Every Anime/PrettyCure series dips into this trope to various degrees, although most are already spoiled by the toy line anyway before the openings do the job.
* It's not even a question in Anime/YesPrettyCure5. Who will be the next Cure? Will Karen get over her RefusalOfTheCall? Which order will they be gathered in? Not hard. It's subtle in Anime/YesPrettyCure5 Go!Go! in concern with Milky Rose. You see Milky Rose and her civilian identity of Kurumi Mimino. Kurumi/Rose appears directly after her true form, the fairy Milk.
* Anime/FreshPrettyCure spoiled the appearance of Northa/Norza/whatever her name is.
* Anime/HeartcatchPrettyCure gave away Cure Moonlight's civilian identity, her return to being a MagicalGirl well before it happened and featured characters such as future third member Itsuki, the other two members of the QuirkyMinibossSquad, the Pretty Cure Manteaus, Marine Dynamite, the Desert Devils and Floral Power Fortissimo.
* Anime/SuitePrettyCures opening spoiled the Cure Belltiers, Cure Muse, and the fact that there's an eighth Fairy Tone. Cure Muse, however, was a masked AloofAlly and the openings don't spoil her real identity, with her notably not being revealed even by the second opening, which manages to hide that it's not the actual final opening.
* Anime/SmilePrecures DebutQueue is a very dull surprise on who is going to be the next Cure since they are all over the opening. It's also in their theme song.
--> "Happy! Sunny! Peace! March! Beauty!"
** The English dub of the series, Anime/GlitterForce, begins with a scene where Emily (Miyuki) has a dream about becoming a member of the Glitter Force, which spoils the entire first half of the series in a minute and a half, from the beginning of the show to the girls getting their Princess Forms.
* Anime/DokiDokiPrecures opening has a FreezeFrameBonus with Regina, but only her silhouette is shown.
** The English dub, Anime/GlitterForceDokiDoki, features Regina in full, and also spoils the MidSeasonUpgrade, the Love Heart Arrows.
* Anime/HappinessChargePrettyCure actually shows the civilian forms of the Sixth Rangers before they are revealed, and that they would eventually join the team despite the fact that one of them joins them after 11 episodes while the other has yet to join them. The additional forms of the Cures are revealed before their introduction, too.
* Anime/GoPrincessPrettyCures first OP has Twilight appear long before her real debut in #13, however, notably, it implies she's outright an antagonist and possibly their final opponent.
* Anime/MahoGirlsPrecure only shows its Third Ranger Cure in the second opening and the second opening first appears in the episode when that Cure is introduced.
* Anime/KiraKiraPrecureALaModes first opening showed Kirarin dancing with Pekorin. Kirarin herself would not appear until episode 21. It also showed Julio, who didn’t make an appearance until Episode 11.
* Anime/HugttoPrettyCure was able to keep the identity of most of the villains under wraps by switching the OP after the first group of them had been purified, but it did feature Jelos' two bodyguards, Jinjin and Takumi, as separate characters. Sure enough, in Episode 31, they strike out on their own to try and take the Cures out and are purified as a result. The opening also showed Mother Heart prior to her being used as a summon in the final ten episodes or her splitting the final TransformationTrinket into two in Episode 20.
* Anime/StarTwinklePrettyCure has Blue Cat show up prior to her debut in Episode 15, in a similar way to Twilight in Go Princess. The opening also has a scene where Cure Star holds the Twinkle Stick, which was in the opening from the very beginning.
* The opening of Anime/HealinGoodPrettyCure features a purple statue of a girl, which becomes Cure Earth in episode 19.
* Anime/TropicalRougePrettyCure has a minor leak of Elda appear in the intro despite her not appearing until Episode 6. It also has Laura feature in several of the group shots long before she gets her legs.
* The Anime/DeliciousPartyPrettyCure intro spoils that Kome-Kome has a human form that ages from a baby to a little girl as the series progresses. It also sort of shows Narcistoru, who doesn’t appear until Episode 11, but his face his hidden.
* Averted with Anime/SoaringSkyPrecure, which keeps the identities of the villains under wraps by only showing one and does not spoil any of the upcoming Cures, only altering minor parts of the intro as they debut.
* Anime/WonderfulPrettyCure however goes back to revealing the entire team in one go, featuring Cure Nyammy and Lillian long before they debut, and the sponsor card reveals the fact Mayu is part of the overall group.
