Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio (Tcheco no Castelo do Sarney EX PLUS ALPHA ZERO X GOLD) is a 2015 PC PlatformGame based on the Tcheco series of cartoons by Marcelo Barbosa before being ported to other platforms years later. The adventurous Tcheco must overcome bizarre platforming challenges in order to collect all the keys on each exciting screen and open the door to the next, making his way through a total of 65 shocking levels.

Prior to the game's creation, there were Tcheco-themed ROM hacks of VideoGame/RockinKats and Kero Kero Keroppi no Daibouken 2: Donuts Ike ha Oosawagi!. A hack of VideoGame/PanicRestaurant was also made, but it was never released to the public.

He's good. We are all good. Let's make love.

!!Troping is our art! Come on, my little friends!:
* OneUp: A single life and 8 HP. You get to heal 3 units before each boss battle.
* Acrofatic: It goes without saying that Tcheco isn't exactly in the greatest physical shape. Yet he's capable of some really fast movements through the game, especially once DifficultyByAcceleration kicks in.
* AsLongAsItSoundsForeign: The trailers for the game feature awkward English and Japanese gibberish, much like the VideoGame/Oniken trailer also made by Marcelo Barbosa.
* CheatCode: Type [[spoiler:BABABABY]] as the first level begins to .
* BossArenaIdiocy: Every boss in the game is defeated by stepping on buttons in either side of the screen to launch missiles at them.
* CollisionDamage
* ContinuingIsPainful: No continues.
* DifficultyByAcceleration: As you advance through the screens, the game's speed becomes noticeably faster.
* DubNameChange: Sarney becomes Lucio in the English title.
* EverythingTryingToKillYou
* GameOverMan: "Tcheco is Dead!", says the Game Over screen as Tcheco's face turns into a skull.
* TheHero: Tcheco, the adventurous kid.
* InconvenientlyPlacedConveyorBelt: Present in a small number of rooms.
* JetPack: Touching an arrow title will instantly strap a jetpack onto Tcheco's back and make him soar in the direction the arrow tile was facing.
* Lucio Not Appearing In This Game: The name is actually a pun with another game title, see ShoutOut below.
* NintendoHard: 8 HP and no continues or saves to get through 65 screens.
* NonIndicativeName: The antagonist in the above title screen isn't Lucio. The creator has said that nothing and no one in the game is actually named Sarney[=/=]Lucio.
* NonLethalBottomlessPits: It's not like you have lives to spare, though.
* NotTheFallThatKillsYou: Tcheco begins the game dramatically landing from above and shaking the ground. His landing is rated by three judges (10/10/9).
* PlatformHell
* Retraux: The game was made to almost perfectly replicate the hardware of the UsefulNotes/NintendoEntertainmentSystem.
* ShoutOut:
** The name of the game and the title screen reference Mônica no Castelo do Dragão, a dolled-up release of VideoGame/WonderBoyInMonsterLand. Woolseyism To adapt the joke to foreigners, the English title references Castle of Illusion instead.
** "COWABUNGA!"
** One screen features Frankstein's monster in his arena from VideoGame/CastlevaniaI.
** Upon scoring a goal in the soccer screen, a voice yells "Fortebomba!" ("Strongbomb!"), which is a line from a infamous pirate hack of International Superstar Soccer named Campeonato Brasileiro 96.
** A poodle is seen in the role of Rush's Coil and Jet transformations.
** In the second area, Tcheco acquires a skateboard which is used for a number of screens afterwards. He rides it much like Master Higgins.
