!! FridgeBrilliance:
[[folder: General]]
* In this version Blue (like the other puppies) is animated in 3D instead of 2D like all the others. It seems strange until you remember that, like [[TokenHuman our hosts]], Blue wasn't born in Storybook World, she comes from a skidoo world. So it makes sense that she would be animated in a different way.
* Joe appears more frequently than Steve in the reboot, to the point where he is considered a [[CommutingOnABus co-host in the first three seasons]]. In his era Joe was associated with orange and he even appears in an orange shirt in the book version of "Happy Birthday Blue". [[OrangeBlueContrast Orange and blue are complementary colors]], so it makes sense that the host originally associated with orange helps the host associated with Blue more often.
* While Josh and Steve occasionally change outfits throughout the series, Joe, who previously changed his shirt frequently, always remains in the same purple shirt. The reason for this is that whenever we meet Joe he is doing something related to his work, that is, he is always in his Present Store uniform.
* Joe has the ability to do many things at once by using his OffScreenTeleportation for [[MundaneUtility mundane purposes]], [[NewJobAsThePlotDemands which allows him to work in many different places]] (from his neighborhood to real-life New York City) with little to no help with no problem. In other words, Joe is always [[StealthPun present]] when he's needed.

[[folder: Season 1]]
* When you think about it, both Steve and Joe's career choices make a lot of sense with their characterizations in the original series.
** Steve has always shown an interest in investigation-related activities like: playing reporter, treasure hunts, or Blue's Clues, the game he has played since he was a small child. Being a detective, [[CluelessDetective albeit a terrible one]], is an obvious next step.
** Joe is a one-man show being able to perform multiple actions at once with little difficulty, he is also quite creative and tends to think outside the box, both characteristics necessary to run a business, especially one where you work alone. He's also an arts and crafts genius, making a job that involves creating wrapping and decorations a perfect fit for him.
* Magenta takes the Green Puppy place as the one who hurt Blue in "Blue's Sad Day'' and the one that was painted by Blue in "Colors Everywhere with Blue". In real life, Magenta is extraespectral color created when you mix blue and red in the absence of green. Since Green Puppy doesn't exist in the reboot, it was Magenta's time to shine.
** Which also extends to Miranda in this version, Josh is [[ColorMotif associated with the colors blue and red]] and is the only host to never wear green, so it makes sense that his version of Miranda uses the [[BlueBoyPinkGirl color Magenta]].

[[folder: Season 2]]
* There are noticeable changes in "Blue Big Beat Band" compared to the first season, with the most visible being the change in the Thinking Chair prop. As this is the first original episode of the reboot, [[GrowingTheBeard this is a sign that the series is becoming it's own series instead of just a remake]].
* Why don't any of them have a problem appearing to the viewer even though they should be hiding in "Hide and Seek with Blue"? The viewer is not participating in the game so [[LoopholeAbuse being seen by them would not result in losing the game]].

[[folder: Season 3]]
* In "Blue's Dino Clues" the dish used as a thank you gift for Josh is the same leaves used to feed the herbivorous dinosaurs. In real life his actor and character inspiration, Josh Dela Cruz, is a vegan activist.
* Why Mailbox doesn't need to wear a helmet to breathe in space like the other characters? Mailbox is an [[AnimateInanimateObject animated object]], he probably doesn't need oxygen to live.
* Although Rainbow Puppy should have experience in the musical field, when she opens her neighborhood theater everything seems quite disorganized and her opening play only works out in the end due to pure luck. Come the [[Film/BluesBigCityAdventure movie]] and it is revealed that although Rainbow Puppy is a theater star, she relies mostly on her singing skill and has no experience directing or staging plays, she probably had no idea what she was doing this entire time.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Blue's Big City Adventure]]
* The reason why the "Planet Song” is the only non-periodic song that is reprised in the movie? The original version was taught to Josh by a [[ArcSymbol star]]!
* At several points during the music videos people are seen swirling around Josh. [[CosmicMotifs Josh is called the star several times during the movie]], they are doing the translation movement around him.
* None of the citizens seem particularly bothered by [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight Josh's displays of magic, or the numerous objects he has brought to life]], focusing mainly on his eccentric behaviors. Come the fourth season and Rainbow Puppy confirms that there was magic in New York City long before Josh got there, meaning the citizens were already used to it.
* The world our friends live here is confirmed to be called Storybook World, it may seem silly at first until you remember that the intro to each episode of the [[WesternAnimation/BluesClues original series]] began with a [[StorybookOpening Storybook being opened]].
** This also explains why so many characters in the film are able to recognize the hosts and Blue, even if they don't recognize them. In the show's universe the [[NoFourthWall fourth wall is non-existent]], [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall with even Steve acknowledging that he was being seen by the viewer through a television]], they are sentient fictional characters InUniverse.
* Why doesn't the lion statue become sentient like the other objects? They only become animated when [[CreatingLifeIsUnforeseen Josh realizes they are not sentient]]. Since Josh never realized it was an inanimate statue, the statue never came to life.

[[folder: Season 4]]
* In the first season of the original series, Blue met Magenta for the first time recently at school and had never interacted directly with Miranda before despite them being neighbors. In "Thank You Day" the Reboot version of Miranda mentions that Magenta first appeared on her second day in the neighborhood, meaning Miranda and Magenta's family had probably just moved in the start of Blue's Clues.
* "The Case of the Missing Thinking Chair":
** During the episode whenever Blue appears shocked, it is in a theatrical and dramatic manner rather than her usual confused look, appearing much calmer compared to Josh and Sidetable about the occurrence, with the only time where she appears genuinely nervous and surprised being when Steve loses his objects. The reason? Joe and Blue had control over the Blue's Clue game, but not over Steve's actions; by losing his keys, notebook and crayon, Steve was unconsciously delaying the plan.
** A meta case. Joe being the one who "stole" the Thinking Chair is probably a joke about some fans wrongly blaming Joe/Donovan Patton for the ending of the original series and for "stealing" Steve's role.
* Cinnamon with [[AnIcePerson ice powers]] in [[EveryoneIsASuper Super City]] makes some sense when you think that before the invention of refrigerators, cinnamon was one of the spices that could be used to preserve food.
* In the original series, Snail was referred to as feminine, but had a [[VocalDissonance typically masculine voice]], in the reboot however he is referred to as masculine, which may seem strange at first glance, but it makes a lot of sense when you learn that in real life most snails are hermaphrodites.
* In "Josh's Crummy Day" when the first clue is found you can see a drawing on the walls wheres Josh is wearing the same outfit he wears in the [[Film/BluesBigCityAdventure film]], which was the first time we saw Josh having a bad day.
* Why was everyone worried about Josh and Blue in "The Wizard of Skidoo"? The skidoo frame disappeared and when they returned to the living room the book was no longer there. From their point of view Josh and Blue simply left the house without warning.
* In "Night at the Blueseum", Josh has Pawprint jump onto a canvas, and names the painting it created "Pawprint [[Creator/PabloPicasso Picasso]]". Because the Pawprint, and by extension the painting, is blue, and it genuinely does resemble something Picasso would paint during his blue period.

[[WMG: '''FridgeHorror''']]
* Watching "Blue's Dino Clues" as an adult can be a painful experience, just imagine being the mother Triceratops and [[MissingChild losing her egg]]. She had no clue what happened, and [[FailureIsTheOnlyOption probably couldn't find it even she tried very hard, because it had fallen out of the world of dinosaurs]]. If Josh didn't go after her, she might never have seen her child again.
** The mommy dinosaur is lucky that Josh and Blue were in the living room, otherwise the egg would probably have broken from the fall.
