''Alice In Wonderland'' is a 2000 licensed PlatformGame for the ''Platform/GameBoyColor'' developed by ''Creator/DigitalEclipse'', based on the classic [[WesternAnimation/AliceInWonderland 1951 animated film of the same name]].

Join Alice on an amazing adventure as she follows the White Rabbit into the curious and enchanted Wonderland. Meet memorable characters like the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and many more. Alice's adventures take her to levels based on iconic locales and scenes in the film. Alice can run and jump like any platforming hero. Collect keys to escape the Mad Tea party, navigate mazes, grab mushrooms to shrink and grow, and challenge the devious and overbearing [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen Queen of Hearts]] to a Croquet match, but be careful that you don't lose your head!

The game also offers some features and minigames, like an art gallery, a hide-and-seek game, and a scene creator where players can take props and characters and create their own special scenes, that can be uploaded and printed via the Game Boy Printer.

The game is also not to be confused with the [[VideoGame/AliceInWonderland2010 2010 Alice In Wonderland game]] that was based on the 2010 Tim Burton version.

!!This game contains examples of:

* ActionizedAdaptation: This is a more action-oriented adventure compared to the film. Alice can fight and defend herself in this game.
* AdaptationalBadass: Alice is capable of the GoombaStomp and can take on enemies and fight the Queen's guards all on her own.
* AdaptationalVillainy: The Mad Hatter while quirky and well...mad, didn't really try to harm Alice in the movie. Here in the game he has a BossBattle and attacks Alice by throwing ("tipping") his hat at her.
* AndNowForSomeoneCompletelyDifferent: In the level based on the scene where an overgrown Alice gets stuck inside of the White Rabbit's house, you take control of Bill in a vertical platforming section. He has to use his ladder to climb to the chimney while avoiding the birds.
* DeathIsASlapOnTheWrist: Getting your health reduced to 0 forces you to do the level over again. You have infinite tries/continues however, so you're good.
* FinalBoss: The ever-so-delightful Queen of Hearts. This go around she doesn't bother with any formalities and tries to take you down. First in the Croquet match, then an EscapeSequence where you have to evade the guards while you navigate the hedge maze, and finally a segment where you have to survive an onslaught of guards.
* FlunkyBoss: During the final battle against the Queen Of Hearts. She sends legions of her guards at you, that move increasingly faster. You only have to last through to the end to win.
* GameOverMan: Getting a GameOver takes you to a profile shot of a peacefully napping animated Alice on the continue screen, where you have the option to 'Try Again' or to 'Wake up' and [[AllJustADream end the game]].
* GoombaStomp: The main way Alice can defend herself. She can jump on top of enemies to eliminate them.
* HitPoints: Alice's health is measured by Mad Hatter tickets. Taking damage makes you lose one ticket. The player can collect tickets to replenish them by one, or gather all of the stars within a level, at which point the Cheshire Cat will fully restore the player's health as a reward.
* IFellForHours: The first level is based on the scene where Alice falls into the rabbit hole to Wonderland. The player can slow or speed up her descent and has to steer her left and right to avoid obstacles from below.
* LifeMeter: A number reading 5/5 on the ticket on the Mad Hatter's hat in the HUD. Whenever Alice takes a hit, the top number is reduced by one until it falls to [[GameOver 0/5]]. Grabbing all the stars within an area restores the life meter to full.
* MagicMushroom: The mushrooms can change Alice's size from normal size to tiny. The music instrumentation changes based on her size.
* MusicalNod: Every song in the game is a chiptune rendition of the theme songs heard in the movie.
* PragmaticAdaptation: A 2000 game based on a movie that came out during a time (1951) when video games were not even a passing thought.
* RacingMinigame: Collecting 100 Stars unlocks a special racing minigame with the White Rabbit. Winning the race unlocks a bonus stage that can be accessed by speaking to the Brush Dog.
* SecondaryAdaptation: Based specifically on the 1951 Disney film, which itself was based on Lewis Carroll's ''Literature/AlicesAdventuresInWonderland''.
* {{Sizeshifter}}: Alice shrinks or grows by touching the magical Mushrooms littered in stages. While tiny, Alice can't defeat enemies nor jump very high, but she can get into small spaces.
* SpikesOfDoom: Thorns appear in the forest stage where Alice meets the Caterpillar. She can hop on top of ladybugs to get across them.
