''One Night Stand'' is a visual novel released as part of [=NaNoRenO=] 2016 by developer Kinmoku.

After a drunken night out, you awaken with a foggy memory and confusion as to where you are. This place doesn't look familiar. Looking down, you realize that you're completely naked. Looking to your right, you notice a sleeping female.

Well, ''something'' certainly happened last night.

Over the short length of the game, your actions will determine your future relationship with said girl as you learn more about her and just what exactly happened last night.

The [=NaNoRenO=] version is available for free on [[https://kinmoku.itch.io/one-night-stand itch.io]]. A complete version of the game was released on November 7, 2016 on [[http://store.steampowered.com/app/549860 Steam]].

!!''One Night Stand'' provides examples of:

* TheAllConcealingI: The PlayerCharacter doesn't get a name by default, but you can be [[HelloInsertNameHere prompted to input one]] depending on your choices.
* {{Backstory}}: You can find out more about Robin by exploring the room while she's gone.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: One of the reasons Robin goes home with you is because you provided her comfort in her time of need.
* BedmateReveal: One of the first scenes in the game.
* BittersweetEnding: The best ending has you part on good terms with Robin but you can't remember your encounter with her and she doesn't want to date.
* BrokenAesop: The best way to avoid humiliating Robin (well, to keep her from being more humiliated than she already ''is'', anyway) is go through her wallet or look at her laptop while she's in the bathroom so you can find out her name. {{Subverted}} if you either [[spoiler:remain honest when she discovers you don't remember her name, to which she will be quite (if embarrassedly) sympathetic because she doesn't remember your name either]], or if [[WrongNameOutburst you call her by the wrong name]], which is naturally a very bad idea.
* TheCutie: Robin is a pretty cute young lady. She's smart, beautiful, and a total sweetie.
* DevelopersForesight: In one of the [[GoldenEnding Golden Endings]] [[spoiler: Robin will ask you for your name since she can't remember it either. [[HelloInsertNameHere You'll then have a textbox to enter whatever your name is]]. You get special custom responses if you enter [[OneSteveLimit Robin, Gary]] or even leaving it blank.]]
* DidNotGetTheGirl: Rather unfortunate as Robin seems like a nice enough girl but isn't comfortable trying for a second date.
* EarnYourBadEnding: Based on your actions it's possible for Robin to throw you out of her house. This normally comes as a result of looking through her private items, getting caught in lying to her, stealing her panties, or [[KickTheDog taking a picture of her while you are in bed.]]
* EarnYourHappyEnding: If you bring up the guitar, you have the potential to end the game on a sweet [[{{pun}} note]].
* {{Fanservice}}: The player gets to see Robin in her underwear whenever she walks out of her bedroom. Subverted in the ending where the player sees her[[spoiler: vomiting into her toilet]].
* FriendsWithBenefits: [[DefiedTrope Defied]]; Robin explicitly states that (in the "{{just friends}}" ending) she ''doesn't'' want this.
* GamerChick: Robin is implied to be this, as you can find gaming magazines while exploring her room.
* GoldenEnding: There's two variations of this when parting on friendly terms with Robin. [[GuideDangIt They both require a specific sequence of actions to achieve to boot]].
** The "True Friends" achievement ends with Robin actually telling you her name since she had such a great experience with you. To get this you have to have avoided making her uncomfortable while also expressing similar interests in novels, movies, and coffee.
** "Her Song" is similar where you have to investigate a specific sequence to learn about her brother, taste in music, and her interest in learning to play the guitar. This ending ends with Robin playing a song for you on her guitar.
* HiddenDepths: As explained in {{Backstory}} and GamerChick, you can find out a lot more about Robin by exploring the room.
* IntroductionByHookup: The Game.
* InstantHumiliationJustAddYouTube: Occurs if you choose to take a photo of Robin while she's sleeping to prove to Gary you did get lucky. A friend sends her the photo shortly after, and it spreads all around Facebook.
* {{Jerkass}}: Gary, one of the PlayerCharacter's friends, is not the nicest guy around. He [[CassandraTruth calls bullshit on what you tell him]], [[spoiler:is implied to be the guy who stood Robin up]], and will post the nude picture you can potentially send him to back up what you were saying to him on Facebook.
* JustFriends: A possible ending involves you and Robin agreeing to be friends...but nothing more than that.
* LaserGuidedKarma: The Walk of Shame endings either where you are kicked out while completely nude orwearing Robin's panties, end with you hearing a police siren, implying that the player character also got arrested for public indecency.
* LuckBasedMission: Escaping through the locked front door involves finding the key, which is located next to it in one of four places. The game selects the correct one randomly the moment the PlayerCharacter steps into the hallway, meaning that making a getaway before Robin catches him trying to leave without a word of goodbye is a matter of luck... unless you remembered that [[SaveScumming helpful save icon in the corner of the screen]].
* MaybeEverAfter: The ending where the player character and Robin opt to just start off as friends, has the player character internally muse that this is for the best and that perhaps it can actually grow into something more over time.
* ModestyBedsheet: In the BedmateReveal shot, the blanket obscures her naked bottom from your view.
* MultipleEndings: You can either piss off Robin to the point where she asks you to leave, you can end up as {{just friends}}, or you can just leave of your own volition.
* NiceGirl: Robin. She is a total sweetheart; kind, smart, and beautiful to boot. Too bad you couldn't meet under better circumstances.
* NotStayingForBreakfast: Entirely up to you; in fact, you can choose to leave as soon as you get out of bed. Or you can, you know, show some kindness.
* PantyThief: You have the option to be this. You can even ''wear them.'' Poor Robin's reaction is ''priceless'':
--> ''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis "What. The.]] '''[[PrecisionFStrike FUCK?"]]'''''
* PrecisionFStrike: When Robin catches you wearing her underwear, she'll drop the F-bomb.
* SexForSolace: The ''other'' reason Robin goes home with you (besides the one covered under BecauseYouWereNiceToMe) is because she feels humiliation at being {{stood up}} by someone.
* SchmuckBait: Given that you are prompted to look through Robin's stuff while she is out of her room, there's quite a few:
** One of the first pockets contains a loyalty card with information about her including what is apparently her name. Turns out all the information is fake and if you never bothered to check any other info in her wallet, you will call her by this fake name which immediately clues her in that you were looking in her wallet.
** On the flipside, if you tell Robin that you don't remember anything from the night, and then look through her wallet or laptop to figure out her name, you will then drop her name in the next conversation. The same result as before will trigger.
** Asking too many personal questions after investigating items in Robin's room such as her teddy bear, jewelry, wine bottle, and medication on her nightstand is liable to set her off and cause her to kick you out.
** Trying to sneak out of the house turns into a LuckBasedMission to unlock the door. This can lead to Robin catching you in the act, leading to a really awkward conversation.
* SexyShirtSwitch: The first time you see Robin (well, from the front, anyway), she is wearing nothing but a shirt and some panties.
* ShoutOut: If Robin asks the PlayerCharacter in which bar did he go to with his friends, he can answer [[Videogame/{{Catherine}} "The Stray Sheep"]].
* StoodUp: This happens to Robin, attempting to meet a guy over a dating app. This is also where the player character swings in, helping her as she feels down after being stood up. [[WithFriendsLikeThese It's very possible she was your friend's date.]] [[spoiler:It's later confirmed that you were the one who convinced him to ditch her. ]]
* TooCleverByHalf: The two "Walk of Shame" endings, either fully clothed or [[NakedPeopleAreFunny naked]], comes as a result of Robin kicking you out of her house. This can be a result of her losing patience if you tell her BlatantLies or catch you in the middle of searching through her belongings.
* VideoGameCaringPotential: You can be [[NiceGuy a total sweetie]] towards Robin, if you choose to be. However...
* VideoGameCrueltyPotential: Feel free to send a nude picture of her to a "friend" of yours who will then [[InstantHumiliationJustAddYouTube post it on Facebook.]] Or you can just be a straight-up douchebag.
* VisibleSilence: Happens often between Robin and the player character. The player can even choose to do this.
* WhatDidIDoLastNight: Part of the main plot of the game. Robin is able to help you put some pieces together, but some parts remain a mystery.
* WrongNameOutburst: It's possible to deduce Robin's name wrong and call her "Louise", which is an instant landmine because [[spoiler:that name only appears on a document in her wallet and Robin will figure out that you went through it without permission.]]
