track when the past Dawsons are celebrating Christmas Eve, until Annabelle becomes evil and banishes the studio audience to hell.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: The Policeman, when he takes Annabelle and Shinji to their cells after their speech, disregards their monologues because “this isn’t a damn movie”.
* LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain: Zack and Zara agree to this after accidentally screwing each other. But the rest of the cast, who heard the whole ordeal through the motel walls, roast them when they step out the bathroom.
* LiteralAssKissing: Kimberly tells Diesel to kiss her ass, and he promptly does so.
* MindScrew: The general randomness of the film, along with the scenes of Erika, Zack, and Kelly high in Wal-Mart and the visuals when the cast travel through universes.
* NWordPrivileges: Zara tries to say nigga but promptly gets knocked out. She gets away with it when the cast travels to 2004, however.
* OffWithHisHead: The music video Annabelle and Shinji watch includes a live action beheading. Also, one of the cops are beheaded in the background after they run away from the cop massacre.
* APartyAlsoKnownAsAnOrgy: Both the Halloween and Motel parties invoke this.
* RapidFireComedy: The film is generally joke after joke after joke with little breaks.
* RomanticComedy: Even with the dark themes, there’s a growing romance between Annabelle and Shinji, with a lot of tension between them.
* RunningGag: Every Christmas episode of Zara & Erika includes the song “Fuck This Christmas” by Odd Future. The movie continues this tradition by having the song play when the cast is at the gas station.
* {{Satire}}: The scenes of Maya reporting on Annabelle and Shinji is an exaggeration of how the media glorifies mass murders and turns them into icons and overnight celebrities.
* SexMontage: An orgy occurs at the Halloween Party.
* SexualExtortion: Seth fills up the clown car that the Dawsons drive in, but the price? Zara has to give him a hand job
* TheSociopath: Annabelle definitely fits this, as well as Amanda, Dewey, Erikasha, and in a lighter way, Zara.
* SoundtrackDissonance: “Happy Together” by The Turtles plays during the killing spree.
* StrangelyArousing: Shinji's reaction when Annabelle rubs a knife against his face.
* SpreeKiller: Annabelle and Shinji murder a large amount of people in just a few days.
* StonersAreFunny: The film features a sequence of all the cast getting stoned in a warehouse and "tapping out" one by one.
* SurrealHumor: Diesel being attacked by random floating objects in the new house, and some of the visuals when the characters are high.
* ThreeWaySex: Zara, Violy, and Jahari engage in this at Rodney's house.
* WouldHurtAChild: Annabelle and Shinji's victims include children.
* ToiletHumor: Diesel farts a smoke cloud on Kimberly that spells out her name.
