!!''No One Gets Out Alive'' contains examples of:
* AnkleDrag: Ambar sees one of the ghosts get dragged off by the ankle into one of the apartments.
* ApartmentComplexOfHorrors: The apartment building [[TheProtagonist Ambar]] is staying in is run by two brothers named Red and Becker. During her stay there, she finds she's being visited by ghostly apparitions, and hearing things inside the building. [[spoiler:She eventually learns that Red and Becker have been sacrificing the tenants of the building to a creature in a box in their basement in exchange for good health for Becker.]]
* BaldOfEvil: Becker.
* BeardOfEvil: Becker. Also Red as an semi-willing accomplice.
* BiggerOnTheInside: The stone box contains [[spoiler:a long, small hallway]].
* CreepyBasement: The basement of the boarding house contains a room full of candles with a slab in the center upon which [[spoiler:the tenants are sacrificed]].
* CruelTwistEnding: Ambar has killed Red and Becker, seemingly ending their plans. [[spoiler:Then Ambar stops before the front door, her broken ankle mending itself and the same veins that had appeared on Becker's head appearing near her eyes, ending on the implication that she will now start sacrificing tenants to the monster in the box.]]
* EldritchAbomination: [[spoiler:The creature living in the box has a larger set of arms for legs, a massive growth on its back, its face appears to be covered in cloth, and where it looks like its arms are bound together, there's a giant mouth inside the cloth big enough to bite a person's head off.]]
* EvilFeelsGood: Quite literally, as [[spoiler: sacrifices to Ītzpāpālōtl grant the one performing it improved health, visibly mending Ambar's broken ankle at the end of the film and implying that she'll now take up Becker and Red's old roles]].
* FalseFriend: Ambar's coworker Kinsi offers to help her by buying her a fake ID, but instead she pockets Ambar's money, quits her job and disappears.
* GeorgeJetsonJobSecurity: When Ambar tries to ask her boss for Kinsi's address, he fires her for being such a headache.
* HeadDesk: At one point in the movie, Ambar sees Becker in the boarding house hallway banging his head against the wall.
* HopeSpot:
** Ambar's cousin Beto arrives at the house looking for her. Realizing something is wrong, he forces his way inside and makes it all the way to her door before he is attacked and killed by Becker.
** When Ambar is chained up, she begs Red to let her go, and he reaches down and unlocks the padlock on her chains. Then he apologizes to her.
* HumanSacrifice: [[spoiler:This turns out to be what Red and Becker plan to do to the tenants. For every tenant the EldritchAbomination eats, Becker gets good health.]]
* TheIllegal: Ambar's whole situation. She's an illegal immigrant in the United States with very little money. Just being able to get enough money to get by is a struggle for her.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: At the climax, [[spoiler: having killed Becker, Ambar sees that Red is still alive - and promptly sacrifices ''him'' to Ītzpāpālōtl as vengeance for the women he'd helped kill]].
* TrailOfBlood: [[spoiler:The corpse of the previous sacrifice]] leaves one on the floor of [[spoiler:the basement as Becker drags it away]].
