* Alistair Leslie Graham, better known as Ali G, is a middle-aged man that lives with his grandma in Staines (nowadays known as Staines-upon-Thames), a quaint little town just south of London. However, he is also a massive "chav", and imitates Black and gangsta rap culture in a desperate attempt to look cool. He is the leader of a small gang named West Staines Massiv, a gang that however does anything but commit crimes - hell, they even stay under the legal speed limit when they do street racing. However, he's found success as a talk show host, though his interviews tend to go a bit off the wall.
** This obviously begs the question: how did he find himself ascended to the Pantheon? Well, one day he learned that the recreation center he was working part-time in was about to be demolished, and therefore he tried his best to keep it open at all costs; the English Prime Minister, amused by his determination, made him a politician, and a successful one at that. Despite a lot of intrigue, he successfully kept the recreation center open and was made English ambassador in, you guessed it, Jamaica. The Main House found this story hilarious and surprisingly commendable, and that's how Ali gained a place among the Gods. He's still waiting for the ganja he was promised, though.
* The first thing he did upon his ascension was asking the first deity he found where he could easily find drugs. He ended up in the House of Crime as a result, and asked about the best weed they have, lest he would shoot up the place with a FingerGun (he forgot to bring his own gun in the Pantheon, he said). Obviously, no one there took him seriously and he was quickly booted out from the House as a result, but he surprisingly managed to find a kinship with Beat - according to him, he befriended Ali because he liked his style. To this day, you might see them together sketching up new graffiti ideas for the West Staines Massiv.
* You might sometimes spot him driving around in his [[RiceBurner questionably modified]] Renault 5 bumping drum and bass, dancehall or gangsta rap on full blast. The general consensus is that while his car tuning taste is decidedly awful, his music taste is anything but, even though he should turn the volume down.
* He tends to have flings with various girls - with two in particular, Julie and Kiara, being his most prominent girlfriends. However, he's not above ogling other women even when engaged. He also has a thing for large breasts, something that makes the [[VideoGame/SenranKagura Shinobi Girls]] a particular target of affection. However, reactions vary massively between each of the girls: while girls like [[Pantheon/ActsOfFriendship Asuka]], [[Pantheon/CapesAndCoats Haruka]], [[Pantheon/IntrovertCharacterization Ryouna]] and [[Pantheon/FanserviceAttires Shiki]] are more welcoming to his admiration, others - like [[Pantheon/MaleAndFemaleTraits Ikaruga]], [[Pantheon/EyeColors Murasaki and Yumi]] - are more easily flustered. [[Pantheon/WeaponizedObjects Yagyuu]] is keeping Ali on her radar though, in case he does anything perverted towards [[Pantheon/EyeAppearances Hibari]].
* The House of Theater has let him host his show in one of its sets, and as such Ali is searching for deities to interview. A lot of people are dumbfounded by the idea of a ditzy middle-aged chav being a talk show host but some, like Papyrus, Sans and Off the Hook, have voiced their availability. Mettaton has also agreed to help Ali with the interviews, as long as he is the presenter.
* Considering he claims to be a gangster, he has declared rivalries with some of the gang-related deities in the Pantheon, such as Guzma and the Leader of the [=3rd=] Street Saints. In reality, [[UnknownRival these deities couldn't care less about Ali.]] Guzma is probably the closest he has to a requited rival though, as they both share a habit of being harmless gangsters.
** In spite of that, Ali is on very good terms with people like Giorno Giovanna and Kazuma Kiryu, whom he admires for their code of honor despite being gangsters. Giorno, on his part, finds Ali's antics hilarious - but has once told Ali that he should slow down with his use of drugs. An advice that, however, fell on deaf ears since Ali is a massive stoner. The Dragon of Dojima, upon coming to wind about Ali's fight for his children's recreation centre, personally complimented him and said that if his centre's children ever lose their loved ones, he'll welcome them with open arms at Sunflower Orphanage.
* Due to his struggle for keeping his children's recreation center open - even going as far as calling for a hunger strike[[note]]Which, we might add, he only started after eating an entire bag of chips and he put on pause just one minute after starting because he wanted to try out KFC's new chicken dippers[[/note]] and dealing with country-wide political machinations, he has no love for corrupt politicians like Prime Minister Honest and Napoleon, and people who abuse children like Dolores Umbridge and Ghetsis Harmonia. He wishes he could empty a couple of blanks on their faces, but truth be told, he's way too meek to do that.
** On the contrary, his fight for the recreation center has made him popular among child deities and others who are friendly to kids, such as Uncle Howee - who has lended his hand to Ali in his attempt to open another recreation center in the Pantheon to help kids how to [[ArcWords "keep it real."]]
* One day Ali thought he heard [[Creator/MartinFreeman the voice]] of his good friend and West Staines Massiv associate Ricky C, only to realize that it wasn't him but Bilbo Baggins. Despite all odds, however, Ali and Bilbo have forged an unusual kinship due to their fellow status as unlikely heroes of their respective stories.

* 2077. The world is a complete mess: wars, social inequality and pollution have made life in Earth miserable for those not born with a silver spoon in their mouth. In this utter mess the United States have splintered in a way Yugoslavia would be proud of, with their governments nothing more than pawns for the big corporations. No other place in the world exemplifies this better than Night City, Free State of California - a pretty, pristine city on the surface that is ran amok by crimes and political subterfuge. V, an up-and-coming mercenary with three different tellings of their past, arrives into the city with the promise of a better life. Everything however goes to hell after a hit on Arasaka headquarters to get their hands on an immortality chip called the Relic: Jackie Welles, their new partner-in-crime and guy who introduced them to NC, dies during the hit and V is forced to salvage the chip by inserting it in their body; little did V know, though, that the Relic included the conscience of the late Johnny Silverhand, the legendary frontman of punk rock band Samurai that was declared dead after a failed hit on Arasaka. Even worse, the Relic was slowly overwriting V's conscience with that of Johnny, a process that cannot be undone in any way lest they would die. As such, V needed to find a way to at least fill their last days as themselves or at most find a way to slow down the overwriting process.
* [[MultipleEndings There are many accounts on what happened to V:]] some said they killed themselves after deciding saving their life isn't worth letting their trusted ones die; others say V became Rogue's successor as the head fixer of the Afterlife and Night City's most famous mercenary; even others say V sold their body to Arasaka in a last-ditch attempt to free their conscience from Johnny, which failed, and had their conscience instead uploaded; a few people even said they finished what they started with a high-risk, high-reward, one-man raid in the Arasaka headquarters. Whatever happened, V somehow ended up in the Pantheon in one way or another without anyone truly knowing how they managed.

* Ichiban Kasuga is the son of a prostitute who had to abandon him in a locker in Kamurocho. He was raised in a brothel by its owner, Jiro Kasuga, and often skipped school to pick up fights. That is, until he ended up picking a fight with a yakuza hotshot, and was promptly kidnapped by their associates to get revenge. Ichiban tried to bluff his way out by saying he was part of the Arakawa Family, but the lie worked out oddly in his favor as he was rescued by clan patriarch Masumi Arakawa, who decided to raise him as his own son after Jiro's death. However, his kindness and empathy made him a complete trainwreck at being a yakuza, something that made him source of disgust from Jo Sawashiro, Masumi's number one enforcer. Like Kiryu, he also took the fall for a murder he did not commit in an attempt to keep the Arakawa Family alive. He was released 18 years later, now a fully estranged man that not even the Arakawa Family wanted to deal with anymore as Masumi, now captain of the Omi Alliance, shot him and shipped him off to Isezaki Ijincho, Yokohama. His quest to claim back his honor led him to cross paths with various other people who have also hit rock-bottom:
** Koichi Adachi used to work as a detective for the Kanagawa Prefectural Police who received an unreasonable relocation to the Tokyo Metropolitan DMV, where he was in every way a fish out of water. Upon investigating, though, he learned that Juro Horinouchi, his former boss, had ties to Masumi Arakawa and was accused of corruption and evidence tampering for one of the cases he worked on, among other things. While he originally only wanted to ship off Ichiban to Yokohama, he ultimately decided to join his crew after catching up with him there and ultimately realizing the two share a common goal.
** Yu Nanba was the first person Ichiban met in Yokohama. A former nurse, he was stripped of his license for funneling his medicines to the black market. He instructed Ichiban in the life of a homeless man in the latter's first few days in Yokohama, but ultimately decided to join Ichiban after he helped him find shelter in a nearby soapland. [[spoiler:Turned out, however, that the only reason why he even wanted to side with Ichiban was that he wanted to use him to get closer to the Geomijul to investigate his brother's disappearance, after finding out about the counterfeit bill Ichiban had with himself as a calling card from Masumi. To that end, he ended up willingly siding with Bleach Japan, a non-profit organization that tried and failed to throw off Ichiban numerous times. However, this betrayal eventually proved for naught as the Geomijul managed to burn down all the evidence of the counterfeiting by destroying their own base; this, coupled with his former comrades fighting tooth and nail to free him as well as the Geomijul admitting they kept his brother under their watch and even treated him reasonably well, led him to join Ichiban's side once again and this time for good.]]
** Saeko Mukoda ran away from home after her mother's death due to her rocky relationship with her father and sister. She found a job in a hostess bar, and worked her way up to become the new matron following the death of the previous one. In fact, it was just after the old patron's funeral where she first met Ichiban and the others, who mistook her for her sister. She joined Ichiban's crew out of her desire to make things right with her old boss, and also to uncover the true circumstances behind his death.
** Ethnically Korean but born in Japan as Yeonsu Kim, Joon-gi Han lived a harsh childhood between an abusive, alcoholic father and discrimination from both their Japanese and Korean peers, to the point he was forced to undergo plastic surgery to act as a body double for his predecessor in the Jingweon Mafia. Han built a strong friendship with the predecessor, but after the latter's death he was forced to escape from Kamurocho alongside a group of estranged Jingweon goons. To add insult to injury, the remaining members of the Jingweon Mafia operated a persecution campaign against Han simply for being alive while the real Joon-gi Han was six feet under. This ultimately culminated with Joon-gi disavowing all his ties with the Jingweon and joining the Geomijul, a Korean crime syndicate based in Yokohama. He bonded with Seong-Hui, the leader, in a similar way to how he became friends with his predecessor back when he still rolled with the Jingweon. After saving Ichiban and the others from the clutches of Mabuchi and the Liumang, Joon-gi Han met them again when they stormed through Geomijul headquarters to find reliable evidence on Nonomiya's murder by the hands of Mabuchi. Despite some early differences, Han ultimately decided to team up with Ichiban after he saved him and the Geomijul from an invasion by Omi Alliance forces.
** Former leader of the aforementioned Liumang, Tianyou Zhao used to oppose Ichiban and his colleagues - even going as far as sending hitmen against Nanba. However, his sadistic and cruel personality was nothing more than a facade he put up out of the expectations his peers had of him as a leader, a job he didn't feel like he was even adequate for to begin with because he inherited it from his late father. If anything, he always felt that his true calling was that of being a high-class chef: matter of fact, he runs a popular Chinese restaurant in Ijincho called Qing Jin. Because of his clashing interests, his relationship with his former best friend Akira Mabuchi inevitably soured, not helped by the fact that the latter knew Zhao received his leading role in the Liumang out of a case of nepotism. After being rescued by Ichiban from the clutches of the Omi Alliance, Zhao decided to ditch the Liumang and join the estranged yakuza's crew: despite opposing him for some time, Zhao immediately got into good terms with Ichiban after joining his cause, especially after noting that he's much more like him than he initially thought.
** In comparison to the other colleagues, Eri Kamataki has a much smaller role, being Ichiban's secretary in his namesake senbei company that she inherited from her deceased father. She joined Ichiban's crew after she caught wind of his quest. Despite this, though, she still remains in the shadows compared to the others, leading many to joke she stays in a "business dimension" from which she only gets out of when necessary.
* Following Kiryu's retirement and permanent residence in the Pantheon, the Court of the Gods caught wind of Ichiban replacing the Dragon of Dojima as the new protagonist of the ''Yakuza'' series. Matter of fact, he was also a follower of Touta Konoe, who personally vouched for his ascension. Ichiban said he was willing to ascend on one condition: that his companions were all brought alongside him in the Pantheon. The Court was taken a little aback from the conditions and needed to find a position that suited each and every one of them: however, they noted that Ichiban and his companions all ended up with nothing when they came together, even losing their old jobs beforehand be it out of their own volition or not. As such, they were ultimately ascended as Deities of [[OutOfJobIntoThePlot Plot-Convenient Job Losses]].
* Applies to all of them:
** Upon learning that Kiryu and Majima were both already deified before them, Ichiban and their crew started panicking as they had to fight both of them in their stories (and both of them were far more than they could handle: they held Majima - who was fighting alongside Saejima - to a draw, although it was clear they were extremely rusty after being out of the scene for so long; [[CurbStompBattle they weren't as lucky against Kiryu]]). The Dragon and the Mad Dog, however, said they meant no harm to them: indeed, they even complimented Ichiban in his ascension, both pointing out that he deserved it thanks to his steadfast behavior and desire to become a hero.
*** During battles, some deities noted that Ichiban usually calls either Kiryu or Majima to help him when he's in a pinch. Ichiban says he likes to pretend that he's summoning a legendary beast by doing so, while the two preferred not to comment.
** A couple days after his ascension, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts came to visit Ichiban's temple thinking Munehisa Iwai, one of their associates, landed a spot in the Pantheon. Of course, they were mistaken, not helped by the fact [[Creator/KaijiTang Ichiban sounds a lot like Iwai]] and he is a yakuza like Iwai used to be. Ichiban and his crew, however, took it in stride and soon landed a really close kinship with the Thieves as they noted a lot of similarities between each other since both are groups of individuals estranged from society who banded together to change society for the better in their own way by fighting through conspiracies woven between crime lords, high-tier politicians, moral guardians and the police. Ichiban does hope to get his own Persona one day, though he does like to pretend he has one.
** One day, while dining outside with Kiryu and Majima, Ichiban met Raku Ichijou and Chitoge Kirisaki, who were also mutual friends of the Dragon of Dojima and the Mad Dog of Shimano. The story between the two immediately struck a chord on Ichiban: like them, he is no stranger to acting as a peacekeeper between rivaling gangs. Predictably, Ichiban introduced the two to his teammates later on; Chitoge's past as a marginalized half-American expat particularly captivated Joon-gi, who himself experienced heavy discrimination during his childhood. Saeko and Adachi have also proposed to help Raku better confess his feelings towards Chitoge, but he politely turned down the offer.

* A top graduate from Touto University with a degree in business, Shun Akiyama used to hold a high-placed position at Touto Bank as an investment advisor. However, one day he was framed up by his own boss and fired over charges of embezzlement, after it was discovered that a million yen was taken from one of his clients' accounts and transferred into his own. He burned all his life savings to try and prove his innocence, and ultimately ended up homeless. Luckily for him, he quite literally had money rain on him one day when [[VideoGame/Yakuza1 a bomb was set off atop the Millennium Tower, causing a money rain of 10 billion yen.]] He snatched some of the money that fell, and with that he started Sky Finance - a surprisingly successful loan company with incredibly unorthodox tactics: instead of charging interests or collaterals, Akiyama makes his clients go through tests of varying difficuly depending on the requested sum, and they get loaned their money if they manage to pass it.
* Akiyama was already successful in Kamurocho, but he has also set up shop in Osaka with the help of his trusted secretary Hana. His ascension to the Pantheon involved a similar ordeal, with him opening another branch of Sky Finance in the House of Commerce. He heard about the Pantheon through Kiryu, and thought it would've been a good idea to expand his business there to gain more clients.
* As expected, his temple also doubles as the Pantheon's branch of Sky Finance; while his work and extremely aggressive loan policies have irked some of the Pantheon's more infamous loan sharks, he's gained great popularity among those in need. Ochaco Uraraka in particular quoted her interest in taking a loan to help out her family - Akiyama thinks that her job as a Pro Hero is more than enough a test of character for her, but is still trying to search for a test himself to not make it seem unfair to everyone else.

* Takayuki Yagami is the son of a defense attorney who famously proved innocent someone who was accused of raping and killing a 15-year old girl; said verdict unfortunately caused both his parents to get murdered by the victim's father while he was at a friend's house. After the murder, Yagami moved to Kamurocho, Tokyo, where he was adopted by yakuza patriarch Mitsugu Matsugane. In his days as a honorary member of the Matsugane Family he became close friends with Masaharu Kaito, whom he periodically picked fights with before his adoption. Later on, Yagami went through law school: his abilities as a defense attorney were seen by one Ryuzo Genda, who not only paid for his education but also secured him a job at his law firm after graduating. In 2015, Yagami successfully proved the innocence of Shinpei Okubo, who was accused of murdering a senile old man. This against-all-odds success led his career to new heights, but everything would come crash down a few months later when Okubo was sentenced guilty of another murder, this time of his girlfriend Emi. Guilt-ridden for letting a would-be murderer run free, Yagami quit his job and became a private detective, but he would soon get a second chance by uncovering a conspiracy about a miracle drug to fight Alzheimer's and how it was correlated to a long string of murders in Kamurocho, of which Emi's murder was also part.
* Having lived in [[CityOfAdventure Kamurocho]] ever since he went to law school, Yagami is a man of many skills and attributes: he is able to fight off anyone through a self-taught mixture of various martial arts, and his detective skills range from picking locks to [[StalkingMission following suspects without getting caught]] and infiltrating dangerous places by disguising as someone who's less assuming. This last skill proved essential in many of his cases, and is also what got him ascended.

* Misaki Shokuhou is one of Academy City's top-ranked espers and the fifth-ranked Level 5. She grew up in the Clone Dolly research laboratory, where she developed her powerful mind altering abilities; during her training she was asked to brainwash a girl named Dolly, who ultimately became a close friend. There she also met Junko Hokaze, with which she developed a strong bond after curing her migraines with her psychic powers. After leaving the facility she ended up having multiple encounters with Touma Kamijou, encounters that she herself describes as "the happiest moments of her life". These run-ins became so commonplace that Touma gave her a cheap whistle to call him up whenever she's in trouble. Sadly, this relationship ended in an abrupt and quasi-tragic note, as a group of esper gangsters attacked Misaki and Touma, the latter ending up with life-threatening injuries in a desperate attempt to save the former. Misaki tried to save Touma with her powers, but due to Touma's low blood pressure this attempt didn't work quite as planned, leaving the guy with brain damage and a complete inability to remember her. Since that accident, Misaki entered Tokiwadai Academy to receive education, and as the second Level 5 to step foot in the schoool she became one of its most popular students, inevitably butting heads with Mikoto Misaka - the other Level 5 - in the process.
* Matter of fact, her rivalry with Mikoto is what spurred her ascension. Upon learning that Mikoto got into the Pantheon herself, Misaki - not wanting to be one-upped by her rival, promptly put up a request to be ascended. The Court of the Gods initially dismissed the request, but suddenly they were bombarded by requests from Misaki's clique, requesting her ascension all the same. The Court then asked the ascended Index deities, particularly Touma and Mikoto, about Misaki: Touma said he genuinely doesn't recall such a name, while Mikoto was visibly conflicted: she is her rival but has ultimately helped her more times than she'd like to admid. Finally, a close inspection of her backstory revealed her past with Touma, and ultimately landed the Queen Bee of Tokiwadai a place in the Pantheon as the Goddess of {{Forgotten First Meeting}}s.
* Misaki took her ascension in good spirit, and said that she is once again level with the Railgun. However, she's had some trouble making friends in the Pantheon due to her crippling, albeit justified, paranoia. Her first two friends in the Pantheon were Makoto Niijima and Ann Takamaki, whom Misaki stumbled upon while going to the House of Food to grab a grub. Both Ann and Makoto were particularly touched by Misaki's backstory: Ann in particular sympathized with Misaki witnessing someone close to her attempt suicide, much like what happened with Shiho due to Kamoshida's machinations.
* Much to the bemusement of many, Misaki has found a kindred spirit in Goro Majima: the Queen Bee bonded with the Mad Dog of Shimano thanks to both being seemingly unapproachable and unpredictable but ultimately good-hearted leader figures in their respective factions. Majima, upon coming to wind about Misaki's story with Touma, was also reminded of his own doomed relationship with Makoto Makimura and how he ultimately had to let her go to keep her safe from the yakuza. As such, Majima has pledged to help Misaki however he can to make Touma remember her.

'''A SPECIAL PRESENTATION'''

Ali G walks down the road leading up to the Pantheon's main plaza, all while a montage of him doing various things plays, including, but not limited to: being photographed with Kyu Sugardust, smoking some ganja from the House of Crime, planting the flag of Jamaica in the House of Nature - and being chased by Ragnaros the Firelord as a result, and getting arrested by Judge Dredd. As the camera focuses back on Ali near the main plaza, he looks at the camera and does his iconic West Staines Massiv hand gesture as the words "ALI G IN DA PANTEEEON" appear below him.

The scene cuts to the studio in the House of Theater where his show is filmed. A metallic, yet pompous voice, echoes.
