Shortly after you fall, a floating, black orb greets you, and after giving you a brief tutorial on how to move your character, the floating orb tells you that it is the caretaker of the world you stumbled upon. The floating orb, henceforth referred to as the Caretaker, then tells you to collect white orbs, which the white orb says that it is your own treasure to collect, and that no one can see it but you. After the Caretaker gives you the ability to teleport to certain objects, the Caretaker leaves you to your own devices.
