''Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets'' for the UsefulNotes/Nintendo3DS is a video game of the popular Creator/{{Disney}} show ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls''.

When an odd birdlike creature makes off with one of Stan's trinkets, he sends Dipper and Mabel to retrieve it in exchange for a family fun day and bucket of chocolate afterword. During this, they come across Jeff the gnome, who tells them that the magical gemulets (gem + amulet) of his people have been stolen. He enlists the kids' help, promising a lot of gnome gold. Dipper is given battle cuffs for short-range fighting and Mabel is given a stretching sweater for long range fighting. Now, the Pines twins must retrieve the gemulets from horrible beasts, search for lost items of the citizens and explore the different lands surrounding the town.

!!Legend of the Trope Gemulets:

* AffectionateParody: Lampshades the many aspects you'd expect from RPG games.
* BlowYouAway: The wind Gemulet.
* BrotherSisterTeam: Naturally. The player is required to alternate between playing as Dipper and Mabel throughout the levels, both having their own uses and abilities (Dipper is able to shrink and Mabel can grapple). The boss fights require increasingly speedy switching between them.
* ContinuityPorn: This game is ideal for fans of the show largely because the crew of the show was closely involved in the making of this game, meaning they're very similar. There are many nods to happenings from the show (Dipper and Pacifica's hug from "[[Recap/GravityFallsS2E10NorthwestMansionMystery Northwest Mansion Mystery]]", Dipper's desire to become less of a wimp from "[[Recap/GravityFallsS1E6DipperVsManliness Dipper vs. Manliness]]", Soos' relationship with Melody in "[[Recap/GravityFallsS2E5SoosAndTheRealGirl Soos and the Real Girl]]", ect.) and they share many elements. Even the humor is spot on.
* CutAndPasteEnvironments: The backgrounds to certain parts of certain levels might be straight out of the show, including the dinosaurs trapped in sap in the Old Mines and Manly Dan punching a fish at the Lake.
* DartboardOfHate: One of the gnomes casually mentions to Jeff that they have dartboard of his face in the break room.
* DishingOutDirt: The earth Gemulet.
* ElementalPowers: The four Gemulets.
* GuiltyPleasure: Wendy listens to old-school cassette tapes with her favorite songs on them. This includes 'Cray-cray' by Sev'ral Times, which she seems to be embarrassed about.
* IResembleThatRemark: [[spoiler:The Fire Guardian]] is very righteously offended at Dipper's comparing the backstory of the Gemulets to a '90s animated movie plot, and declares that for such disrespect, he's not going to sing them [[AnimatedMusical his song.]]
* {{Jerkass}}: Jeff, as par the show.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: Averted. Despite the events of "[[Recap/GravityFallsS2E10NorthwestMansionMystery Northwest Mansion Mystery]]" being mentioned in-game and the WhamEpisode "[[Recap/GravityFallsS2E11NotWhatHeSeems Not What He Seems]]'' having canonically taken place the following day, the latter is never discussed and [[spoiler: the Author, Stanford Pines, never makes an appearance]].
* LeaveTheTwoLovebirdsAlone: This is Mabel's reaction to Dipper and Pacifica's fumbling regarding their hug from the episode "Northwest Mansion Mystery."
* MakingASplash: The water Gemulet.
* MeanBoss: Jeff to his fellow gnomes; however, its more due to Jeff's incompetence which causes the other gnomes to show very little to no respect towards him.
* MoodWhiplash: One conversation with Grunkle Stan has him talking about attending the twins' birth. It's a heartwarming and humorous account...until he reveals that Dipper nearly died in delivery, with his umbilical cord choking him.
* MundaneMadeAwesome: The twins start off with Dipper's flashlight and Mabel's grappling hook. Soos occasionally presents them with upgraded versions of these, such as a flashlight that can shrink Dipper to explore tiny places, or a grappling hook that can latch onto ''clouds''.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler:After presenting the final gemulet to Jeff, Dipper questions who it was that stole them in the first place. The gnome manipulated the kids into stealing the gemulets from the four Beasts, who were actually their rightful guardians, so he could harness their power without getting his hands dirty.]]
* PlayableEpilogue: After the end credits, Mabel and Dipper just decide to find every lost item they didn't find beforehand.
* PlayingWithFire: The fire Gemulet.
* TheReveal: A small example regarding the previous gnome queen. Apparently she was eaten by a badger at the start of the summer.
* SeriousBusiness: As par for the show, Mabel takes the theft of Waddles' snacks by raccoons as this.
* ShoutOut: Candy apparently writes fanficion about a ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'' {{expy}}. There's a being known as Digizard, mention of 'evolving' into different kinds of creatures, and it would appear Dipper is also a fan.
* ShipTease:
** At one point, Mabel calls Pacifica out on her hug with Dipper back at her mansion, leading to both of them fumbling to deny it.
** Upon completing Soos' quest post-game, he reveals that he's been writing a love-poem for Melody. Aw!
* ShipperOnDeck: After Pacifica's side quest, Mabel teases her and Dipper due to their hug, to which they quickly deny that it happened.
-->'''Pacifica:''' Oh my gosh, oh my gosh you did it! I could totally hug both of you! But I won't, I mean, ew. Can you imagine?
-->'''Mabel:''' Didn't you hug Dipper that one time at your mansion?
-->'''Dipper:''' No! Never!
-->'''Pacifica:''' As if!
-->'''Dipper''': That's crazy...
-->'''Pacifica''': Say that again and I'll SUE you!
-->'''Mabel''': I'll ... leave you two alone. Ha Ha!
-->'''Dipper''': Mabel!
* StalkerWithACrush: Apparently, Jeff has been watching Pacifica from afar. He thinks she'd be a fine queen.
* {{Tsundere}}: Pacifica toward the Pines twins.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Stan is shown interacting with the gnomes as casually as Dipper and Mabel do. Also, Pacifica is at least aware of them.
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway:
-->'''Jeff:''' There are four Gemulets, and they are the source of the Gnome Kingdom's magic. The Gemulets harness the magical essences of EARTH, FIRE, WATER and WIND.
-->'''Mabel:''' Oooh, [[WesternAnimation/CaptainPlanetAndThePlaneteers what about heart? Is there a heart stone?]]
-->'''Jeff:''' Please don't belittle our culture. This is serious.
