Highway to Hell is the sixth studio album by Music/ACDC, released on July 27, 1979. It was their final album with Bon Scott, who died on tour before their next album Music/BackInBlack was released. The album was supported by the TitleTrack, "Girls Got Rhythm", and "Touch Too Much" as singles--the title of the album and the song actually caused a lot of controversy, which may have helped its sales, being their BreakthroughHit in the States, peaking at #17 on the billboard charts.

!! Troping easy, troping free:
* AlbumTitleDrop: "If You Want Blood (You've Got It)", the name of an earlier live album, wasn't even a song until this album.
* BloodLust: "If You Want Blood (You've Got It)" and "Night Prowler".
* DoubleEntendre: This line from "Beating Around the Bush" is an honourable mention, and so is the song's title itself:
---> Sticks and stones won't break my bone
* EpicRocking: "Night Prowler" (6:18).
* LastNoteHilarity: "Night Prowler" ends with Bon Scott saying "Shazbot. Nanu nanu."
* LongestSongGoesLast: The album ends with "Night Prowler" (6:18).
* RockstarSong: "Highway to Hell", named as such because Angus Younginvoked said it was what being on tour was like. See the caption above.
* VillainSong: "Night Prowler," which got even worseinvoked after serial killer Richard Ramírez took the song as inspiration and left AC/DC memorabilia at crime scenes.
