3	Established by Creator/StudioGainax co-founder Creator/HideakiAnno in 2006 shortly before his resignation from the studio the following year, [[http://www.khara.co.jp/ Khara, Inc.]] (カラー) is a Japanese animation studio. Unlike the studio it spun off of, they usually stick around as an inbetween and photography subcontractor.

5	Having produced the ''Anime/RebuildOfEvangelion'' films, Khara [[FranchiseOwnershipAcquisition bought the rights]] to ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'' from Gainax in 2014, giving them total control of the franchise.
