5	* AchievementTestOfDestiny: An all-important exam in which performing well will have you recruited by the most selective groups.
6	* ARealManIsAKiller: "To join this organized combat force, you have to kill someone to prove your mettle" variant.
7	* BoxedCrook: A prisoner doing time is recruited for an extremely dangerous job in exchange for their freedom.

17	* IncomprehensibleEntranceExam: Getting into this job requires an introductory test that doesn't make the slightest bit of sense.
18	* InitiationCeremony: Typically marks the point at which the "recruitment" process ends and the candidate is considered to have joined.
19	* InitiationQuest: The player character of a video game tries to join an exclusive club and has to jump through a lot of hoops to be allowed in.
20	* JobsOnlyVolunteer: when a person has a job solely because they are the only one who wanted it.
21	* JoinOrDie: Refusing this job offer will be met with instant death.
