Daltonite! is an upcoming French work produced by Creator/Xilam based off Creator/Morris' ComicBook/LuckyLuke comics. Unlike the previous Lucky Luke based cartoons, this one will be a fully CGI animated series.

Similar to its predecessor, WesternAnimation/TheDaltons, the show focuses on the four Dalton brothers, only with a different tone and a bigger emphasis towards its main characters. This time around Joe, Jack, William and Cloudcuckoolander Averell are seen taking on adventures that don't take place solely on the penitentiary, but they spread to the wild west committing crimes running away scot-free from the law... or not!

!!Daltonite provides examples of:
* AdaptationalBadass: This could apply to all brothers. They regain their original abilities, such as Jack being crafty and stealthy, William great at sniping and Averell knocking people out in a fist-fight.
* AdaptationalDumbass: Downplayed, While William is still smarter than Averell, he is scarcely outdone in terms of intelligence by Joe and Jack, thus losing his TheSmartGuy trait.
* AdaptationalIntelligence: Joe is actually the cleverest of the brothers this time around, although marginally, instead of constantly bragging about being the most practical.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: Yet again with William. From a GenericGuy at first and a BookSmart then, he is now depicted as a Casanova.
* AscendedExtra: At last, Jack and William escape from their OutOfFocus status and they are almost as fleshed-out as the antipodes of the group, Joe and Averell.
* ButtMonkey: All four of the Daltons, but unexpectedly Averell the most. Despite being a well-natured guy and thus not deserving it, he is the one who has to endure the most pain compared to his brothers, who do get a fair share of AmusingInjuries as well.
* TheCasanova: William, more outgoing than previous iterations and often seen flirting with women in many opportunities.
* Cloudcuckoolander: The biggest one in this show. Like in the previous series, he is very eccentric and you don't know what he is going to do next, making him very unpredictable and insane.
* ColorCodedCharacters: Downplayed in The Daltons, but played straight here. red:Joe wears a Red uniform, matched with his hot-tempered attitude, blue:Jack and green:William wear respectively blue and green, leaving gold:Averell with the yellow one, color associated with a kind and pure attitude.
* DarkerAndEdgier: While the slapstick component it's still there, the Daltons actually manage to commit murders other than robbing banks and ambushing stage coaches. Not to mention, William's AdaptationalPersonalityChange often leads to more jokes aimed at adults;
* DeadpanSnarker: Surprisingly all four Daltons. While each member of the quartet is great at snarking at one another, including Cuckoosnarker Averell of all people, Jack easily tops them all. However...
* DopeSlap: ... When Joe doesn't act snarky, he delivers a lot of these to his brothers, mostly Averell, of course.
* EnragedByIdiocy: The main reason why Joe gets often so worked up, with Averell especially.
* FourManBand: Joe is the conceited Smart Guy, Jack is the OnlySaneMan, often calling out his brothers for their misbehaviour, William is TheCasanova, dropping the "Wannabe" component entirely and Averell is the ButtMonkey, the most prone to slapstick due to his clumsiness.
* IdiotBall: While he became the official mastermind of the crew, Joe often tends to commit some ludicrous mistakes.
* InsufferableGenius: Downplayed, while far from being an actual genius perse, Joe is the brains of the gang and can be rather condescending to those who are not as practical as him.
* JackOfAllTrades: Ironically, Jack. He may not be as smart as Joe, athletic as Averell and easygoing as William, but when it comes to making suspects, steering in the right direction and especially repairing vehicles, you can always count on him.
* TheKlutz:
** As usual, Averell's clumsiness can make him get himself and the others' in trouble and thwart unwittingly the Daltons' plans;
** Downplayed with William, who does have his moments far and far between too, but he doesn't get hurt in his antics, just those around him, making him a little luckier and less destructive.
* LetsSplitUpGang: In three occasions, similar to their first appearance, they split up. In the first one each Brother travels by himself, while the second and last time they come in pairs: respectively Joe and Averell and Jack and William and Joe and William and Jack and Averell
* OnlySaneMan: With William, the other rational member of the group, turned into a more lustful and immoral individual, Jack's solo role as the sensible one within the group, such as calling out the others' misbehaviour and, like the previous series, calling out Joe's flaws in his plans, feels a lot more justified.
* ShorterMeansSmarter: Where their degree of intelligence are inward proportional to their heights. Joe may still be the one who brags about being smarter than the others, but here actually shows to be slightly more competent than his brothers, although "slightly" is the keyword here.
* TheSlacker: Downplayed, William still contributes to Joe's plans, but he isn't above kicking off at times.
