A ''Franchise/SailorMoon'' game released for the ''Platform/GameBoy'' in 1994. Its a standard action PlatformGame. It's also counts as a sequel to [[VideoGame/SailorMoonGameBoy the first Sailor Moon game]] for the Game Boy.

As the title suggests, it is based on the second ''R'' Season of the anime. The game offers two modes to play. A Story mode where you play through five levels, each like an episode in the series as you control each of the Sailor Guardians through an interactive hub level, before engaging in an action stage and then a boss. Arcade mode lets you choose one of the five Scouts from the outright and play through the five action stages as normal, with the hub level and story segments eliminated.

In the action levels, you control your Sailor Guardian and move left and right, jump and shoot enemies with her signature attack. By finding Tuxedo Mask's Rose in one of the levels, you get an extra life before the boss fight. After engaging the boss, you move onto the next Guardian and her own story and level.

The game also offers several minigames to play, as well as a fortune teller and a game based on the [[ShowWithinAShow Sailor V arcade game from the show]].

!!This game contains examples of:

* OneUp: Finding Tuxedo Mask's Rose in each stage and he'll give you an extra life before the boss fight.
* AndNowForSomeoneCompletelyDifferent: During the main story mode, your player character changes after each level. You start out as Moon, then the rest of the Guardians.
* BigBad: One for each level/round.
** Level 1: Koan (Katzy)
** Level 2: Rubeus
** Level 3: Esmeraude (Emerald)
** Level 4: Saphir (Sapphire)
** Level 5: Prince Demande (Prince Diamond)
* BottomlessPits: They're in the action stages. Watch your step.
* CharacterSelectForcing: In Story Mode, your character is pre-determined for that round. Not so in Arcade mode, where you can play through the entire game as whomever you want.
** Level 1: Usagi(Serena)/Sailor Moon
** Level 2: Chibiusa(Rini) & Ami(Amy)/Sailor Mercury
** Level 3: Rei(Raye)/Sailor Mars
** Level 4: Makoto(Lita)/Sailor Jupiter
** Level 5: Minako(Mina)/Sailor Venus
* CirclingBirdies: Your guardian collapses to the ground with these when defeated. Moon however covers her face and [[ProneToTears cries]].
* DeathIsASlapOnTheWrist: You have infinite continues/retries to complete the game.
* GameOverMan: Lose all of your lives and you are taken to a Continue screen where Luna tells you the game has ended, but not to give up. Then you're given the option to try again.
* HeartsAreHealth: Your Guardian has a long row of hearts, and loses one or more depending on the attack. She can also grab hearts to restore some health. Dropping all of your hearts costs you a life.
* HubLevel: Story Mode has your character explore a hub where they can interact with other characters and advance the story. The story/hub worlds are cut in Arcade Mode.
%%* MiniGame:
* PowerUp: Finding a Tiara strengthens your character's attack.
* PowerUpFood: Cake Slices fully restore your health. Of course, they're much rarer item drop than hearts.
* PromotedToPlayable: Sailor Moon was the only playable character in the first game. This game allows you to play as the other Sailor Guardians.
