The Chaste Full-metal Maiden -Leiria- is a freeware doujin ShootEmUp game, released by [=NonLinear=] for PC in 2009. In this game, players take control of the titular character, a RobotGirl named Leiria created by Joshua, a technician and one of the only surviving humans of a space colony incident. The game features a proximity-based scoring system, similar to Creator/CAVE's VideoGame/Ketsui, and near-seamless transitions from one stage to the next. Originally released as a retail game at Comiket, it later became a freeware title.

In August of 2011, the game received a remake with Leiria -Stargazer-, where the gameplay follows the lines of the VideoGame/Espgaluda series, while offering a retelling of the game's original story. Roughly a year later, said game went from a retail doujin game to a freeware game, just like its predecessor.

!!This series features trope examples of:
* BattleshipRaid: In the second stage of Leiria -Stargazer-.
* BulletHell: Especially in the remake. Though, even the original's bosses can easily litter the screen with projectiles, as can be seen in the page image.
* BulletTime: In the remake, given that it's an Espgaluda-clone.
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: It's a ShootEmUp in space, so all the defeated enemies cleanly explode without a trace (unless said trace is a pick-up item.)
* EnergyBall: These are frequently spammed by the bosses.
* EternalEngine: One is fought in the original game.
* MechaMooks: The basic opponents faced by Leiria.
* MoeAnthropomorphism[=/=]RobotGirl: Leiria and Lobelia are both anthropomorphic versions of spaceship fighters.
* NintendoHard: The original is already quite difficult, but the remake is much more so.
* SailorFuku: Lobelia's outfit in the remake resembles one, complete with proper tights.
* ScoringPoints: Leiria gets points in the increments of thousands for destroying the enemies.
* VoiceWithAnInternetConnection: Leiria's dialogue with Joshua.
