!! Tropes in ''The Crossover Series'':

* AlienSpaceBats: Yeah, having HUNDREDS of medicine elders from all over the world commit ritualistic SUICIDE is one of the strangest ways to initiate time travel!
* AlternateHistory: The introduction of gunpowder warfare, horses and other inventions centuries earlier have a dramatic change in history.
* ATeamFiring: Subverted due to the limited ammo and the training that the Time-Travelers have. The human wave tactics and inferior range weaponry of their opponents make them easy targets
* BittersweetEnding
* CoolHorse: The Travelers have brought horses to the past which gives them a huge advantage over the Natives in the Americas
* CrazyPrepared: The Time-Travellers make a great effort to get as many essential resources for their jump back in time. They are prepared for the fact they might not come back
* CurbStompBattle: The team of five brought several guns and LOTS of ammo back in time as well as horses (both of which are terrifying for somebody who has never dealt with them). The lone veteran in the group also had homemade Plate Armor as well as a Freaking broadsword!
* OurTimeTravelIsDifferent: Combined with the stuff above, having to go through a mist in order to time travel is truly mind-boogling
