Suiko Enbu (水滸演武), called "Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty" outside Japan, is a 1995 fighting arcade game developed and published by Creator/DataEast. It is based on the Fourteenth century Wuxia genre novel Literature/WaterMargin (one of the Four Great Classics of ChineseLiterature) and also one of the first games developed for Sega's ST-V arcade board. It was later ported to the Platform/SegaSaturn and Platform/PlayStation. A semi-sequel of sorts, Suiko Enbu: Fuunsaiki (水滸演武 風雲再起), would also be released exclusively for the Saturn.

The roster (excluding guest characters) includes the following (with Japanese translated names in parentheses):
* Shi Jin (Shishin)
* Lin Chong (Rinchuu)
* Hu San Niang (Kosanjou)
* Dai Zong (Taisou)
* Li Kui (Riki)
* Lu Zhi Shen (Rochishin)
* Gong Sun Sheng (Kousonshu)
* Wu Song (Bushou)
* Ruan Xiao Er (Gen Shougo)
* Ruan Xiao Wu (Gen Shouji)

!!This game provides examples of:
* AdaptationalBadass: Chao Gai from the original novel Water Margin was a skilled military tactician, but also an ordinary human being without exceptional abilities. Here in this game, he becomes an undead fighter capable of KiManipulation and can also power up into a Super Saiyan-esque super form in the event an opponent proves to be more difficult than he expected.
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Xiao Wu and Chao Gai have skin colors that are naturally impossible. While the latter has the justification of being an undead being to explain why he has a deathly gray pallor, Xiao Wu's blue skin is not explained.
* AssistCharacter: Gong Sun Sheng is a Taoist priest who summons a fighting spirit named "Nataku" to use as his "weapon" alongside him in battle.
* BackFromTheDead: Chao Gai was a prominent miliary leader killed in battle via a poison tipped arrow prior to the present of the game. He has returned to life by initially unknown means and is looking for vengeance.
* BareFistedMonk: The guest characters from Fighter's History, in contrast to the rest of the roster, do not use weapons and generally rely on their own fists and feet(Though Makoto Mizoguchi can also make a baseball bat out of his spirit energy for what it's worth mentioning). The final boss, Chao Gai, also fights without weapons, but he has the benefit of SupernaturalMartialArts to make up for the lack of weapons.
* DualWielding: Some characters employ the use of two weapons at once. These are Hu San Niang (scimitars), Dai Zong (sais), Li Kui (axes), and Wu Song (tonfas).
* GuestFighter: Makoto Mizoguchi from VideoGame/FightersHistory is included in the console ports. Another Fighter's History character, Liu Yungmie, would be added to the Fuunsaiki update.
* HeroesPreferSwords: Shi Jin and Hu San Niang are among the among the more morally upright and altruistically motivated fighters on the roster and also use swords.
* OneWingedAngel: Upon being beaten in one round, Chao Gai will power up into a stronger form and dish out more powerful versions of his attacks plus pulling out a new move.
* PowerDyesYourHair: Upon being defeated, Chao Gai transforms into a more powerful form. Of the features of this second form is his black hair turning into a golden mane.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Hu San Niang is the only female character on the roster. The Fuunsaiki update subverts this by adding Yungmie from Fighter's History as a guest character.
* SNKBoss: Chao Gai has slightly stronger attacks than all the other fighters and thus doesn't appear too much of a challenge at first. However similarly to Rugal Bernstein in VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters94, once Chao Gai is defeated in one round, he will take on a much stronger form and employ new moves that will be difficult to counter or avoid. The most notable new attack has in this state is an energy beam that is highly damaging, especially at point blank range, will be able to reach the player's character no matter far they are from him.
* UpdatedRerelease: A Japan-exclusive semi-sequel titled Suiko Enbu: Fuunsaiki (水滸演武 風雲再起) was later released only for the Sega Saturn. Among the changes included in this update include the following: Makoto Mizoguchi is now a default character (whereas the earlier versions required in putting a code to unlock him) as well as adding a fellow Fighter's History character Yungmie, Chao Gai is also playable outside of "P2 Battle" mode. The Fuunsaiki update has an opening animation while also having the cutscenes and arcade endings removed from the earlier iterations.
