For whatever reason, a person just refuses to cry [[TryingNotToCry when they clearly want to]] or calls themself weak for doing so. That's when someone tells them that there's nothing wrong with showing sadness or vulnerability. Cue the waterworks. Often accompanied by a CooldownHug. Will often cross over with CatharticCrying. Expect the character to pull the SandInMyEyes excuse.

A character who feels like they're UnableToCry may learn that it's healthier for them if they do. A SadClown may also be the one learning this moral.
