Ironically, recent analysis showing that 65 million years ago the Earth ''was'' on the opposite side of the galaxy due to the Sun's orbit around the center actually lends some credence to this as well. Had they traveled in the opposite direction to that orbit they would have ended up in their current location much quicker.
69	* SomeKindOfForceField: Gegen and Veer get caught in one on TheBridge that keeps them from returning to their ship. They barely make it to the mess hall.
70	* StarshipLuxurious: The Voth city ship is so large it beams ''Voyager'' inside it [[MileLongShip with plenty of room to spare]].

''Voyager'' is left entirely helpless to even attempt fighting back, something not even the Borg can claim. This reflects the talk of their society being millions of years old.
