->''Greetings, bots! It's been thirty-five years since the humans went to sleep, and Operation Rebuilt-The-Planet began. Despite being a little overdue, I'm confident that you will [=PICK=] [=UP=] [=THE=] [=PACE=]!! And the project will be completed with out any disrups-(screen flickers off)''

Gizmo is a [=3D=] PlatformGame by Dane Winn and Alec Smith. A single level of it was [[FreewareGames freely]] released for [[UsefulNotes/IBMPersonalComputer PC]] through UsefulNotes/{{Steam}} on December 5th, 2018, though its creators promise to eventually make a much larger, 25-level game out of it.

Many years ago, the entire human race was put to sleep, with the sole exception of the brilliant Dr. Bolt. In that time, he's built an army of robots to help him reconstruct the planet.

Thing is, they should have been finished long ago.

However, Dr. Bolt is confident that despite the setbacks, the project will be finished, and mankind will [=FINALLY=] be awakened. That's where Gizmo comes in. Gizmo must traverse Arctic Base 4, collect transmission beacons, and listen in on Dr. Bolt's broadcasts.

----
!!Gizmo contains examples of:
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Dr. Bolt is purple for some unexplained reason.
* AttackDrone: The game has purple ones that fire red orbs at Gizmo.
* CantYouReadTheSign: Early on, you find Dr. Bolt's sign with the "Absolutely no rolling or jumping!" message on it. Of course, Dr. Bolt is a villain, while rolling and jumping are Gizmo's main powers, so you proceed to gleefully ignore it.
** There is also one entrance with nothing but "GO AWAY" written above it.
* {{Checkpoint}}: Gizmo will occasionally see holograms of himself that serve this purpose in the game.
* CollectionSidequest: Even in the current state of the game, there are 21 Beacons to collect.
* CuteMachines: Gizmo, with his bright colors and nicely rounded dimensions.
* CyberCyclops: A non-villainous example, as Gizmo the PlayerCharacter robot has only one eye.
* FloatingPlatforms: This game definitely has its share of them, which appear to levitate thanks to some antigravity technology.
* OneHitpointWonder: If something can damage Gizmo, it'll instantly destroy him by breaking his body into dozens of scrap parts.
* RollingAttack: Gizmo can compress his body into a cylindrical shape and roll into enemies to destroy them.
* SpinAttack: Gizmo's other attack is to spin his torso around its axis, causing his arms to reach sufficient velocities to destroy enemies and obstacles. When done in mid-air, this move will result in him corkscrewing through it.
