The different powers this 'Sex Note' gives leads Light down a different and far less murderous path towards improving the world.

3	Though the concept sounds like prime CrackFic fodder, the work resists falling into PornWithoutPlot, instead being a fairly serious exploration of an alt-power Light who can improve the world using far less harsh means than murder. Said means just happen to involve sexual manipulation to prevent rape from occurring.

10	* AdaptationalHeroism: Light. He retains his 'change the world for the better' goal, but using a Sex Note instead of a Death Note to accomplish it means he's gone about it in a less WellIntentionedExtremist way.

30	* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Light is doing all of this so that he can make the world safer for his sister Sayu, and he becomes uncomfortable when he realizes that the reason his father is so tired and overworked is because of him.
31	* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Light, he had an easy enough time picking up dates ''before'' he began using the Sex Note to make improvements. Upon first meeting Light, Ryuk is stunned by how beautiful he is.

It is a sex kamui's tool, increases libido, and has powers that focus around sexual matters, but the PowerPerversionPotential is entirely up to the user, unlike the Death Note which couldn't be used for anything other than murder. Light's use of the Sex Note on himself just focuses on general improvements, and on others he just uses it to stop rape.
