5----
6April 24, 2023: @/{{ljcool2006Backup}}: The personal sandbox page Sandbox/CMsApprovedBySkyCat32 is somehow getting 40 inbounds from "about://newtab/". Maybe it came from the creator of the page? There's also HotMom that for some reason is getting 12 inbounds from the mobile version of Baidu despite the fact that it has been a disambig page for almost 10 years.
7----
8February 17, 2018 @/{{lakingsif}}: The Music/MiracleOfSound pages got >1102 inbounds.
9----
10January 5, 2018: @/{{lakingsif}}: DawsonCasting got 1436 inbounds from [[https://www.reddit.com/r/blackmirror/comments/7o3zhu/heart_attacks/ this Reddit thread]], in a comment referring to the unbelievable age of a ''Black Mirror'' character. Also, CommanderContrarian has 500 inbounds from 4 different websites.
11----
12March 16, 2017: @/{{justanid}}: ''Film/{{Nosferatu}}'' got 917 inbounds from [[http://www.football365.com/ Football 365]], perhaps a player's nickname? It seems unlikely that a vampire would play an outdoor sport unnoticed, someone would have made an "inspirational" movie about them overcoming their severe sun-allergy by now.
13----
14December 12, 2014: @/{{Reterusu}}: HonorBeforeReason is getting 360 referrals today from mobile Website/{{Facebook}}. Why?
15* Probably because of [[https://www.facebook.com/TVTropes/photos/a.10152285452197100.1073741827.43296822099/10152401758002100/?type=1 This]]
16----
17June 21, 2014: @/{{G-Mon}}: {{Vaporware}} is getting hits from [[http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/subcultures/vaporwave a Know Your Meme page about a musical genre called "vaporwave"]] [[note]]from a user who [[JustForFun/IReadThatAs read it as "vaporwa]]''[[JustForFun/IReadThatAs r]]''[[JustForFun/IReadThatAs e"]]--incidentally, I initially misread it that way as well[[/note]]. Perhaps a page on that genre is warranted.
18----
1920th March[[http://www.cracked.com/article_21033_5-creepy-cartoon-fan-theories-that-make-way-too-much-sense.html Cracked.com]] linked to WMG.DextersLaboratory on one of its fan theory articles (more specifically a "X character has Asperger's" entry).
20----
21July.14: [[http://kotaku.com/this-smash-bros-fan-fiction-has-3-5-million-words-s-899629991 Kotaku made an article]] on Fanfic.TheSubspaceEmissarysWorldsConquest, which is noted as one of the longest FanFics. Note that the number is ''exaggerated'', since the author goes on rants in the afterwords to deliberately lengthen the count, so the core story is somewhere over a ''million and a half or two, give or take''.
22----
23Mar.12:[[Tropers/IlVit Il Vit]]: Apparently, [[Creator/WizardsOfTheCoast Research and Development]] (of TabletopGame/{{Magic|TheGathering}} fame) likes TV Tropes, as [[http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/rc/238 this article on combo decks]] with a link to NoodleIncident at the bottom has brought in the most people today (so far).
24----
25Jan. 12: @/{{G-Mon}}: It's only about 7:25 AM CST, and already MathematiciansAnswer has ~9,400 inbounds. Wonder why it's so popular....
26----
271/9: @/{{Earnest}}: A [[http://www.cracked.com/article_20178_the-5-most-badass-movie-scenes-that-happened-in-real-life_p2.html Cracked article]] about badass movie scenes is bringing in upwards of 6,200 inbounds to RammingAlwaysWorks.
28----
291/9: @/{{Frank 75}}: ChunkySalsaRule gained a lot of inbounds from various programmer sites, probably caused by [[http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2012/07/new-programming-jargon.html this "Coding Horror" entry]].
30----
3110/9: @/{{Telcontar}}: The Website/{{Wikipedia}} article for [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_activity_suit space activity suits]] uses our LatexSpaceSuit page as a cite note.
32----
338/24: @/{{TropeEater}}: Website/KnowYourMeme article on "[[StupidSexyFlanders Everyone's gay for]] [[VideoGame/GuiltyGear Bridget]]" linked to the page "Dropped A Bridget On Him", which not only had little to do with the meme, but was renamed a long time ago to UnsettlingGenderReveal.
34----
356/3: @/{{Elbruno}}: We've gotten 193 inbounds for {{FanFic.Sweet Apple Massacre}}. Doesn't sound that astonishing until you consider that this is a work article axed by the P5 many weeks ago.
36----
375 May: @/{{Telcontar}}: [[http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/ulo7l/a_photo_from_many_years_ago_buried_in_my_closet/c4wh5ih?context=2# When someone on reddit mentions us]], we get 7,435 inbounds in 4 hours. Total inbounds so far today? 13,328. That one commenter has sent ''more than half'' of our hits. Total inbounds for TheGlassesComeOff, ever? 8,150. That page only about 715 inbounds before now.
38
39By the end of the day, clearly that page wasn't at the top any more; we only got a thousand from that link in eight hours. Final number: 11,833.
40----
413/27: @/LooneyToons: Reiterating the note that the inbound links are no longer detailed, but now it's TooAwesomeToUse which has an amazing number of hits -- 4,169 as of 9AM EDT this date. (And 4,178 just a minute or two later... could this be some kind of spambot?)
42
431:10 PM EDT -- 5,142 links, and the hits seem to have slowed down to one every couple minutes now.
44----
453/26: Stumbleupon.com linked to us, and in these past few hours FunnyAneurysmMoment.WesternAnimation has gotten 1444 hits and counting; it wasn't on the list at all earlier. The page has only brought 2106 people here in total, so three quarters of those hits are from at most the past 8 hours.
46----
472/23: There's [[http://animeng.blog5.fc2.com/blog-entry-795.html this FC2 (Japanese blog)]] linking to GhibliHills. Currently 108 inbound as of 4 PM Pacific Time.
48----
49@/{{G-Mon}}: Oddly, we're getting inbounds for the nonexistent MichaelWhelan page from [[http://james-nicoll.livejournal.com/ a LiveJournal page]] ([[http://james-nicoll.livejournal.com/3526685.html convenience link to the entry in question]]). As of January 2, 2012, 2:09 PM CST, we have 71 inbounds to that page this day (~180 total).
50----
51(December 1st, 2011) Website/{{Cracked}}'s article on [[http://www.cracked.com/blog/5-reasons-money-can-buy-happiness/ 5 reasons why money can buy happiness]] had a link to WhenYouComingHomeDad and RichSuitorPoorSuitor.
52----
53November 19th, 2011) Website/{{Cracked}}'s article on [[http://www.cracked.com/article_19549_5-old-timey-prejudices-that-still-show-up-in-every-movie.html 5 old-timey prejudices that show up in every movie]] had mentions of and links to VasquezAlwaysDies and WaifFu, and a link to [[SexSignalsDeath Death by Sex]].
54----
55[[@/DaPatman DaPatman]]: Today's (November 16th, 2011) word on [[http://wordsmith.org/words/yob.html A.Word.A.Day]] includes a link to SdrawkcabName.
56----
57@/{{Earnest}}: (November 3rd, 2011) Reading through the list of commonly used tropes on ''Franchise/ScoobyDoo'' is now [[http://www.ya-honk.net/2011/11/03/orestes-doo-where-are-you/ part of the homework]] for a college class on Classical literature.
58
59----
60@/{{Specialist290}}: Less of a weird inbound link than a weird target, but it seems like JustForFun/InspectorSpacetime is getting hits from ''absolutely everywhere''. The page is only a couple of days old, too, and seems to be related to ''Series/DoctorWho'' somehow. Not sure what's going on...
61
62@/{{G-Mon}}: No kidding. Just checked the stats, and it's brought in nearly ''15,000 inbounds'' in a little over three days. We are working with a monster here.
63
64@/{{iamthedoctor}}: We've basically created a meme. It helps that io9 posted the link for the page on their website.
65----
66PZ Myers of [[http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2011/06/the_final_tally_on_the_camp_qu.php Pharyngula]] gives a link to XanatosGambit.
67----
68A blog post about an octopus linked to the Naughty Tentacles page with some prime AccidentalInnuendo on display...[[SincerityMode it's safe for work, promise,]] as long as you don't laugh loud enough for your boss to overhear. http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/2011/03/10/dont-flash-the-octopus/
69----
70@/{{Earnest}}: Not really weird, but it made me happy. Aaron Williams, the guy behind ''ComicStrip/{{Nodwick}}'' and ''North 40'', is [[http://ps238principal.livejournal.com/155739.html pleased that North 40]] illustrated AnimalEyeSpy.
71----
72A mailbag session at KirbysRainbowResort mentioned how a quote of the Ometon's popped up here.
73----
74[[WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment Spoony's]] rather understandable [[http://twitter.com/TheSpoonyOne/status/21453522591547392 reaction]] to his show's Fetish Fuel page.
75----
76@/{{Luc}}: Something of an odd case; we're not directly linked to, but clearly referred to, by a monster in VideoGame/KingdomOfLoathing's XMas event, [[http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Tome_of_Tropes The Tome Of Tropes]].
77----
78@/{{G-Mon}}: We've been listed in ''Maximum PC's'' [[http://www.maximumpc.com/article/features/100_websites_see_you_die_part_1 100 Websites to See Before You Die]].
79----
80We're linked from the [[http://blogs.abc.net.au/canberra/2009/12/dan-browned.html website for a Canberra morning radio show]] that took the old definition of [[FalselyAdvertisedAccuracy Dan Browned]] and made it a call-in feature
81----
82[[Series/MythBusters Grant Imahara]] finally checked out his picture on AsianAndNerdy - and [[http://twitter.com/grantimahara/status/20720636411 tweeted about it]].
83----
84Check [[http://www.fanhistory.com/wiki/LadySybilla this]] out. It's a page on notorious ''[[Literature/TheTwilightSaga Twilight]]'' fanficcer Lady Sybillia, and it features a troper-written description that used to be on SmallNameBigEgo.
85----
86Lore Sjöberg of ''Wired'' features us [[http://www.wired.com/underwire/2010/08/alt-text-procrastinators/ here]]. The page on the screen is RidiculousProcrastinator.
87----
88Creator/JohnAugust appears to have discovered us and has written a [[http://johnaugust.com/archives/2010/all-of-the-other-reindeer blog post]] praising the page for AllOfTheOtherReindeer.
89----
90Of all the things to link to YourPrincessIsInAnotherCastle, it was [[http://failblog.org/2010/04/16/funny-signs-stickmen-in-peril-house-of-horrors/ a blog about funny signs]]?
91----
92@/KorKhan: [[http://www.cracked.com/funny-4796-t-shirts/ According to Cracked]], TV Tropes is the #1 source regarding [[ShirtlessScene shirtlessness]]. Make of that what you will!
93----
94@/Deuxhero: We are apparently the 200th most visited website on the internet... In [[http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/tvtropes.org Jamaica]].
95----
96@/PhoenixFire: The LA Times did an [[http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/la-ca-tropes28-2010feb28,0,4476148.story article about us]] on February 28th. They don't seem to have really gotten the hang of "Administrivia/TropesAreNotBad"...
97
98@/ShayGuy: Better about it than most, though.
99----
100@/{{Ronka87}}: We've been featured again at [[http://www.cracked.com/article_18409_the-5-most-statistically-full-shit-national-stereotypes.html Cracked]], this time in an article about national stereotypes. Largest number coming in from CheeseEatingSurrenderMonkey, followed by BritishTeeth.
101----
102@/{{Earnest}}: This came up in a forum thread, but apparently if you Google Dying Like Animals, the trope page [[http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=dying+like+animals&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 is the #1 result.]]
103----
104@/FastEddie: Nice little bit about us [[http://www.businessinsider.com/30-best-blogs-of-2009-2010-1 in a year-ender]].
105----
106Tropers/{{G-Mon}}: [[http://www.cracked.com/forums/index.php?topic=60280.msg1381408;boardseen Apparently they're having a "Best of TV Tropes" topic on the Cracked.com forums.]] The first link was to ThrowItIn, but currently (Jan 1, 2010, ~4:45 PM CST) RememberWhenYouBlewUpASun is getting the most hits from them. Also, there's yet another example of JustForFun/TVTropesWillRuinYourLife
107in the third post.
108----
109I found something from ''Webcomic/BackwardCompatible'' the [[http://www.crispygamer.com/comics/backward/backward-2009-09-09.aspx 09/09/09]]. KatanasAreJustBetter!
110----
111Anon: This is from almost a year back, but the [[http://www.principiadiscordia.com/blog/cain/tv-tropes-has-infected-my-brain/ Principia Discordia blog]] linked us. So that's kinda cool.
112
113[[http://chaosmarxism.blogspot.com/2009/02/im-goddamned-batman.html Um, also]]
114----
115@/{{Kerrah}}: ''Website/BadassOfTheWeek'' linked us in the article for [[http://www.badassoftheweek.com/shinohara.html Hiromichi Shinohara]], released friday, 4th of December.
116----
117@/ShayGuy: [[http://www.zeit.de/kultur/literatur/2009-11/tv-tropes An article]] about us on the site for Die Zeit, by one Stefan Mesch.
118
119@/{{Deuxhero}}:[[http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zeit.de%2Fkultur%2Fliteratur%2F2009-11%2Ftv-tropes&sl=de&tl=en To save the english onlys the trouble]]. Like most machine translations a little odd, but this one is understandable. The title is "Luckily not Wikipedia" or such. I like the line "Here, not literary scholars, but college students, role players, movie freaks, and genre authors write" (engrish removed as far as I can). If we could fix the engrish it could be useful for something. It also seems to feel the German version is lacking (content I hope). It also thinks we like Dan Brown on the first page, but notes that false research is "Fucked by Dan" (hehe) near the end (Is this a translation issue?).
120
121@/Tzetze: The writer asked for some stuff on the forum here, although I don't remember the thread.
122
123----
124@/{{Katrika}}: Now we have some [[http://realwrestlecrap.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=WWE&action=display&thread=239113 wrestling forum]] linking to us for Fetish Fuel.
125----
126@/NotSoBadassLongcoat: Nov 6, 2009. Thirty seven references to [[LoliconAndShotacon Shotacon]] from boyloverlinks? They must be having real [[HaveAGayOldTime Gay Old Time]] there...
127
128Tropers/{{G-Mon}}: Wow, that site's ''still'' bringing us links? Well, at least the people coming in from there [[JustForFun/TVTropesWillRuinYourLife won't be going back for a while]]....
129
130@/Deuxhero:Did I just hear that site in the news? Eww.
131----
132@/{{Deuxhero}} We have gotten a few (highest inbound count as of posting)... [[IncrediblyLamePun links]] to AmericanKirbyIsHardcore thanks to an article on how in Spirit Tracks [[http://www.pressthebuttons.com/2009/10/american-link-is-hardcore.html American Link Is Hardcore]] and various sites linking to it and having another link in the comments.
133----
134@/{{Tzetze}}: [[http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-news/6274053/The-20-worst-science-and-technology-errors-in-films.html The Daily Telegraph.]] They even used the word "JustForFun/{{egregious}}".
135
136@/{{Medinoc}}: ''particularly'' egregious. [[DrinkingGame/TVTropes That's * four* drinks!]]
137
138@/{{Deuxhero}}:They didn't just reference us, they ''cited'' us. This should be used on Website/TheOtherWiki's page on us.
139
140@/SilentHunter: They have four article links in that article. I was hoping for the oddity section in ''Metro'', but the ''Daily Telegraph''. Woot!
141
142@/{{Madrugada}} ''Six'' article links and a "Thank you to". Tres Cool.
143
144@/{{Lemurian}} ''TEN'' article links, counting the main page-link.
145----
146October 7, 2009: We got a post about us on [[http://www.wow.com/2009/10/07/breakfast-topic-what-tropes-does-your-character-embody/ a prominent World of Warcraft blog]]. As of this writing, seven out of our top ten inbound links are from this post, with three more a little ways down, and a smattering of other links giving us about a couple dozen hits each on average. All in all, it's given us over ten thousand hits, out of a total of around 27,000 today.
147----
148@/{{Earnest}}: We're part of a T-Shirt advertising blurb in ''[[http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/c36d/ Think Geek]]''. I do hope they realize that link will drive more people away from their site than in...
149
150@/LooneyToons: You know, when advertisers quote us in their text, I think it means we're now an indispensable part of the culture...
151----
152September 20, 2009: Apparently, there's this thing called "Stumbleupon" that we've been put on. Oddly, the one that's getting the most inbound links is UsefulNotes/HistoryOfEnglish, with over 2000--the only other one with 1000 is ''Series/DoctorWho'', also through stumbleupon.
153
154@/ShayGuy: SU's given us loads of links as long as I can remember. There rarely seems to be any sort of rhyme or reason as to which page it links to most.
155----
156September 2, 2009:
157
158@/{{SAMAS}}: On a ''much'' more lighthearted note, the link to SpikesOfDoom from [[http://arstechnica.com/apple/reviews/2009/08/mac-os-x-10-6.ars/11 this]] article. What gets me is that is has nothing to do with tropes or movies, or games or anything. It's a review of an ''Operating System''. So it's like he just put it there [[JustForFun/TVTropesWillRuinYourLife to be a dick. ^_^]]
159----
160August 25th: [[LoliconAndShotacon Shotacon]] is getting hits from... "boyloverlinks". [[{{Squick}} Ewwwwwwww]]. I feel like I'm going to get arrested for clicking on that.
161
162rsm109: Beat me to it. Ugh.
163
164@/ShayGuy: ...More than...any other link today? This thing's sending more links than the main ''Webcomic/{{xkcd}}'' #609 and the top [=StumbleUpon=] link? Good God.
165
166@/{{SAMAS}}: August 29, and it's ''still'' hitting links!
167----
168August 4th: BreastExpansion is getting tons of hits from [[http://www.process-productions.com "Process Productions"]], which is "is a website dedicated to fetish material centering on gradual changes in a woman's form."
169----
170July 29: Those inbound links from forums at http://crystalhall.org/chboards/ are all Literature/WhateleyUniverse readers. Like me. (I didn't post any of the links in the forums, though.)
171----
172July 13: http://xkcd.com/609/
173It's not a direct link, but methinks we're going to see a significant spike in new users over the next while :P
174
175@/{{Adam850}}: Now the comic image links to UniversalTropes. As of when I posted this, 22,601 inbounds were directly from Webcomic/{{xkcd}}. Many others were from referral sites referencing the comic.
176
177@/ShayGuy: This is more than ''Webcomic/IrregularWebcomic'' has ever sent us, and those links are usually right at the top. How much ''has'' traffic spiked?
178
179@/CodeMan38: Enough that the server was down for a little while this afternoon.
180
181@/ShayGuy: And three weeks later, it's ''still'' the #1 source of inbound links. Damn.
182----
183June 21: http://forums.gleemax.com is linking to ItsPopularNowItSucks. This from the ''Creator/WizardsOfTheCoast'' boards?
184
185@/calronmoonflower: I posted that link in response to the reaction to a "What if?" question of ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' being the most popular pastime.
186----
187July 17: [[http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204410 This link]] on Warseer. A 40K fansite mentioning our portrayal on the site, no big deal, right? Then I checked the thread in general, and found it was comparing us to ''[[http://www.pbsblog.com/projects/spacemarines/deathtoys.html this.]]'' Words fail me.
188
189@/{{Earnest}}: To be fair, they do say we're more [[http://www.warseer.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3670541&postcount=97 "even handed and funny"]]... then again, compared to that site a root canal is more even handed and funny.
190----
191June 10th: People over at bootytorrents.com seem to like Franchise/{{Transformers}}. Arrr!
192----
193June 4th: ''Reddit.com'' has gotten us some 400+ inbound links to ArtisticLicenseEconomics. They seem to have a [[http://www.reddit.com/r/Economics/comments/8pmpt/the_nice_thing_about_mathematics_and_other_hard/ large number of hard science buffs]] who snigger at "2 + 2 = 4". Hmm, maybe add that in as a hottip?
194----
195June 2nd: A [[http://www.stumbleupon.com/url/tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php//Math stumbleupon.com link]] has given us an assload of hits for /{{Math}}.
196----
197May 19th:We have been getting various links to [[FalselyAdvertisedAccuracy Dan Browned]] (like [[http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/today/tomfeilden/2009/05/does_it_matter_about_antimatte.html here]] and [[http://io9.com/5256841/this-may-come-as-a-shock-the-anti+matter-science-in-angels--demons-is-wrong here]] (both in comments), but plenty of single hits as well) thanks a new movie based on a book of Creator/DanBrown's not doing the research.
198----
199May 7th: Series/TheColbertReport's [[http://www.colbertnation.com/home official website]] is linking to [[Quotes/StephenColbert Quotes/Stephen Colbert]] and requesting people add their favorite quotes.
200
201@/FreezairForALimitedTime: Pardon the netspeaks, but: OMG. We love you, whoever decided to do this. If it's you yourself, Mr. Colbert, all the better. <3
202
203@/ShayGuy: Noticed it on the inbound links page a couple of days ago. The page itself is only about a week old.
204----
205May 8th: PottyEmergency. [[http://www.wetting-forum.net/community/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=3038 Wetting-Forum.net]]. That's all I have to say.
206
207@/LooneyToons: Geeze. A little warning about that forum, guy. If I get in trouble at work for clicking that link... <shakes head>
208
209@/{{fleb}}: SchmuckBait, {{NSFW}} ''and'' RuleThirtyFour in action. Trifecta.
210----
211May 1: ''[[http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comics/stolen-pixels/6018-Stolen-Pixels-86-Left-4-Dumb-Part-8 Stolen Pixels]]'' links to MarySue.
212----
213April 29: Yet another not-a-link in [[http://www.errantstory.com/comic.php?date=2009-04-29 today's Errant Story filler]], referencing TheWorfEffect.
214----
215April 16th: Little old, and not a link but VideoGame/TheNamelessMod has an abridged version of the VideoGame/DeusEx page "hidden" as a book in game [[spoiler:in an office desk in ABI]]. [[http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/5045/shot0015.png picture]]
216----
217April 11th: This isn't really an inbound link, but they're talking about us on /u/. Or well, flaming about us. [[http://orz.4chan.org/u/res/486442.html#487706 WARNING PORN BOARD ON 4CHAN NSFW]]
218----
219April '09: To make the semantic web, you needs you some [[http://www.semanticuniverse.com/blogs-mary-sue-magnificent-bastards-tv-tropes-and-spontaneous-linked-data.html TV Tropes]].
220
221@/FalconPain: I find it significant that, on the writer's first visit to a site called "TV Tropes", he jumped to the conclusion that the site was originally designed to discuss tropes in ''anime''. Maybe the complainers have a point.
222
223@/SilentHunter: Is that our first academic article link?
224----

260Overall, isn't it odd when you find that an inbound link was from a google porn search (often RuleThirtyFour related)? I just find it too funny the idea of someone searching for porn, seeing the link, wondering "what's this?", and then getting ''completely'' derailed from their initial task.
261

2853 June 2008: Why, I wondered, was Theatre/TanzDerVampire, an Austrian musical (a bit outside our usual range of popularity), tenth on the BigHitters list? 34920-AUG-07:@/{{Seth}}:Is anyone else worried we get more hits for BrotherSisterIncest and {{Lolicon|AndShotacon}} off google than almost anything else?
350
351@/FastEddie: Used to be. Analyzed it and saw that the host-addresses that come in on those searches take one look and head off. The subject matter is dealt with here in ways that are not interesting to pervs.
352
353@/{{Shale}}: Still, the sheer number of people who search for that, especially relative to every other topic addressed on the site, is rather depressing. Stupid Internet.
354
355@/TravisWells: It's not that surprising. I run [[http://rapidsearch.yi.org a link search site]] and [[http://macrochan.org an image macro site]] and "loli" or "lolicon" is always in the top referrals and search query lists. For the linksearch it make sense, but for the image macro it's a bit weirder. Why do they want [[http://macrochan.org/get.py?sha1=H5UDL6JXI3UQKYNVTNNIBAEN6CCS5XIO pictures which are mainly making fun of them]]?
356
357'''@/KhymChanur''': Well, you also have to consider what rank the wiki gets for certain search terms: if it gets a low ranking, then not that many of the people searching for that term will go through enough pages of search results to get to our listing, but if it gets a high ranking then a very large percentage of the people who search for that term will click through to the wiki. For example, the term "lolicon" just by itslef ranks the wiki's {{Lolicon|AndShotacon}} page as #31 at Google, but MagicalGirl isn't in the first 270 hits for Google, so anyone interested in lolicon will check out our page, but people interested in magical girls will have had their fill of magical girl pages before they find us. Also, we come in #29 for the phrase "brother sister incest", #5 for the word combination "incest brother" and #1 for "incest tv" (though only #151 for "incest sister", and that's the discussion page).
358
359(Oh, and the latest lolicon search hit from google was me, while I was gathering statistics)

3611-DEC-06: Anybody have any idea what Matrim is saying about us [[http://www.shadowdance.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2041 here]]?
362
363@/Tulling: The language appears to be bulgarian. клишета would be cliche and забавен is similar to a russian (I studied the language) word for funny or entertaining. It seems he finds reading about anime tropes entertaining. Using an online dictionary it seems like he says it also contains that which you find everywhere like DramaticWind and that (ie those tropes) which you do not often see. At least, that is my educated guess.
364
365@/{{Gus}}: Thanks, Tulling. Okay. He likes us. He gets to live.
366
367@/SusanDavis: If it's the same Matrim that I'm thinking of (the link seems to hang for me), she's a she, not a he. I did post a couple of links to here on a forum where the Matrim that I know hangs out.

373* This just in: A [[http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=evil++idioms&btnG=Search google term search]] for "evil idioms" just blew up, with an an outstanding number of hits to SortingAlgorithmOfEvil. The term is #3 in the google results and we are getting ''pounded''.
374* Holy Carp! This guy: [[http://kfmonkey.blogspot.com/2005/11/writing-tv-jargon-preservation-index.html link]] has some great stuff in his Jargon items. It is like ScriptSpeak on steroids.
