An AdventureGame series created by Steve Cartwright and published by Creator/{{Accolade}}. The series consists of two games; ''Les Manley in: Search for the King'' and ''Les Manley in: Lost in L.A.''. They star Lester P. Manley, a pathetic nerd similar to (and clearly inspired by) VideoGame/LeisureSuitLarry.

In the first game Les is a nerdy menial laborer for a floundering TV station who decide to attract some attention by staging a contest for people to find Elvis Presley...sorry, "THE KING". Les sets out during his lunch break to try to win the contest to impress his boss's secretary, the beautiful Stella Hart.

In the sequel Les is called into action when his friend from the first game, Helmut Bean and Helmut's model girlfriend, are kidnapped.

!!Provides Examples Of:
* DistractedByTheSexy: Ask for a raise, and Ms. Hart will bring in your personnel file. The boss is distracted as she walks away, and that window is used to grab the keys.
* GuideDangIt: Somewhat notorious among point and click fans for the inanity of the puzzle design. The first game even makes mention of the hint book multiple times, hinting that you should buy one.
* MoonLogicPuzzle: ''Search for the King'' practically requires you to be psychic and read the designer's mind.
* NotUsingTheZWord: It's not "Elvis" it's "THE KING".
* PunnyName: Les → Less, Manley → Manly.
* {{Retcon}}: The sequel basically forgets the ending of the first game, and that Les should be a rich broadcasting executive. Instead for some reason he's back to being [[ThisLoserIsYou the no-name loser]] her was at the beginning of the first game.
* TextParser: The first game makes use of one, requiring commands to be typed in. Even examining things needs to be done by keyboard, when a later game ''VideoGame/QuestForGlory'' added either a shift-click or right-click to allow examining any object.
* YouCantGetYeFlask: The first example is the thermos, where it says that filling the thermos with water would just be difficult. Instead, the player needs to open the thermos before filling it.
