''Falling Mountain's [=AlterPrestige=]'' is an IdleGame made in UsefulNotes/TheModdingTree and released in 2021. It's loosely based on a game called ''VideoGame/{{Prestige}}'', as many layers provide their own content. It focuses on fixed prestige layers, rather than points (Microprestiges are given for Nanoprestiges, Miniprestiges for Microprestiges, etc.), with some side layers and plenty of upgrades as well.

It is playable [[https://fallingmountain.github.io/The-Modding-Tree/ here]].
----
!!This game provides examples of:
* AchievementSystem: Most standard layers have a tab for achievements that are granted for progressing through the game. There are also sidelayers with achievements for getting to those main layers and a list of various unlockers.
* AllTheWorldsAreAStage: Nanofuse combines the effects of all previous challenges, though Nanocore already has Nanoblock's changes with its own.
* {{Cap}}:
** All standard buyables can only be bought 5,000 times. The limit gets increased based on Communals, then are affected more by other upgrades once those are removed. Nano buyables stop being bought after 1e100, effectively capping them at that point.
** Cascade buyables all have their own caps that are increased with Nano Enlarge buyables.
* ChallengeRun: The Nanoprestige layer has challenges like Nanoblock (raises point gain by ^0.1) and Muckraking (buyables do nothing) that require a certain amount of points to beat them. Each completion grants a different gameplay reward.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Each layer has its own color.
** Nano: Light blue
** Broken Nano: Violet
** Broken Nano Capital: Dark blue
** Broken Nano Communal: Aqua
** Micro: Dark green
** Broken Micro: Snowy mint
** Broken Micro Enlargement: Mint
** Mini: White
** Small: Dark cerulean
** Partial: Peach
* ExportSave: You can push a button to export the 7KB+ save file and paste it into a window that pops up.
* InterfaceScrew: Breaking the Nano layer causes upgrades and buttons to spawn in and out or display glitchy text. The game also gives the ominous message "IT'S GETTING WORSE" 66% of the way through. Once it's fully broken, the issues get fixed and you access another layer.
* OddNameOut: Challenges in the Nano layer include "Nanoblock", "Nanocore", "Nanofuse"... and "Muckraking".
* SIPrefixName: Some of the prestiges and upgrades, like nanoprestiges and microprestiges as well as Nanopoint and Micropoint.
* {{Spoonerism}}: Buying the Microstrawman upgrade grants the Shen Bapiro achievement, named after the controversial pundit Ben Shapiro.
* TechTree: Broken Micro Enlargements have an upgrade tree where you can choose upgrades in a tree once you have enough Enlargements. Three that affect previous layers can be chosen in a different order and increase the price of others in the same row, which the game calls "an illusion of free choice".
* ThemeNaming: Nearly all upgrades and challenges in a layer have a prefix based on size, like "Nano", "Micro", and "Mini".
