7	''Acapulco'' is an American Spanish/English comedy series on Creator/AppleTVPlus. It is loosely inspired by the film ''Film/HowToBeALatinLover''.

9	In the present day, Malibu-based mogul Maximo Gallardo Ramos (Creator/EugenioDerbez) tells his teenage nephew Hugo (Creator/RaphaelAlejandro) how he accrued his massive wealth. Maximo's story begins when he was a young man (Creator/EnriqueArrizon) in 1980s Acapulco who lands a job at the swanky resort Las Colinas to help support his mother Nora (Creator/VanessaBouche) and sister Sara (Creator/ReginaReynoso). Helping him along are his best friend Memo (Creator/FernandoCarsa), the pretty receptionist Julia (Creator/CamilaPerez) and his "mentor" of sorts, Don Pablo ([[Creator/DamianAlcazar Damián Alcázar]]). The cast is rounded out by Creator/JessicaCollins as the hotel's starlet owner Diane Davies and Creator/ChordOverstreet as her son Chad.
