Oh, who are we kidding? It's humanly impossible.

[[http://fantabulosogamedev.tumblr.com/ Le Fantabulous Game]] is a three-dimensional {{platformer}} made by a person who refers to themself as Fantabulouso, made to parody "egglike" games that were created after ''VideoGame/TheFantasticGame'' was played by {{WebVideo/Vinesauce}}. It's also really bizarre, but competently made. A person called Capboy is collecting sausages for no reason other than feeding them to his [[LoveInterest friendwoman]] and fighting an army of evil green spheres referred to as the Shamrocks by throwing a smaller yellow sphere at them.

The closest games that ''Le Fantabulous Game'' can be compared to is ''VideoGame/SuperMario64'' and ''VideoGame/DonkeyKong64'', in that the game is about exploring and collecting every little sausage you can find.

The game has currently been abandoned in favor of a new version called ''The Fantablous Game'', which Fantabuloso has been uploading development logs on and he is now planning to begin a Kickstarter for making the game. It has since evolved into an honest attempt at a good game called ''Fantaria: The Quest for Sausage''.

----
!!here are many tropings, they are not antigood shamrock propaganda:
* ActionBomb: The Shamrock King can throw Dynamite Shamrocks, which try to ram the player and blow them up.
* ArtEvolution: 0.9 has a considerably more refined art style compared to the first release, especially in the new areas, which feature phong-shaded textures and dynamic lighting. If the game design itself could be considered "art", the same can certainly be said of that too -- it feels much less of an "egglike" once you get into the Flying Castle.
* AttackItsWeakPoint: How all the bosses are dispatched. Sign Man needs to be hit in the red splotch of his torso, the S.H.A.M. 5000 [[spoiler: needs to be hit in the space in between its body and its thrusters]], and the [[FinalBoss Shamrock King]] [[spoiler: needs to be hit in his "shamrocky cheeks" (that is, his arse).]]
* AWinnerIsYou: After defeating the Shamrock King and giving 20 sausages to Capboy's friendwoman, you get sent to a black room containing a message from Fantabuloso congratulating you on beating the game with some LFG fanart and purple Sphere friends who all say "congratules".
-->'''Shamrock King:''' HER LOVE IS SHOWN BY BLACK ROOM FULL OF PICTURES. IS STRANGE. NOT UNDERSTAND NON-SHAMROCK ROMANCE.
* BigBad: The Shamrock King.
* BigBoosHaunt: Signville, in-universe. The Spherefriend at the start of the area has this to say:
--> i came here on dare
-->now i stuck
-->i'm scare
* BigFancyCastle: [[spoiler: Castle du Shamrock, the true final area.]]
* BigGood: The Spherefriends, who help you throughout the game and [[EquippableAlly become weapons]].
* BlackoutBasement: [[spoiler: After knocking the Shamrock King down to half his health, he turns off the light posts surrounding the arena, forcing you to use the orange ball to light up the area.]]
* BullfightBoss: Armored Shamrocks, while not necessarily ''bosses'', all charge at you while mooing.
* {{Cephalothorax}}: The Shamrock King. He's still one of the only three characters in LFG to have arms and legs.
* CheckPoint: There are checkpoints for when you fall off the map, but [[CheckPointStarvation you get sent back to the start of the area should your health be depleted]]. Unless you're fighting a boss, in which case you're returned to the start of the battle.
* CloudCuckooland: The entire game, but ''especially'' the Fantabula.
* ColourCodedForYourConvenience: The spherefriend weapons. Yellow is the regular ball, red is the explosive ball, and orange is the fire ball. Shamrocks have a heavy green motif.
* CrateExpectations: The beginning of [[spoiler:Castle du Shamrock]] is filled with copious amounts of crates.
* DiscOneFinalDungeon: The Flying Castle, which leads to the Shamrock Prison.
* EasterEgg: Knocking the copy of ''[[{{Squick}} Incontinent Student Bodies]]'' off of the Fantabula will result in the image of the cover of said comic raining down on you until you die an agonizing death or leave the level. A Spherefriend trapped in the [[spoiler:Shamrock Prison]] warns you not to do this and the Shamrock King refers to it in the patch notes of v0.9 as the "RAIN OF A THOUSAND SINS".
* EasyLevelsHardBosses: The levels aren't too terribly difficult, but the bosses will decimate many a player.
* ExcusePlot: Capboy is collecting sausages for his friendwoman because why not. The Shamrock King is in his way. That's literally it for the plot, at least as of v0.9.
* FirstPersonGhost: Averted, although what Capboy has could not reasonably be called feet or a body.
* FollowTheLeader: Inspired by ''VideoGame/TheFantasticGame''. Fantasticaneer, the creator of ''The Fantastic Game'', is actually impressed by how good ''Le Fantabulous Game'' is.
* GameBreakingBug: As of 0.9, dying in The Fantabula causes you to respawn where you last died. This will wind up trapping you in an endless loop of dying and respawning until you quit the game at least 80% of the time.
* GottaCatchEmAll: The sausages. Only twenty of them are needed, though.
* HeartContainer: Blüdwurst, giant red sausages, add a [[HeartsAreHealth heart]] to your health meter in addition to adding a sausage to your total.
* InterfaceScrew:
** Stepping on the egg platforms in The Fantabula causes the game's FoV to widen absurdly, flips the screen, and turns the "starry nebula" skybox into a monochromatic spiral-patterned mess as of v0.9. In earlier versions, the egg platforms only stretched your [=FoV=].
** The rain of ''Incontinent Student Bodies'' covers, which [[SarcasmMode conveniently]] happens in the same level as those platforms.
* KingMook: The Shamrock King, the leader of the Shamrocks.
** Sign Man, the boss of Signville.
* LavaIsBoilingKoolAid: The lava in the [[spoiler: Shamrock Prison]] is just water colored orange that damages you if you touch it.
* MechaMook: The S.H.A.M. 5000, a flying machine that [[MacrossMissileMassacre launches]] [[HomingProjectile missiles]] and [[EyeBeams fires lasers]].
* MookMaker: The Shamrock King spawns the occasional Dynamite Shamrock if you get too far away from him. [[spoiler: And then in the third stage, he summons ''the previous boss'' to help.]]
* OminousFloatingCastle: The Flying Castle in the Circle Friend Fightyplace. [[spoiler: It's not the final area, by the way.]]
* PlatformHell: Not because anything is attacking you, but because the platforming itself is just that insanely difficult at times, and in some cases actively trolling you -- the platforms textured with photos of fried eggs [[InterfaceScrew cause the entire screen to flip upside-down]] when you stand on them, only to flip back whenever you jump.
* PrecisionFStrike: "TOUCH ME OR I FUCKING CUT YOU!"
* RougeAnglesOfSatin: Every Spherefriend NPC in the game talks in very broken English, dubbed "[[http://fantabulosogamedev.tumblr.com/post/82065259895/do-you-have-some-translation-guide-for-the-game Spherespeak]]" by Fantabuloso. The only characters who don't speak in Spherespeak as of v0.9 are the robots and the Shamrock King (they use slightly less broken English), and you would only know the latter if you read the readme file or the v0.9 changelog.
* ShoutOut: The whole game was inspired by ''The Fantastic Game''; appropriately enough, there is one direct reference to it besides the name -- among those imprisoned in the Shamrock Prison are a couple of giant eggs.
* SpikesOfDoom:
** Shamrock soldiers are covered in these. Three hits will knock off their armor and a fourth will dispatch them.
** The conveniently-placed spikes around the base of the mountain in the Circle Friend Fightyplace, which ensure a swift death if you fail the first stage of the platforming.
* StylisticSuck
* TheUnfought: Some Spherefriends in the Fantabula ask you to defeat the Egg King and build a bridge out of eggs for you. [[spoiler: As of v0.9, this is cut short because a brainwashed Spherefriend [[BrokenBridge broke the bridge]] halfway through the path to the Egg King, presumably because the area isn't finished yet. At least you get a sausage for your efforts.]]
* TheVeryDefinitelyFinalDungeon: [[spoiler: Castle du Shamrock]].
* WaddlingHead: Spherefriends and Shamrocks (aside from their leader).
* WheelOFeet: Capboy's feet are permanently stuck in this state.
* YeOldeButcheredeEnglishe: One of the guards in Castle du Shamrock talks this way in addition to the usual broken English:
-->hello notscared adventureman, welcome to ye cushionede cathedral\
in order to enter thou musteth rub three spots of glory\
torches with lighteth if thouest succeedeth
* YourPrincessIsInAnotherCastle: The Flying Castle. After fighting through eight "elite" Shamrock soldiers who don't lose their armor after three hits, Capboy gets launched to the roof as the final boss theme ({{Music/Korpiklaani}}'s Ievan Polkaa, in case you were wondering) starts playing [[spoiler:only for the music to [[LettingTheAirOutOfTheBand suddenly cut out]] as the lights come on and reveal that the Shamrock King is merely a [[CardboardPal crude cardboard fake]] that falls over. Then [[LuredIntoATrap spears rise out of the ground and trap Capboy]] as the Flying Castle flies off to Shamrock Prison]].
