However, if the story does not give any indication that [[BabiesEverAfter kids are on the way]], fans often take it upon themselves to imagine hypothetical children (or further-removed descendants) for canon characters. These kids are [[TitleDrop Fan-Created Offspring]], often colloquially referred to as "fankids" and "ship kids."
